At a sensitive moment on the eve of the CCP’s two sessions, an explosion occurred today (February 23) in the Xicheng District of Beijing near Zhongnanhai. Related videos posted on Weibo were also rushed by the authorities for "deletion" which caused speculation.

The core government agencies such as Zhongnanhai are all located in Xicheng District, Beijing. The official Weibo of Xicheng District issued a notice on the 23rd, saying that at about 8 am that day, the "Defeng Restaurant" near Exit 1 of Xirongxian Hutong Station suddenly exploded. It is known that 2 people were injured.

The scene of the explosion was only 650 meters away from the "Xinhua Gate", the main entrance of Zhongnanhai. The live video uploaded on Weibo showed that the explosion was not small, and Chinese people heard the loud noise of the explosion.

The pictures of the scene uploaded on Weibo showed that the entire restaurant was suspected of being bombed into rubble, and firefighters were working on rescue.

The two sessions of the Chinese Communist Party will debut in early March. During this sensitive period, there was a sudden explosion near Zhongnanhai. Strangely, related videos were quickly "deleted" on Weibo, which also triggered more speculation from the outside world.

At present, the outside world can only get relevant information about the explosion accident from official channels, but the details of the number of casualties and the cause of the accident have not been officially announced.

Every year in the two sessions of the CCP, Beijing is like a big enemy. According to Hong Kong’s Ming Pao on February 22, the authorities’ preparations for the two sessions have already begun. Beijing vehicles that provide transportation services for the "two sessions" have been tested one by one, and all drivers who have been deleted and selected have been vaccinated against the Chinese Communist Party virus.

According to the report, these drivers have been registered and vaccinated since February 4. Not only that, but drivers must also receive training on fire prevention, theft prevention, terrorism prevention, riot prevention, and epidemic prevention and control.

During the two sessions, thousands of representatives from all over the world will gather in Beijing. However, affected by the CCP virus epidemic, last year the two sessions not only upgraded the stability of dissidents and key petitioners, but also upgraded the prevention and control of the epidemic.

The Beijing Hotel, Beijing Convention Center and other locations have set up sampling points for nucleic acid testing. NPC deputies and CPPCC members must report to the location when they arrive in Beijing, and then "seamlessly" undergo nucleic acid testing to confirm whether they are infected with the CCP virus.

During the meeting, the delegates were not allowed to act alone, they were all picked up by special vehicles, and they even required one person, one table to eat alone.

Xi Jinping shouted "Can't afford to lose". Analysis: Someone dug four big holes for Xi

Reporter : Li Yun / Editor: Li Quan / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/02/23/a103060181.html / Direct translation

Xi Jinping called at the fifth plenary session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection a few days ago that anti-corruption is a "political struggle that cannot be lost." The party media claimed that some corrupt elements tried to steal the party and state power. Some analysts believe that the "deep government" within the CCP has always been Xi's biggest "nightmare", and it has dug at least four big holes for Xi.

Not long ago, the CCP’s multiple departments jointly issued the “Notice on Strengthening the Supervision of the Ethics of the Change of Office”, which clearly listed the “ten prohibitions”: including the prohibition of forming parties for private gains, canvassing votes, buying or selling officials, running officials, and personal decisions. Wait.

In an interview, Lin Heli, the visiting professor of the Department of History of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, said that the CCP will issue the "Ten Bans" at the beginning of 2021, which is related to Xi's plan for the 2022 National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This is Xi Jinping's further consolidation of strength, because the average Beijing official believes that Xi will stay in office at the 20th National Congress. Xi is the core of the CCP, but he is also afraid because some officials criticize him.

At the fifth meeting of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection on January 22, Xi Jinping once raised the issue of "political corruption" as the biggest threat within the party; anti-corruption is a "political struggle that cannot be lost."

On 23 January, Xinhua News Agency published an article stating, "Political corruption is the biggest corruption. Some corrupt elements have formed interest groups in an attempt to steal the party and state power."

Some analysts believe that, to put it bluntly, someone wants to seize Xi Jinping's power. Xi has publicly stated that there are people in the party who want to seize his power, and he wants to get rid of such people by arresting "political corruption."

