To prevent the CCP from harvesting live organs from prisoners of conscience, on Wednesday (16th), three members from both parties in the U.S. Senate jointly introduced the "Stop Live Organ Harvesting Act." On June 17, 2019, the Independent People’s Tribunal (Independent People’s tribunal) in London, UK ruled that the CCP’s practice of organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience has existed for many years and still exists. Falun Gong practitioners are the main source of organ supply.

According to investigations, Chinese doctors harvest organs from detainees in Chinese prisons, even when the people are still alive, and then sell them on the market, earning US$1 billion a year. The final verdict concluded that live organ harvesting has been carried out all over China for many years, which is unparalleled evil.

"Live organ harvesting is a barbaric, inhuman and shocking behavior. Stopping this behavior has global significance because transnational human trafficking gangs, terrorist organizations, profiteers and even the government, especially the Chinese Communist regime, are killing innocent people. And sell their organs for profit." One of the drafters of the bill, Smith, said in a statement.

"A global problem requires a global response." Congressman Smith said, "According to our bill, organ harvesters and traffickers often prey on political prisoners or vulnerable groups such as ethnic minorities. The U.S. State Department will respond to them. Confirm and expose to punish offenders and initiate effective sanctions and travel restrictions".

“For many years, the CCP has continuously exploited prisoners and members of ethnic minorities and religious groups. Today, we still witness them further exploiting these groups by harvesting live organs.” Sauze said, “CCP members must be responsible for these ulterior acts. Forced live organ harvesting has no place in our world."

The Act requires authorization and orders:

The U.S. government rejects or revokes passports of illegal organ purchasers;

Report the situation of live organ harvesting in foreign countries every year. This report will be used to identify foreign officials and institutions responsible for live organ harvesting;

Annual report on the situation of American institutions involved in the training of organ transplant surgeons who are associated with foreign institutions that harvest live organs;

It is forbidden to export organ transplant surgery equipment to institutions responsible for live organ harvesting;

Sanctions against foreign officials and institutions that engage in or otherwise support live organ harvesting.
