On 2 August 2021 (Monday), the US House of Representatives released the latest virus traceability report, saying that a large amount of evidence proves that the virus has leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The leak date is much earlier than the date the CCP announced the epidemic. The report also requires the United States and other countries to hold the CCP accountable.

On Monday, the U.S. House of Representatives China Working Group released an updated version of the epidemic traceability report.

The latest report concluded that before 12 September 2019, the Wuhan Institute of Virology had inadvertently leaked the virus due to substandard laboratory safety standards.

In the middle of the night of this day, the "Wuhan Institute of Viology" suddenly took the virus database and sample database offline on the grounds that the mailbox of Shi Zhengli's team was attacked.

The report also stated that before the World Military Games in Wuhan in October 2019, the virus had spread widely in Wuhan, and after the Military Games, the virus has spread to the world.

Regarding the origin of the virus, the report believes that it may be a natural occurrence or the result of genetic manipulation.

The report finally requires the United States and other countries to hold the CCP accountable to ensure that there will be no third pandemic in this century.

McCaul, the chief Republican of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, who led the group, issued a statement on Sunday saying that after realizing the virus leak, CCP officials and Wuhan Institute of Viology personnel desperately concealed the truth, including taking the virus database offline in the middle of the night and applying for more than 1 million. U.S. Dollars for use to strengthen security measures.

He asked the CCP authorities to disclose the file records as soon as possible.

The U.S. Republican new report on the origin of COVID-19 in the U.S. House of Representatives

On 2 August, Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives updated the traceability report of the covid virus (SARS-CoV-2, novel coronavirus, CCP virus, covi), disclosing that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had suddenly taken its virus database and sample database offline in the middle of the night in September 2019. He bluntly stated that there was a large amount of evidence directed at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and called for a full investigation and accountability.

The China Working Group under the Foreign Affairs Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives released an updated version of the virus traceability report on COVID-19 on Monday. This organization, led by the chief Republican member of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, Michael McCaul, published a report on the origin of covi in September 2020. The content released on Monday is an updated version of that report last year.

According to the VOA report, the updated version of the report stated that there is still a lack of physical evidence that can prove that the virus originated from nature. Since no animal reservoir is found, the claim that the virus originated from an animal cannot be established. The information and relevant records now available show that the Chinese Communist Party and relevant scientific research institutions have been trying their best to confuse, conceal, and destroy relevant evidence.
Image : Appendix, page 63 of the updated report, showing part of the timeline of COVID-19

The report said that there is a lot of evidence that the virus that caused the epidemic was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and it occurred as early as 12 September 2019. New evidence suggests that the virus may have spread in Wuhan as early as the end of August or early September 2019.

The report mentioned a new piece of evidence that the Wuhan Institute of Virology had suddenly taken the virus database and sample database it manages offline at night of 12 September 2019.

The report pointed out that the satellite images of Wuhan in September and October 2019 showed a significant increase in the number of visits to local hospitals near the headquarters of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and an abnormal increase in the number of patients with symptoms similar to COVID-19.

"We believe that the virus was leaked at the end of August or early September 2019." McCaul wrote in a written statement. "When they realized what happened, the Chinese Communist Party officials and the scientists of the Wuhan Institute of Virology begin desperately to cover up the leak, including taking their virus database offline in the middle of the night, and applying for more than $1 million in funds to strengthen security measures,"

McCaul said bluntly in the statement, "As stated in this report, there is a large amount of evidence that all problems point to the Wuhan Institute of Virology."

McCaul also mentioned in the report that when the Seventh Military World Games was held in Wuhan in October 2019, many contestants had symptoms similar to COVID-19. The report suspects that the World Military Games may be the earlier centre of the spread of the virus.

The report pointed out in the conclusion that this virus may be of natural origin or the result of genetic manipulation. Initially, the virus was probably collected in a cave in Yunnan, China sometime between 2012 and 2015. Afterwards, researchers did a dangerous “gain-of-function” study in the absence of adequate biosafety guarantees. In the end, “because of the laboratory’s poor safety standards and practices leaked out.” The report believes that the covid virus first spread to the centre of Wuhan through the Wuhan subway, and then the World Military Games held in Wuhan became a medium for the spread of the virus internationally, and then the virus was carried around the world.

