SriLankan Airlines A320neo accident in Male

On Wednesday (21 April 2021), at Male International Airport in Maldives, a Sri Lankan Airlines Airbus A320neo was hit by an airport ground service vehicle. Judging from the photo at the scene, the left horizontal tail of the aircraft appears to be damaged.

The A320neo is four years old at the time of the accident. It has been withdrawn from service. Three other A320 jets remain active in Colombo.
