After the Myanmar military launched a coup, it blocked Facebook, Twitter and other social media and shut down Internet services, causing continuous protests among the Myanmar people. On the 13th, about 1,000 people gathered in front of the Chinese Communist Embassy to demonstrate and displayed Chinese banners condemning Beijing for supporting the military coup in Myanmar.

Comprehensive media reported that on February 13, about 1,000 people gathered in front of the Chinese Communist Embassy in Yangon to demonstrate. The demonstrators put up banners in both Chinese and English, such as "Stop helping the military coup", "Invite network technicians from China to leave immediately" and "Support Myanmar Don't support Dictators" and other slogans, condemning Beijing's interference in Myanmar's internal affairs.

A female kindergarten teacher who participated in the demonstration said that many people felt that the CCP existed behind the coup.

A female college student also said that regaining democracy requires the support of the world. If China is a good neighbor, it should lend a helping hand to realize the future that Myanmar young people really hope.

After the Myanmar military launched a coup on February 1, it blocked Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media on February 6. Myanmar’s largest city, Yangon, broke out in the largest protest march since the military launched the coup. Thousands of people took to the streets to condemn the coup. The military blocked the Internet on the same day.

The network monitoring website "NetBlocks" reported that Myanmar has been blocked nationwide, and the network connection level has dropped to 16% of normal conditions. Witnesses reported that mobile data services and wireless networks were shut down.

There is also internet news that the CCP has sent technicians to Myanmar to help block the internet and support Myanmar to formulate a new cyber security law. A "draft" of a cybersecurity law spread on information social media, heightening the protests against the Chinese authorities against the Burmese people.

In order to block the protesters, the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar installed barbed wire railings on the road in front of the embassy.

Beginning on the 11th, in front of the Chinese Communist Embassy in Yangon, hundreds of people began to hold high slogans in Chinese and English such as "Stop helping the military coup" and "China is shameful" to protest that Beijing did not condemn the military coup in Myanmar and supported the military coup in Myanmar.

There was also a wave of protests in major cities across Myanmar. The independent English-language media "Myanmar Now" reported that the protest trend showed no signs of easing, and more and more civil servants and even police officers joined the protests.

Voice of America reported that the CCP has significant economic and strategic interests in Myanmar and often supports Myanmar’s position. After the coup in Myanmar, Western countries have condemned it. However, the CCP has an ambiguous position and only expressed the hope that the situation in Myanmar will remain stable. Some CCP official media even referred to the military takeover as "cabinet reorganization."

Self-media person Jiang Feng analyzed in the "Jiang Feng Talk" program that Myanmar is located between China and India. This geographical location is not only conducive to coping with the current conflict between China and India competing for Asian powers, Myanmar is also a political system focus between the United States and China.

He said that if the CCP wants to win a possible window period of relatively loose China policy when the US political arena changes, and may even use this window period to solve the Taiwan issue, it must be prepared to go to war with the United States. So for the CCP, the throat of the energy channel in Myanmar cannot be stuck by the United States. The geographical location of Myanmar has therefore become a strategic focus of the struggle between China and the United States.