On 28 January, when Xi Jinping presided over a Politburo meeting, he asked the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection to strengthen anti-corruption and strengthen supervision of leading groups at all levels and key minorities, especially "top leaders."

On 2 February, the official website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection stated that in 2020, 5,836 “top leaders” at or above the county level were filed for review.

Current critic Wang Youqun wrote and analyzed that Xi launched the anti-corruption campaign in early 2013. By the end of 2018, Xi had "a landslide victory in the fight against corruption." In fact, the CCP’s anti-corruption campaign has never achieved an "overwhelming victory." Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong, the chief backstage of the CCP’s corrupt elements, are still at large. The "big tree" of corruption has not fallen, and the "hospice" has not been scattered.

Wang Youqun believes that the "deep government", "shadow government" and "Beijing Marsh" of the CCP headed by Jiang and Zeng have become Xi's biggest "nightmare". So far, they have dug at least four big holes for Xi and let Xi jump in.

One is personality worship. Praise to Xi Song's merits, blow Xi dizzy. The person who "killed" Xi was first Jiang and Zeng's cronies, and the 18th CCP Standing Committee member Liu Yunshan, now is the first Jiang and Zeng's cronies, and the 19th CCP Standing Committee member Wang Huning.

Second, in 2018, the National People's Congress of the two sessions amended the constitution and removed the term limit for the president of the state. This practice caused an uproar both at home and abroad, and the criticism has since subsided. Xi Jinping agrees with this move because he has offended too many people by fighting corruption and fighting tigers, and worried that someone would ask him to settle the ledger after he stepped down.

He is used to thinking that after the constitution is amended, he can serve for life, thereby ensuring the safety of him and his family. However, this move has little practical significance except for instigating Xi. Who made this idea? It may be Wang Huning, the most important confidant of the "deep government" who is placed next to Xi.

Third, let Xi take care of everything. If something goes wrong, it is Xi's responsibility. There are reports that Xi Jinping has more than ten titles and they are increasing, so that some people call him the universal chairman.

Wang Youqun said that after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xi Jian has more and more positions. It seems that he has the power to dominate, but he is really exhausted, so that Sino-US relations have deteriorated, Hong Kong's "one country, two systems" is destroyed, and the "one country, two systems" unity of Taiwan is in vain... Popular grievances and crises are raging. Let Xi play a good hand of cards and then put all the blame on Xi. This may be another "big hole" for Xi to dig.

Fourth, the CCP’s “deep government” has placed many cronies around Xi. Xi has been in power for more than eight years. The Beijing Garrison has replaced 7 military and political officials, 4 commanders, and 3 political commissars. Why? Xi doesn't trust anyone.

On 10 February, the Chinese Communist Party held a New Year's party meeting. Around Xi, a group of people in black were arranged to monitor various senior officials attending the meeting. Xi’s insecurities are well known throughout the world. It is foreseeable that in 2021, anti-Xi forces will still use "personal cult" and "monopoly" as an excuse to attack Xi, and Xi will continue to purge opponents in the name of anti-corruption.

Wang Youqun said that Xi said the anti-corruption "can't afford to lose," shows that Xi has realized that the danger is imminent, but he has not realized the source of the danger. The four "big pits" mentioned above are all Jiang, Zeng and his cronies. It was dug using Xi's "protecting the party" complex. If Xi continues to protect the party, he will be caught in a big pit and suffer the consequences.

Jiang Zemin is afraid of being liquidated after his death, Jiang Zhicheng's assets are transferred overseas

Reporter : Luo Tingting / Editor: Wen Hui / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/02/23/a103060153.html / Direct translation

According to US media, the Jiang Zemin family has begun to transfer assets overseas in recent years. Boyu Capital, controlled by Jiang Zemin's grandson Jiang Zhicheng, has been transferred to Singapore since 2019. According to informed sources, the Jiang family worried that after Jiang Zemin's death, his family and cronies might be liquidated by the authorities.

The Wall Street Journal quoted people familiar with the matter as disclosed on February 22 that Boyu Capital has transferred part of its business from its Hong Kong headquarters to Singapore, and its two co-founders have also moved to Singapore.

