Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan'an apologized for the 2.28 incident yesterday as the mayor. In the middle of his speech, members of the Taiwan independence faction protested and shouted "murderer"; At the event, they seemed to empathize with each other but avoided the great-grandson of Chiang Kai-shek. Chiang Kai-shek has not been buried so far but the burial of the floating coffin and the dismantling of the bronze statue is the real apology. Chiang Wan'an was accused of violating funeral management regulations.

Chen Junhan, chairman of the Taiwan Council, said today that Chiang Kai-shek's floating coffin has been temporarily placed by the lakeside of Cihu Lake, and has not yet been buried. The Republic of China government has to allocate a large amount of budget for maintenance every year, which is a waste of public money. In the past, no one reported it. Chiang Wan'an was accused of violating the funeral management regulations regarding the failure to bury him.

Taiwan’s statement today pointed out that at the 228 memorial event held in Taipei on 28 February, Chiang Wan’an listened carefully and verbally admitted his mistakes as the mayor. The bronze statue symbolizing the mark of the massacre was removed but when the victims pursued the truth, some people in the blue camp (Kuomintang) said it was manipulating hatred, which is really deceiving.

The statement also mentioned that according to the current laws and regulations, separate auditoriums and mourning halls are not allowed to handle corpses or hold coffins and funeral ceremonies; except for funerals and sacrifice ceremonies on the day of funerals, coffins of corpses are not allowed to be parked. Floating coffins are obviously illegal. For many years, Chiang Wanan was accused of violating the funeral management regulations.

Chiang Kai-shek passed away on the night of Ching Ming Festival, 5 April 1975; he hoped that he would be buried near the Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen, the founding father in Nanjing, China after his death. Therefore, his descendants still maintain the state of "floating coffin", and the coffin is "temporarily housed" in Taoyuan. It has been 48 years since he has not yet been buried at the Cihu Mausoleum in Daxi District.

Chiang Wan'an made a mistake. 228 National Memorial Hall: Tobacco is not the main cause of the incident

Taipei Mayor Chiang Wanan said in his speech at the 228 incident commemoration held by the Taipei City Hall, "As the mayor of Taipei, I am deeply sorry for the arrests that occurred near the Tianma Teahouse in Dadaocheng, Taipei City 76 years ago. The tobacco incident, which in turn caused the historical pain of the 228 incident in Taiwan, I would like to extend my sincere apology." In this regard, the February 28 National Memorial Hall issued a document to emphasize that the February 28 incident was not a Taiwan-wide conflict caused by the anti-tobaaco incident near the Tianma teahouse!

The February 28 National Memorial Hall pointed out that the Tianma teahouse anti-smoking incident was not the main cause of the February 28 incident. We must correct a notion that the anti-smoking incident at the Tianma teahouse was not the main cause of the February 28 incident. The background and reasons for the February 28 incident are quite complicated.

First, the specialization of the executive office system. Since the chief executive has the powers of administration, legislation, judiciary, and even personnel and supervision, he has the power to be exclusive and arbitrary in Taiwan. In addition, he also serves as the commander-in-chief of Taiwan's entire province's security, which has formed a specialization of centralized military and political power. After the promulgation of the system, many Taiwanese people were disappointed. During the implementation of the system in Taiwan, there were constant suggestions from high-level government officials to abolish the executive office and restore the provincial government system.

Second, political monopoly and reception disadvantages. At that time, Chinese people monopolized important middle and high-level positions in the government, as well as various receiving malpractices such as attracting relatives, engaging in selfishness, corruption, and breaking the law, were also important reasons for the February 28 incident.

The third is economic control and the hardship of people's livelihood. Chen Yi and her receiving group adopted economic control policies, that is, material control, financial monopoly, and goods monopoly. However, the consequences resulted in unemployment and hunger for the people.

The fourth is social unrest and cultural barriers. Due to the corrupt discipline and arrogance of some military and police officers who came to Taiwan, coupled with the cultural barriers with the Taiwanese people, they caused conflicts and confrontations between them, deteriorating social order, and riots emerged one after another.