In addition, the updated version of the report also discussed the security issues of the Wuhan Institute of Virology. According to the report, as early as 2019, China's top scientists questioned the safety of the Wuhan Institute of Virology after conducting "unconventional maintenance work".

McCaul emphasized that the epidemic will inevitably cost the CCP government for its cover-up actions, including the passage of legislation by Congress to sanction the scientists of the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the officials of the Chinese Communist Party who participated in the cover-up operations.

McCaul said in the statement, "This is the largest cover-up in history, causing more than 4 million deaths, and the relevant personnel must take responsibility for this."

At present, the epidemic has caused more than 4.2 million deaths worldwide and nearly 200 million people have been diagnosed. The current US President Biden asked intelligence agencies to submit a report on the origin of the virus to the White House within 90 days in May of this year. The deadline is 24  August 2021.

StayGate's Notes: The "lab leak" theory has yet to be confirmed by the US intelligence committee although it is likely to be addressed by the end of August 2021. The US intelligence committee was split over two possible theories: That the virus emerged from a lab, or that the virus emerged naturally from human contact with infected animals, a source told the Financial Times in May.

Wuhan laboratory bids for refurbishment of facilities before the epidemic raises doubts

Reporter : Chen Ting / Editor : Ye Ziwei / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/8/2/n13132371.htm

According to a new report from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives, a few months before the covid outbreak, the National Biosecurity laboratory of the Wuhan Institute of Viology (WIV) conducts tenders for the renovation of air safety, hazardous waste treatment systems and central air conditioning for research facilities that have been in operation for less than two years. This rare move made the outside world suspect that the CCP might have known the virus leak.

According to Fox News, a report by Republican members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee stated: “It seems unusual to carry out such a major renovation soon after the facility is operational.”

The report pointed out that the laboratory's update of air disinfection, hazardous waste treatment and central air-conditioning systems "makes people doubt the operation of these systems in the months before the COVID-19 outbreak."

The report has not yet been officially released but Fox News, which obtained a copy in advance, pointed out that Republican lawmakers will announce the detailed cases they have obtained.

At present, it is not clear why the CCP authorities issued these tenders, nor are they sure when or whether the construction will finally start. However, it has been more than one and a half years since the outbreak of COVID-19, and the origin of the virus has not yet been determined. The exposure of this news seems to add circumstantial evidence to those who believe that the virus came from the Wuhan laboratory.

Fox News stated that this upcoming report believes: "A large amount of evidence shows that SARS-CoV-2 was accidentally leaked by the laboratory of the Wuhan Institute of Virology."

According to the report, after referring to the bidding plan published on the CCP’s procurement website, as well as other public data, interviews with former government officials and scientists, research papers, and international news reports, Republican members of the Foreign Affairs Committee believed that the virus was leaked from Wuhan Institute of Virology sometime before 12 September 2019.

The report pointed out that on 12 September 2019, Wuhan University, less than one mile from the headquarters of Wuhan Institute of Virology, issued a laboratory inspection notice.

A few hours later, the virus sequence database of Wuhan Institute of Virology disappeared from the Internet. That night, the institute issued an announcement to recruit laboratories for "security services", "including door guards, guards, video surveillance, security patrols, and personnel handling ‘foreign personnel registration and reception’".

In the past few months, more and more public health experts, scientists and government officials, including the Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros, have called for more transparent, thorough and independent investigations of the origin of covi.

According to Fox News, the report cited the testimony of "a former senior US official" that Major General Chen Wei, the chief expert on biological and chemical weapons defense of the Communist Party of China, took charge of the P4 laboratory of the Wuhan Research Institute at the end of 2019. This shows that the CCP "was worried about the incident there when the news of the virus leaked out."

