Giuliani: Trump approves a re-indictment in state courts in six swing states

Following the US Supreme Court’s rejection of Texas’s lawsuit against the four swing states, Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani  on December 12 said that President Trump has approved his legal team to resubmit a new batch of reorganized lawsuits to state courts in six swing states, including Arizona and Nevada.

Giuliani said in an interview with Steve Bannon’s “War Room” on Saturday that after receiving news that the Supreme Court had rejected the Texas lawsuit, the Trump legal camp immediately launched Plan B, which means that the state court in the state filed a lawsuit.

He said that before getting the news, the Trump legal camp had already prepared Plan B. This plan B litigation is another version of Texas's petition filed with the Supreme Court to file a lawsuit in the relevant state court. After President Trump learned that the Supreme Court had rejected the Texas case on the evening of December 11, he approved the start of Plan B.

On December 11, the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed Texas's four swing states' unconstitutional lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia. The Trump legal camp has already filed lawsuits in certain states (such as Wisconsin), or will file similar complaints in the local courts of the relevant states starting from December 13 (Sunday). This time, it has also filed an election fraud lawsuit in the local courts of the two swing states of Arizona and Nevada.

Giuliani said, “If the actions of the state government have no legal basis, President Trump’s actions must have a legal basis. The legislative committees of the states also have a legal basis. We will submit these complaints to these state courts, starting today."

Giuliani also said that in order to avoid admitting the fact that the 2020 election was stolen, many courts have been refusing to hear the Trump camp's election fraud case under the pretext of lack of legal basis. For example, the reason why the Supreme Court rejected the Texas complaint was that they believed that the Texas complaint lacked a legal basis.

He said, "But if President Trump has no legal basis, then no one has a legal basis to complain about election fraud; then people will not be able to complain about election fraud, which is tantamount to a court announcement that people can cheat in the election because no one has the right. Prosecute them, in fact, they are almost able to declare this.

Therefore, President Trump has the most legal basis for prosecuting this case. We will see what excuses they use to avoid hearing these cases. "

He also said, "The practices of these courts are very unreasonable. At present, the American people do not know these facts, and the American people should understand these facts... At present, no court has listened to this case. They have not listened to any witnesses. The testimony, they didn’t view any videos, they didn’t listen to any recordings. And we have thousands of copies of this kind of evidence. They didn’t even look at the video about Atlanta, Georgia, which was decisive evidence because the video showed that 30,000 ballots were stolen in the state, which is enough to change the election results in Georgia."