The 228 National Memorial Hall mentioned that in the afternoon of 27 February1947, the anti-tobacco incident at the Tianma Tea House was the fuse that sparked a long-standing grievance among the people and sparked a rebound of public grievances. After the Tianma teahouse anti-smoking incident broke out in Taipei, the originally simple and uncontested Taiwanese people rose up one after another, and various resistance actions or conflicts continued to occur all over Taiwan.

Observing the conflicts and resistances in various places, it can be found that most of the resistance actions are against the corruption of government agencies, and then surround and occupy local government units, beat up people, or receive weapons and materials from police stations, police stations, barracks and arsenals.

There have also been many street bloody clashes over provincial resentments. After the uprising and conflict broke out, the government immediately launched a series of suppression and purge actions. Due to the large number of troops stationed in Kaohsiung at that time, although there were public resistance actions, they did not receive a positive official response. Instead, they suffered strong military suppression and became the most tragic and bloody victim of the 228 incident.

The 228 National Memorial Hall emphasizes that Chen Yi sent the "Yin Donghai Parental Telegram" on 2 March 1947. At that time, the Chief Executive Chen Yi telegraphed Chiang Kai-shek, asking Chen Cheng, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense, to quickly transfer high-quality infantry to Taiwan. Chen Yi's telegram mentioned "at least send a delegation to Taiwan first, so that the traitors can be wiped out and the worries of Jun Zuo Nan Gu can be relieved."

Three days later, on 5 March, Chiang Kai-shek sent troops to reply to Chen Yi, "A regiment of infantry and a battalion of gendarmerie have been dispatched, and they are only allowed to depart from Shanghai on the 7th of this month. Don't read it. Zhongzheng."

On 8 March, Chiang Kai-shek's reorganized 21st Division arrived in Taiwan and landed in Keelung. Chen Yi immediately declared martial law across Taiwan. During the large-scale implementation of the so-called "appeasement" and "village clearing" in Taiwan and Penghu, due to the temporary formation of resistance forces in various places without training, and the scattered resistance forces, the meager force is not enough to fight against the well-equipped Therefore, except for the short-term resistance in the south-central region, the entire "appeasement" plan was completed on schedule.

The 228 National Memorial Hall directly pointed out that during the period of "appeasement" and "cleaning the countryside", there were rumors that many local people were threatened, blackmailed, framed in secret letters, or retaliated and assassinated due to personal grievances or factional entanglements; When the military and police suppressed and raided, they were killed by innocent people and became the souls of the gunmen.

The February 28th National Memorial Museum stated that the February 28th incident not only included the Tianma Teahouse anti-smoking incident on 27 February but also the shooting incident at the Chief Executive's Office on 28 February, the Kaohsiung Massacre on 6 March, and the Keelung Massacre on 8 March. The massacre, the March 11 Badu station incident, and the March peace envoy who negotiated in front of the Chiayi station were shot dead. The truth of history is waiting for us to know, face and discover.

At the 228 commemorative meeting today, Taipei Mayor Jiang Wanan, as the mayor, responded to "the anti-tobacco incident that happened 76 years ago near the Tianma tea house in Dadaocheng, Taipei City, which led to the history of the 228 incident in Taiwan. I sincerely apologize for the pain.” During the interview, he reiterated that in addition to apologizing for the anti-smoking incident, he will also face it calmly, hoping to release more historical materials, restore the truth, and continue to heal the scars to achieve social harmony. On Chiang Wan'an apologizing as a "descendant of the Jiang family", he jumped the needle and said that, as the mayor, he would like to sincerely apologize for the anti-tobacco incident.

Jiang Wanan apologized for the 228 incident as the mayor of Taipei today. In an interview after the meeting, he said that every historical event should not stop at a certain stage, "Former presidents Lee Teng-hui and Ma Ying-jeou both took responsibility for the government’s crimes in the 228 incident as heads of state. I made a mistake and apologized, and both of them were the mayors of Taipei. Both of them deeply felt the pain of the citizens of Taipei and the people of Taiwan. Therefore, as the mayor of Taipei, I deeply regret the anti-tobacco arrest that occurred near the Tianma Teahouse in Dadaocheng, Taipei 76 years ago. Apologizing for the incident, anyone in power should take this as a lesson.