"If she controls (laboratory) in 2019, it means that the CCP has known about the virus before, and the epidemic broke out earlier," the report said.

The report also pointed out that the satellite images of Wuhan in September and October 2019 showed that the number of hospital visits began to increase. At the same time, the number of online searches for COVID-19 symptoms began to increase.

The report also said that the map data indicated that the laboratory's researchers are likely to use Wuhan's buses and subways in their daily work to spread the virus to the entire city.

Republican researchers said there is evidence that the virus had spread throughout Wuhan before the World Military Games. With this, the virus further spread to the world.

In October 2019, Wuhan hosted the 2019 Military World Games. During the nine-day event, nearly 10,000 players from more than one hundred countries participated in the competition. However, the report pointed out that according to international media quoting athletes, there were no spectators in the event and Wuhan looked like a "ghost city." Since then, athletes in several countries have developed symptoms similar to COVID-19.

An aide to Michael McCaul, the chief Republican member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said the report is a supplement to Congress’s report in September 2020.

The covid outbreak broke out in Wuhan in December 2019, and now multiple infections have been reported in Wuhan. The infection chain of Jiangsu Huai'an Tourism Group has been extended again. On 2 August 2021 at around 3 pm, the topic of "Wuhan Epidemic" entered the top three searches on Sina Weibo in mainland China.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic at Nanjing Lukou Airport on 20 July 2021, according to incomplete statistics, as of 1 August 2021, there are infected cases occurring in Jiangsu, Hunan, Beijing, Sichuan, Liaoning, Yunnan, Anhui, Guangdong, Fujian, Chongqing, Henan, Hubei, Ningxia and cities in Hainan and Shandong. Since the CCP has consistently concealed the truth about the epidemic, official statistics have been generally questioned and untrue.

On 2 August, 7 people in Wuhan tested positive for nucleic acid, and one of them had an intersection with the Huai'an tour group's activity trajectory, showing that the Huai'an tour group's infection chain has been extended.

According to official notifications from Jiangsu and Hubei, on 22 July 2021, an enterprise in Hongze District, Huai'an, Jiangsu Province organized 67 employees to travel to Zhangjiajie, Hunan. On 27 July 2021, they took the D3078 train from Jingzhou Railway Station back to Hefei South Railway Station. After arriving, they changed to a chartered bus and arrived at Hongze at 11.40 pm.

According to news from the Wuhan Economic Development Zone Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters on 2 August, at night of 1 August, a local investigation of the resident personnel in a key area of a tourist group in Huai'an found that Tang X, a migrant worker at a construction site in Zhuankou Street, had been waiting at Jingzhou High-speed Railway Station on 27 July. The train station is an intersection with the activity trajectory of a tourist group in Huai'an. In the morning of 2 August, Tang and the 6 people close to him tested positive for nucleic acid.

The topic of "Wuhan Epidemic" has entered the top three hot searches on mainland Sina Weibo. Mainland netizens said that the epidemic "blooms everywhere, with airports, high-speed rail stations, performance venues, and high-density and high-mobility venues erupting. It is estimated that it will take a lot of effort to track the cases down."

Netizens in Wuhan said, “The transmission speed is too fast.” “Jingzhou bus station has been shut down.” “Many communities in the development zone have been closed.” “Many hotels have been cleared to prepare for quarantine. Several communities in Zhuankou were blocked." "The scope is too big, terrifying." "Wuhan hold on, Wuhan can't afford to hurt anymore." "Can't stand the tossing anymore." "People are in panic."

Mainland Chinese media Guangzhou Daily reported that 10 people from the tour group had been infected before, and 6 people in Huanggang, Hainan, Haikou and Jingzhou, Hubei tested positive for nucleic acid. So far, 23 people have been involved in the infection chain.

As of 12 am of 2 August, 10 people in the tour group, including the tour guide, had tested positive for nucleic acid. In addition, there are 2 positive cases in Huai'an as the spouses of members of the tour group.

