Air sightseeing flights of Japan and South Korea A380s

All Nippon Airways will once again launch "air sightseeing" flights during the Spring Break

All Nippon Airways announced on 3 February 2021 that it will re-launch "air sightseeing" flights using Airbus A380 models on 20 and 29 March 2021.

This is the first time in three months that ANA has once again used the Airbus A380 special coating machine "FLYING HONU" to fly from Tokyo to Honolulu, Hawaii to launch an "air sightseeing" flight. The activity will be implemented during the spring break in Japan. The plane will take off from Narita Airport in Japan. The estimated flight time is 3.5 hours.

All Nippon Airways announced, "On the plane, we will prepare unique local products for passengers and welcome them with Hawaiian-style music. In addition, we will also provide passengers with meals on the Hawaiian route with a spring-like atmosphere, desserts and drinks unique to the route."

Ticket sales on the dedicated ANA website for this flight started at 1 pm on 3 February. 

On 1 January 2021, All Nippon Airways launched a special sightseeing flight "Meeting the New Year's Sunrise", which was very popular. The special sightseeing flights that take off and land at Haneda Airport and Narita Airport take about two hours in the air. Passengers can see the horizon, Mount Fuji and the New Year’s sunrise on the plane. The airliner also prepares lunch boxes and souvenirs.

Asiana Airlines Miles can be used to purchase "A380 Overseas Air Day Tour" sightseeing products



Recently, Asiana Airlines announced that air miles can be used to purchase "A380 Overseas Air Day Tour" sightseeing products.

It is reported that "A380 Overseas Air Day Tour" is an international flight sightseeing tour product specially launched by Asiana Airlines.

The flight will depart from Incheon on 13, 14, 21 and 28 February 2021 through Busan, Miyazaki Prefecture and Jeju, before returning to Incheon.

Currently, this product can only be purchased through the reservation department of Asiana Airlines. Passengers can use 50,000 miles to buy Business Class suites and 15,000 miles to buy economy class (only for February flights). Passengers who purchase this flight can not only shop on the plane, but also shop at Incheon Airport and duty-free shops in the city.

In addition, Asiana Airlines will strictly abide by the regulations on the prevention and control of the covid epidemic, temporarily not providing in-flight meals, encouraging non-contact boarding services, and setting safe seat spacing between passengers. There are only 307 seats (originally 495 seats) available for booking. There is a separate isolation observation area in the last three rows of areas to further strengthen epidemic prevention measures.
