Sanya released the latest epidemic report, many people under observation

The Sanya Municipal People’s Government Network issued a notice on 13 December 2020, stating that at 10.20 pm on 11 December  2020, the Sanya Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters Office received a report that a tourist Lei (female, 38 years old) staying at a hotel in Sanya and Guan (female, 39 years old) her room mate are close contacts of asymptomatic patients with covid.

It was verified that Lei and Guan were traveling companions in Hainan. They took flight MU2317 from Xi’an Xianyang Airport to Haikou at 5.05 pm on 9 December 2020. They ate at the same restaurant at the airport with an asymptomatic covid patient before departure. Based on their meal history, the two women have been confirmed as close contacts of asymptomatic infection of covid.

The Sanya Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters attaches great importance to it, promptly initiates emergency response plans, organizes member units to conduct personnel management and control, epidemiological investigations, close close contact investigations, transfers to staying hotels for centralized isolation and observation, and arranges sampling and testing Work in cities and counties related to information reporting.

After a full-track epidemiological investigation, it was verified that Lei and Guan wore masks in public places in strict accordance with the requirements throughout their stay in Hainan. After tracking Lei and Guan’s close contacts in Hainan, 43 people, include 29 in the same tour group (including tourists, tour guides and drivers), during the Hainan event (at the same restaurant more than 3 meters away). Among  12 people, there were 2 people in the same row and three rows before and after taking flight MU2317 to enter Sanya. Lei Mou, Guan Mou and the above 43 close contacts were all transferred to the Central Observation Hotel for control and nucleic acid testing at the first time, and at the same time the places they visited in Sanya  were disinfected.

At present, the nucleic acid tests of Lei, Guan, and 43 of their close associates are all negative. Sanya will strictly implement the protective measures, continue to do a good job in the prevention and control of the epidemic, and resolutely do a good job in the prevention and spread of the epidemic.