On 1 August, two new local confirmed cases are confirmed in Shacheng District, Jingzhou, Hubei. Among them, case 1 Hong is related to a confirmed case of a tourist group in Huaian, Jiangsu, and case 2 is Hong’s girlfriend.

On  1 August, a confirmed case is found in Haikou, Hainan, which overlapped with the activity trajectory of the above-mentioned tour group at Jingzhou Railway Station.

In addition, on July 30, an 8-year-old boy from Hong'an County, Luo XX, tested positive for nucleic acid. He also took the D3078 train. On 1 August, two new cases of asymptomatic infection were added in Hong'an County. One of them was the mother of boy Luo XX who had taken the D3078 motor train together; the other was Luo XX's 11-year-old sister.

Due to the extension of the chain of infection at the Jingzhou Railway Station in Hubei, Huai'an and Jingzhou adjusted their risk levels.

Starting from 2 August, the risk levels of Building 128, Fuxing Road, Linhe Community, Gaoliangjian Street, Hongze District, Huai’an, Jiangsu Province, No. 18 Yard of Daqing South Road, Yangma Community, Gaoliangjian Street, Jinshenghuayuan Community, Huimin Community, Gaoliangjian Street, Huancheng East Road, Dengma Community, Dengma Street, Hongying Community, Dengma Community, Gaoliangjian Street, and Dengma Resettlement Community, Dengma Community,  Gaoliangjian Street, are adjusted to medium risk.

From 2 August, the enclosed areas to the east of Taqiao Road, the north of Jiangjin Middle Road, the west of Gongnong Road, and the south of Dongyue East Road, Shashi District, Jingzhou City (except Shashi District Government and Jingzhou Polytechnic Vocational College) have been designated as medium risk areas.

In addition, the news circulated on the Internet today said, “Currently there is definite information that the epidemic has entered Wuhan, and the area around Metro Line 2 and Children’s Hospital is a high-risk area (5 cases have been confirmed).” However, the above news has not yet been officially reported and cannot be confirmed. .

At the end of 2019, the covid epidemic began to break out in Wuhan. As the CCP governments at all levels concealed the truth from top to bottom and suppressed doctors and people who spread the truth of the epidemic, the epidemic spread to the world, causing this century's plague and causing countless lives.

Shanghai continues to adhere to the overall prevention and control strategy of "external defense input, internal defense rebound", focusing on key points and joints such as "entrance, settlement, mobility, employment posts, school gates, monitoring posts" and other key points and joints to strengthen epidemic prevention and control Closed-loop management of the entire chain.

One is to strengthen the management of personnel who come to Shanghai and return to Shanghai. Those who return to Shanghai from high-risk areas will be quarantined for 14 days for health observation, and two novel coronavirus nucleic acid tests will be carried out. Those who return to Shanghai from medium-risk areas will be subject to 14-day strict community health management and two new coronavirus nucleic acid tests.

The second is to strengthen personnel inspections at key locations. Airports, stations, wharfs and other transportation passenger terminals (stations), as well as village committees, units, schools, hotels and other places have strengthened the temperature measurement and health code inspection of people returning to Shanghai.

The third is to strengthen the new crown vaccination. Actively, steadily and orderly promote the new coronavirus vaccination work. Among mainland China outbreaks, Beijing situation "severe and complicated"

At present, the Delta variant (Covi72) is raging in mainland China, and the epidemic has shown a "multiple places" situation. As of 1 August, 15 provinces including Beijing, Jiangsu, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Fujian, Yunnan, Hainan, etc. Infected people have appeared in the cities, spreading across the southeast, northwest and northwest of the country.

In Beijing, after two confirmed cases in Haidian District on 28 and 29 July, on 1 August, Fangshan District added two more confirmed cases and one asymptomatic infection; on the second day, Haidian District added another confirmed case.

On the same day, Beijing implemented closed control over 6 communities in Haidian District. Ms. Zhu, a resident of the Shangzhuge community, said to The Epoch Times, "We can't get in or get out of this part of our (community). We are all sealed off and we stay in place." "Suddenly early today. Notice, we are also at a loss."

