At 10 am Eastern time on Wednesday (December 16), the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will hold a "Review of 2020 Election Violations" Hearings. NTD and The Epoch Times will broadcast live (simultaneous translation in Chinese). Stay tuned.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee previously announced that it will hold the first hearing on "election violations" on December 16 to review "violations" in the 2020 presidential election.

Witnesses:

Congressman Kenneth W. Starr, testifying in his personal capacity;
Donald Palmer, Commissioner of the U.S. Election Assistance Committee;
Troupis Law Firm (Troupis Law Firm) lawyer James R. Troupis (James R. Troupis);
Pennsylvania State Assemblyman Francis X. Ryan (Francis X. Ryan);
Harvey and Binnall (PLLC) partner Jessie R. Binnall (Jessie R. Binnall);
Christopher C. Krebs, former Director (2018-2020) of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Department of Homeland Security.

The meeting address is in the Senate Dirksen Building, Room SD-342, via video conference.

The chairman of the committee and Senator Ron Johnson, Republican of Wisconsin, stated in a statement that he understands that many of the issues raised about the election will continue to be properly resolved through court procedures, but the fact is that most Americans believe the outcome of the 2020 election is illegal, there is clearly a violation and has not been fully reviewed.

Johnson emphasized, “This is not a sustainable state for our country. The only way to resolve doubts is to have sufficient transparency and let the public know. That will be the goal of the hearing.”

He said, “The purpose of the hearing is to determine the main issues in the election, ask questions, hope to provide some answers, and identify areas that need to be strengthened. This is not just about this election, but affecting future elections.”

Johnson introduced that Ken Starr, the former independent lawyer who investigated Clinton when he was president, will become the "chief witness" and testify in absentee ballots.

Johnson also said that the hearing will help him decide whether to challenge the results of the election with House Republicans at the Congressional vote-counting meeting on January 6.

Members of Congress have challenged the Electoral College certification. Republican member of the House of Representatives Mo Brooks stated that he will challenge the Electoral College certification at the general meeting of the House and Senate on January 6. He called on at least one senator to stand up and fight with him to safeguard the justice of the American electoral system.

Brooks said in a Fox interview on Monday that President Trump actually won the U.S. election. Election fraud is now happening across the country. "We should not count illegal votes and let illegal presidents come to power."

On Monday (December 14), the electoral college members voted for the president, and the electoral college elected by the swing state governments of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, and Michigan voted for the Democratic candidates Biden and the senator Harris but the Republican electors voted for President Trump (Trump) and Vice President Pence.

Next, Congress meets in Washington at 1 pm on January 6 to count the electoral votes and announce the winner. If there is an objection, at least one senator and congressman must challenge the election results in the meeting.