The Singapore office is Boyu’s first office outside of China. Sources say Boyu’s move to Singapore is to avoid potential adverse effects in the political struggle within the Chinese Communist Party.

Jiang Zhicheng established Boyu Capital in 2010, and he has made Jiang Zemin's name right from the beginning. In the past 10 years, Boyu Capital has transformed the political relationships owned by the Jiang family into huge commercial wealth.

It is reported that Boyu Capital’s first phase of funding (2011) came from the Hong Kong giant Li Ka-shing Foundation and Singapore’s sovereign fund Temasek.

According to the report, since the end of 2019, Boyu began to transfer capital to Singapore. At that time, the anti-fighting movement broke out in Hong Kong.

Sources said that compared with Hong Kong, Singapore provides Boyu with a greater distance to protect it from potential scrutiny or adverse actions by the Beijing authorities.

Hong Kong industrialist Yuan Gongyi once revealed that Xi Jinping's main purpose in suppressing Hong Kong was to snatch money from Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinghong and the Shanghai Gang.

Yuan Gongyi said that during Jiang Zemin's reign, Jiang sent people like Zeng Qinghong and Shanghai to control China's financial artery. The entire Guangdong and Hong Kong belonged to the Jiang family. He said that now the CCP is fighting fiercely. The elders are putting pressure on Xi, and Xi is forcing Jiang to send people to get the money back. He does not hesitate to take a heavy hand on Hong Kong and ruin the economy, but also to seize the financial power.

Jiang Zemin, 94, has served as the party leader for 13 years. Since Xi Jinping came to power in 2012, he has eliminated many Jiang Zemin's men in the name of anti-corruption, but Jiang has been hiding behind the scenes.

Huari quoted a party insider as saying, “As Xi Jinping gradually dominates, the influence of the elderly Jiang Zemin has weakened. After Jiang Zemin’s death, the power structure within the party may be further changed, making it easier for his family and cronies. Subject to cleaning".

There are already signs that Xi Jinping is putting pressure on Jiang Zemin's faction. Recently, the authorities have purged Ma Yun and the Ant Group. Outsiders believe that Xi's real intention is to beat the Jiang faction behind Ma Yun, and even tear his face to stop the listing of Ant Group.

Huari’s article on 16 February stated that an important reason for Xi Jinping’s suspension of the listing of Ant Group was to prevent princelings related to Jiang Zemin and Jia Qinglin from gaining billions of dollars in huge benefits.

According to some informed officials and government consultants, the authorities discovered that Boyu Capital of the Jiang Zemin family became one of Ant’s early investors in a roundabout way through layers of opaque channels. Xi Jinping is worried that once Ant Group is listed, its huge financial structure may cause potential financial risks.

In 2015, Jiang Zemin's faction, which controls China's financial lifeline, launched a financial coup in an attempt to bring Xi down. After that, Xi began to strengthen the supervision of the financial system.

At the Shanghai Financial Summit last October, Jack Ma publicly criticized the financial regulatory authorities, which runs counter to Xi Jinping's request to prevent financial risks. Some commentators said that Xi Jinping believes that Jack Ma, who is inextricably linked to the Jiang school, has a double heart for him, so he has purged him heavily.

In addition, according to people familiar with the matter, Tong Xiaoyao, one of Boyu's co-founders, recently obtained permanent residency in Singapore. He established a company called Boyu Capital Management (Singapore) in Singapore in November 2019 and served as the CEO.

Another founder and CEO Zhang Zixin has also moved to Singapore. According to company announcements, both Zhang Zixin and Tong Xiaoyao are Chinese citizens with permanent residency in Hong Kong, and Zhang Zixin holds a Singapore work visa.

According to people familiar with the matter, Tong Xiaoyao has met with the Economic Development Board of Singapore (Economic Development Board) to discuss the establishment of Boyu's business in Singapore. The bureau is Singapore’s government agency responsible for attracting foreign investment.

Another person familiar with the matter disclosed that Boyu is also transferring part of its Hong Kong business to its Shanghai branch. Now Jiang Zhicheng spends most of his time in Shanghai. But it is not clear how many operations Boyu will move to Singapore or Shanghai.