There is a confirmed case in the nearby Guoxingjiayuan community. A merchant in the community said that the community can no longer enter and exit, and someone is in charge of it.

The Beijing Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control said that the “epidemic situation is severe and complicated” this time, so local control has also been upgraded immediately. In addition to strict sealing and control of the areas where the cases are located, the authorities have also adopted strict access control measures of "whoever approves and who is responsible", requiring citizens not to leave Beijing unless necessary, and personnel from party and government agencies and state-owned enterprises and institutions in Beijing are not allowed to travel to high-risk area of the city.

In addition, people from high- and medium-risk areas are strictly controlled from entering Beijing, and people from areas where cases have been reported are restricted from entering Beijing, and flights, trains, and passenger trains to Beijing are suspended.

Some netizens complained, “Can we consider the policy of entering Beijing in neighboring commuter cities instead of one size fits all.” There are videos on the Internet showing that on August 1 and 2, various checkpoints strictly checked people and vehicles entering Beijing, and the roads were already blocked.

The epidemic recurs in Wuhan

At the beginning of this worldwide plague, Wuhan also broke out again.

On 2 August, the Wuhan Economic Development Zone Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters reported that 7 people in the local area had tested positive for nucleic acid; among them, Tang, a migrant worker, had an overlap with the activity trajectories of those diagnosed in Huaian, Jiangsu, and the other 6 people were all Tang's close contact person.

On the same day, Hubei Provincial Party Committee Secretary Ying Yong stated at the epidemic prevention and control work conference that the whole province must “get nervous and act urgently”, “prevent the importation from outside, prevent proliferation inside”, and “swiftly enter a wartime state”.

Soon, Wuhan once again entered the mode of closing communities and roads.

A video showed that a local citizen said, “This is all road closures. There are more and more police, even the city management is assisting in the control and all roads have been closed!”

A citizen near the Han's Market Market, Zhuankou Road, Caidian District, Wuhan's Economic Development Zone, told The Epoch Times that since the 2nd, a large area of their farmers' markets, shops, and communities have all been sealed off.

Another resident on Dongjing 2nd Road in Caidian District said, “(The government) does not let people go downstairs or leave the community.” On the afternoon of the 2nd, the local area was doing a nucleic acid test.

Some netizens also uploaded relevant notices from the neighborhood committees of Wuhan Yongji Community, Tongde Community, Wanjiahu Community, and Dongjing Community. The content mainly includes control measures, requiring residents to "only enter but not exit" (stay at home and not go out).

Some people also broke the news that in addition to the above areas, "The three towns of Wuhan (Wuchang, Hankou, Hanyang) also suddenly closed down multiple communities on August 2. At present, many supermarkets such as Hema and Sam's Club have been evacuated... The atmosphere is very nervous……"

Yangzhou epidemic "not bottomed out"

In addition, Jiangsu Province, where this round of epidemic first broke out, is still the hardest-hit area. According to a report from the Provincial Health Commission on 2 August, 40 newly confirmed cases in Jiangsu were confirmed, including 11 in Nanjing, 3 in Huai'an, and 26 cases in Yangzhou; 2 additional cases were reported. A case of indigenous asymptomatic infection was also reported in Yangzhou.

Wu Zhenglong, governor of Jiangsu Province, said, “This time the outbreak in Yangzhou occurred early and was discovered relatively late. The situation has not yet bottomed out.”

A resident of the local Wutang community told The Epoch Times, “Yangzhou is all closed, highways, roads, entrances and exits are closed, we are closed here, we can’t go out, and several communities have been cordoned off.” she said, “When there was an epidemic last year, Yangzhou was not as severe as this year. There are only a few places, and it will be by our side this year.”

Nanjing suspends outpatient clinics

In Nanjing, except for the outpatient department set up in the hospital, all outpatient departments and clinics will be closed from August 1st; stomatology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, plastic surgery (cosmetics) departments, etc. will also be suspended, and only necessary emergency treatments will be reserved. .

