The World Health Organization (WHO) SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus) Traceability Research Joint Expert Group recently announced that the CCP virus cannot come from the Wuhan laboratory. In this regard, WHO consultant Jamie Metzl disclosed to the US media that the expert group only listened to official reports from the Chinese Communist Party and denied the source of the laboratory without investigation.

In a recent online interview with Fox News, Metz disclosed the inside story of the so-called "investigation" of the WHO joint expert group. He said that the expert group did not conduct a substantive investigation in China, but directly listened to and adopted the official CCP report. He said that among the several possible options for the source of the CCP virus, the WHO did not consider the possibility of laboratory sources at all, and directly denied this option. This situation made him very angry.

Fox News reported on this with the title "Who's Funny Origin Story of SARS-CoV-2".

Prior to this, the WHO expert group and Chinese experts held a joint press conference in Wuhan on February 9. Liang Wannian, the Chinese leader of the joint expert inspection team, claimed at this press conference that there is no evidence that Wuhan had an epidemic before December 2019. The WHO expert team claimed that the Chinese Communist Party virus was “very unlikely” from the Wuhan laboratory. This remark caused a huge backlash in public opinion overseas.

The British "Sun" reported on February 9 that the WHO's survey results seem to support the CCP’s argument that the virus may come from abroad to a large extent, confirming the CCP’s repeated denial that the virus originated in laboratory accidents. This move will only exacerbate the accusations that the WHO "centers on Beijing".

"This is a complete whitewash." The Chairman of the British Defence Council, Tobias Ellwood, MP said in an interview with The Sun. "In view of the global economic damage and death toll caused by this epidemic, no more A country responsible for the epidemic should not be allowed to hinder international investigations for a full 12 months."

Sam Armstrong, the communications director of the Henry Jackson Society, a British think tank, also told The Sun: "WHO agreed to conduct a'joint investigation' with the CCP, which speaks for itself. They started from the beginning. In the absence of evidence, the laboratory leak theory was discounted."

Earlier, Metz said in an interview with the Canadian newspaper Toronto Sun that more and more evidence shows that the Chinese Communist Party virus is most likely to come from a laboratory leak in Wuhan and the CCP government should stand up and say clearly.

Metz introduced at the time, "There is a field of research called 'gain of function' research. This research is controversial because scientists amplify the activity of the virus. We know that the acquired Wuhan virus research on the function of bat coronavirus has seen progress."

Metz also said that because this happened in China, the world still does not know the source of the virus. If other countries prevented the World Health Organization from going to the scene to investigate at the beginning of the virus outbreak, "then the world would be crazy."
