Leisure travel to Denmark from Singapore permitted from 21 April 2021

From 21 April 2021, entry into Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, from Singapore is no longer limited to essential travel, and Singaporean passengers do not need to quarantine upon arrival in Copenhagen.

According to a statement from the Danish Embassy in Singapore, passengers flying from Singapore to Stockholm by Singapore Airlines are still required to present a certificate of negative SARS-CoV-2 PCR test received within 24 hours before boarding. Passengers also need to be tested for covid after arrival.

As Singapore imposes strict entry restrictions on visitors from Denmark, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises its nationals to avoid visiting Singapore except for necessary travel.

The statement of the Danish embassy in Singapore also stated that the embassy was unable to answer questions about the entry into Denmark.

In addition, the embassy has resumed visa services to Denmark and Iceland starting on 21 April. The public who need to apply for a visa can make an appointment through VFS Global.

However, the Danish Embassy in Singapore is currently temporarily suspending visas to Sweden, Norway and Finland. If the public needs to apply for visas for the above-mentioned countries, they can contact the respective embassies in these countries.