Beijing disbands Taishan Hui. Liu Ruishao: Like a farmer catching a field mouse

Reporter : Luo Tingting / Editor: Wen Hui / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/02/23/a103060112.html / Direct translation

China’s top wealthy club "Taishan Hui" has recently disbanded, sparking heated public opinion. Some analysts believe that this is related to the Beijing authorities' purge of China's wealthy Ma Yun. Xi Jinping is worried that political and business collusion will form a small circle and threaten his power. But this is like a farmer catching voles and digging the ground, and he will eventually dig his own grave.

Chinese private entrepreneurs formed the Taishan Industrial Research Institute in 1998, also known as the "Taishan Hui". The members are all big Chinese business leaders, including Lenovo Liu Chuanzhi, giant Shi Yuzhu and others.

The membership fee of the Taishan Hui is as high as one million RMB, and there is an internal rule: "No recording, no recording, no publicity, no leadership", so it is considered to be the most mysterious chamber of commerce in China.

However, in late January this year, the "Taishan Hui" suddenly announced its dissolution, and the cancellation procedure has been completed with the relevant departments, triggering heated public opinion.

Some analysts believe that Jack Ma, who was once a member of Mount Tai, has been turbulent recently, which has shaken the Taishan Hui. Everyone in the wealthy circle in China is in danger of becoming the next Jack Ma. The dissolution of the Taishan Hui can be said to be a wise move to protect oneself.

The Voice of Germany once quoted analysis that Xi Jinping's attack on Ma Yun was on the one hand to prevent the "financial risk" that has been emphasized over the past year, and on the other hand, it also shows that the authorities will tighten the control of private enterprises.

Hong Kong commentator Liu Ruishao believes that the sudden dissolution of Mount Tai has something to do with the Chinese Communist government, and Beijing is worried that this group of rich people may be "wealthy as an enemy country" and threaten the Chinese Communist regime. Therefore, the Taishan Hui took the initiative to disband, to show that "I have no threat."

Liu Ruishao said that the CCP’s move is like a farmer who digs up the land in order to catch voles, but rots the original crops in the land, and will eventually "dig his own grave."

Current affairs commentator Sangpu believes that the "Taishan Hui" is an organization that can only be joined by the powerful. The "Xishan Hui" planned by the former United Front Work Department Minister of the Communist Party of China was disbanded. ".

He said that the CCP only allows the Seven Standing Committee members to be the "only fraternity in China", and of course none of the Regal Club can stay.

In addition to the "Taishan Hui", the "Moutai Hui" of the Chinese Communist Party's powerful club has also recently entered the line of public opinion. "Moutai Club" was founded by Li Botan, the son-in-law of Jia Qinglin, a former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China. This is a private club located near the Forbidden City in Beijing.

The Wall Street Journal disclosed on February 16 that the interests of Jack Ma and the princelings behind Ant Group, alleging that Li Botan and Jiang Zemin’s grandson Jiang Zhicheng both secretly held shares in Ant Group, which aroused Xi Jinping’s vigilance.

According to informed officials and government consultants, a few weeks before Ant Financial’s plan to go public, an undisclosed central government investigation found that “under the opaque investment relationship behind the company’s equity, there is a close relationship. The small circle of power figures in China (the Chinese Communist Party) is related to some political families. "These families pose a potential challenge to Xi Jinping and his inner circle.

According to the report, Xi Jinping is worried that Ant Financial will increase risks to the financial system, and is angry at his founder Jack Ma’s criticism of financial regulation. As early as 2015, the Jiang faction launched a financial coup in an attempt to bring Xi down.

Although Xi Jinping has purged Jiang Zemin’s opposition forces through the anti-corruption campaign since he came to power at the end of 2012, many of Jiang Zemin’s associates have been eliminated, but Jiang has always been behind the scenes. Xi Jinping regards secret activities such as the Maotai Hui that gather powers and dignitaries as harmful.

According to people familiar with the matter, Xi Jinping once told officials at an internal meeting, "You people died either on the wine table or on the bed."