Nurses from local homes and hospitals told The Epoch Times on the 2nd, “In hospitals below tertiary hospitals, some departments have also been closed, and non-emergency departments will not receive treatment.” “(Now) is very troublesome. Don’t go out. We are also resting now. Just leave one on duty."

A nurse who made an appointment at the Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital also said that the emergency department will only be admitted unless it is a life-threatening problem.

The CCP has always concealed the truth about the epidemic. Mr. He from the Nanjing Zijingyuan Community said, “I don’t know what the situation is now, and I don’t know when the quarantine at home is going to happen. It’s just screening and quarantine every day. There are cases every day. We have done five or six. Nucleic acid testing."

Does the new variant virus invalidate all vaccines?

Image : Web Screenshot

The new round of the epidemic is so fierce that many people have begun to complain that the CCP "blindly exaggerated the effects of domestic vaccines" and "Since exaggerating the effects of vaccines, no masks can be seen in supermarkets!"

These complaints are of course reasonable. On 26 July, Nanjing Airport staff disclosed to Radio Free Asia that 36 of the 37 people infected in Nanjing had been vaccinated with two doses of domestic vaccines, so the answer is obvious whether these vaccines can play a protective role.

However, another point that we cannot ignore is that what humans are now facing is not the original novel coronavirus, but Covi72 that mutates and mutates. Researchers found that it is 60% more infectious than the Alpha variant (Covi17) that was dominant last time.

Last Friday (July 30), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a report showing that fully vaccinated people may not only be infected with Covi72, but also spread the virus like unvaccinated people. The report also said that a series of other recent discoveries about the Delta variant has overturned scientists' understanding of SARS-CoV-2.

Also on Friday, the British government issued a report that it is "almost certain" that a newer variant virus will appear, enough to cause all current vaccines to fail. However, the report also stated that this is a theoretical scientific deduction, not that the new virus already exists. This kind of report will provide scientific theoretical support for the government to deal with emergency situations.

On the other hand, for this epidemic that has caused more than 4.2 million deaths and completely disrupted the global economic and social order, the United States has not stopped the traceability investigation of the virus.

The U.S. report refers to WIV again

On 2 August, Republican members of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee released an updated version of the virus traceability report, arguing that “a large amount of evidence shows that the virus was accidentally leaked from the laboratory of the Wuhan Institute of Virology”.

The report pointed out that, first, several months before the outbreak of the epidemic, the WIV conducted tenders for the renovation of air safety, hazardous waste treatment systems and central air-conditioning for research facilities that had been operating for less than two years. "It seems unusual to have such a major renovation soon after the facility started operating."

Second, on 12 September 2019, Wuhan University, less than one mile from the headquarters of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, issued a laboratory inspection notice.

Image : Video Screenshot

A few hours later, the virus sequence database of the WIV disappeared from the Internet. That night, the institute issued an announcement to recruit laboratories for "security services", "including door guards, guards, video surveillance, security patrols, and personnel handling ‘foreign personnel registration and reception’". These actions also revealed strange things.

The report also pointed out that in September and October 2019, satellite images in Wuhan showed that the number of hospital visits began to increase. At the same time, the number of online searches for COVID-19 symptoms began to increase.

Republican members of the Foreign Affairs Committee believed that the virus was “at some point before 12 September 2019.” Leaked from the WIV, it had spread throughout Wuhan before the World Military Games. Through the Military Games, the virus was further spread to the world.

The report is more than 80 pages long and provides other evidence, including public data, interviews with former government officials and scientists, and research papers.

After learning Tibetan Buddhism, Gansu forced the monks to return to vulgarity, and the monastery wailed

The CCP is faced with being held accountable internationally and ruled by China, where natural and man-made disasters are frequent. Many Chinese with traditional beliefs will think of regrets and blessings in the temples at this time. However, Chinese monasteries are not peaceful now. A few days ago, crying came from a Buddhist monastery.

It was not the believers who came to pray, but the monks who sat in front of the door and were forced by the CCP government to return to vulgarity.

