This will speed up the production of deep-fried dough sticks and increase production capacity. The airline will formulate franchise plans to expand its business territory. There are currently seven outlets selling deep-fried dough sticks, five in Bangkok and  two outlets in Chiang Mai.

Since the Thai Airways headquarters began to make full use of the advantages of aviation kitchens to make money, Thai Airways Silom Office has also taken action, bringing another Thai Airways branch  selling "Thai Airways fried dough sticks with purple sweet potato soup",  that have been widely praised by consumers. Even some consumers queued up to buy the fried dough sticks at 5 am. The sale has become a hot topic in Bangkok.

The reason why Thai Airways fried dough sticks are so popular is that the formula of fermented flour is unique, and it is fried in hot oil until it is full, golden and crispy. It is paired with the special purple sweet potato soup that is nutritious and delicious. Each serving of fried dough stick + purple potato soup set price is 50 Baht, which contains 3 fried dough sticks and a small cup of purple sweet potato soup. If it is paired with condensed milk, it is 30 Baht per serving.

At present, the sales of fried dough sticks at 5 branches of Thai Airways in Bangkok are 400-500,000 Bbaht/day, or more than 10 million Baht/month, prompting Thai Airways Kitchen to prepare a franchise plan to expand its business scope.

THAI’s director and acting president’s letter revealed that now Thai Airways fried dough sticks and purple sweet potato soup have been well received by consumers. Every day, many people line up to buy, including receiving a large number of orders. Thai Airways wants to expand its business by joining Thai Airways fried dough sticks in order to be more comprehensive, to meet the needs of consumers, including support for partners who are interested in conducting such business.

In addition, Thai Airways also urged to solve the problem of selling fried dough sticks at the headquarters' puff & pie shop as soon as possible, expand the fried dough stick sales area and increase from 1 deep fryer to 3 so that more people can enjoy the delicious food.