On 31 July, Hongcheng Temple, a long-standing Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yongjing County, Gansu, was forcibly closed by government officials. In the monastery, the monks pulled up banners that read "Forcing the monks to return to the secular, and the national law is not tolerated." The local ethnic and religious bureau acknowledged the matter, but refused to respond. Online video shows that during the conflict, some monks even jumped off the building to resist.

Some netizens broke the news that the cause of the incident was "In 2020, when the epidemic came, the lamas of the monastery mobilized laymen to donate more than 300,000 yuan. Unexpectedly, this brought troubles to the monastery" because "the local government saw the monastery with so much money, he finally put forward a request for the 'monastery income' to be shared equally with  the 'local'." The monastery refused to become a "commercial market" and rejected this request, so the government is now going to directly seal the monastery and force the monks to return to the vulgar. At present, this statement has not been further confirmed.

However, some people believe that because the Hongcheng Temple has become more and more influential among the Han people, the authorities have increasingly felt that their ideological control over the people is being challenged. This incident is actually the official cleaning up of Tibetan Buddhism in the Han region.

Last week, Xi Jinping went to Tibet when the floods in Zhengzhou were raging, and also met with officers and soldiers of the troops stationed in Tibet. The media explained that the purpose of Xi Jinping's trip was to declare his position on the border with India.

The American commentator Ma Ju pointed out to Radio Free Asia that Xi Jinping's trip to Tibet also signals that it will intensify the suppression of ethnic minorities.

The Hongcheng Temple has a long history. During its heyday, there were more than 3,000 monks in the temple. However, after the CCP usurped power, it was repeatedly destroyed. Some Twitter netizens said that forcing monks to return to the vulgar, “we had it once during the Cultural Revolution, and this is the second time! The communist bandits acted against the sky, one by one, it’s too much to write about.”

The Epoch Times editorial series "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" pointed out that at the beginning of its usurpation of power, the CCP had eliminated Buddhism, Taoism, and Christianity, violently suppressed religions, and banned all guilds. Not only did they destroy the temple and burn the scriptures, forcing monks and nuns to return to the vulgar, but also never relented in destroying other religious sites.

In recent years, even some monasteries and monks have even been forced to swear to "love the party", compulsively sing Red songs, and so on.

The Wuhan Epidemic Prevention and Control Department informed that starting from the 2nd, Zhuankou Street in Wuhan Economic Development Zone will be designated as a medium-risk area, and the closed management of "only entry but no exit" will be implemented. Secretary of the Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor's careers are worrying

Earlier, on July 31, Ma Shuhuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Sixth People's Hospital of Zhengzhou City, Henan, and Fu Guirong, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Zhengzhou Municipal Health Commission, were all removed from their posts. Henan media call for Xu Liyi to step down, Zhengzhou authorities weak in emergency response capabilities

Zhengzhou was hit by floods last month and was recently hit by the covid epidemic. On 26 July, Henan media person Zhu Shunzhong once issued an article calling on the Beijing authorities to "change the commander" for Zhengzhou, otherwise "the people's anger will be unquenched and the dead will be uneasy."

It is reported that the secretary of the Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee is Xu Liyi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee, a political background, and belongs to the old department of Zhejiang of Xi Jinping while the mayor of Zhengzhou, Hou Hong, once served as the secretary of the Kaifeng Municipal Party Committee.

Reports believe that Xu Liyi and Hou Hong are expected to be held accountable or even step down.

Hong Kong's "Ming Pao" published a signed commentary on 22 July that Xu Liyi had no outstanding performance in Zhengzhou for two years, and it remains to be seen whether his career was affected by the floods.

In addition, some netizens believe that after the outbreak of the epidemic in Zhengzhou, Henan, the director of the Municipal Health Commission was removed, and Nanjing should also be responsible for the epidemic. As of now, only Feng Jun, the party secretary and chairman of the Eastern Airport Group Company, which belongs to Lukou Airport, has been suspended of his duties in Nanjing.