Chiang Wanan said that these days, under the assistance of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, he met with the families of the 228 victims and listened to relevant voices. Some family members expressed that they have not been properly rehabilitated. Therefore, the Taipei City Government will try its best to seek new evidence to appease the family members, including the hearts of the dead and the grief of the living hope that by finding more historical materials to publish, restore the truth, and continue to heal the scars to achieve the goal of social harmony.

When asked whether to apologize as a "Chiang family descendant", Chiang Wan'an jumped the needle again and said that several presidents in the past were mayors of Taipei and he sincere apologized for the incident.

The central commemorative event for the 76th anniversary of the 228 incident was held at the 228 Memorial Park in Tainan. When President Tsai Ing-wen attended the speech, she mentioned that when Vice President Lai Ching-te was the mayor of Tainan, 13 March the day of the martyrdom of lawyer Tang Dezhang was designated as "Tainan City Justice and Courage Memorial Day", and the "Tainan City 228 Memorial Hall" was completed during Mayor Huang Weizhe's term of office. The local promotion of transformational justice is of special significance.

Tsai Ing-wen said that when Vice President Lai Ching-te was the mayor of Tainan, he designated the martyrdom day of lawyer Tang Dezhang on March 13 as "Tainan City Justice and Courage Memorial Day." The justice and courage of the predecessors is of epochal significance, leading Taiwan to continue to pursue justice and democracy, and to face the challenges of the new era.

Tsai Ing-wen also mentioned that in 2021, the former residence of Tang Dezhang was facing a crisis of being demolished. The opening of the 228 Memorial Hall allows future generations to understand the deeds of many predecessors such as lawyer Tang Dezhang and prosecutor Wang Yulin. The suffering predecessors used their lives to draw the bottom line of social fairness, justice, democracy and freedom in Taiwan, reminding that "we must never make mistakes again." The 228 Memorial Park Monument symbol is a broken tripod, which represents the injured people. The opposite of the monument is the Tainan City Government, which can remind the government not to forget the lessons of history.

Wang Keshao, who delivered a speech on behalf of the families of the victims, said that when his father Wang Yulin was a prosecutor in Hsinchu, he upheld justice and strictly punished collusion between officials and businessmen, but he offended the authoritarian Nationalist government. On 14 March,, his father was forcibly taken away by soldiers. It is heartbreaking to hear that he was tortured and died without knowing when and where!

Wang Keshao said that the 228 archives of the "Fuchen Project" only have the sending unit and the receiving unit. Most of the inside pages are pseudonyms. Many of them were destroyed in the list of murdered in Taiwan. He hopes that the Tsai Ing-wen government can continue to investigate and hope that "God has eyes" , the bloody history of the pioneers of democracy, one day they will be able to see the light of day again, so as to awaken generations of future generations to cherish and love this land even more.

Wang Keshao also called on Taiwan's history education to take root. The first local doctor of education in Taiwan, Professor Lin Maosheng, died on 11 March and the day was designated as "Taiwan Teachers' Day". He said, "We must look forward," sticking to Formosa, the democratic treasure island recognized by the whole world.

New Taipei City Mayor Hou Youyi delivered a speech at the 228 commemorative event, saying that he decided to enter politics on 228 five years ago, with the purpose of pursuing "social fairness, cross-strait peace, and national peace" and "people's peace of mind" for the people of Taiwan. , social stability, and national security" 3 security. The media asked if he was making a statement for 2024. Hou Youyi said that he hopes that everyone can put national interests before party and personal interests, and that Taiwan will be better if everyone works together.

Hou Youyi went to Sanchong 228 Peace Memorial Park today to participate in the commemoration of the 76th anniversary of the 228 incident. In his speech, he pointed out that the political chaos in Taiwan in the past few years, when everyone is fighting politics, color, confrontation and conflict, we can’t see hope and future , "Did everyone forget the historical lessons of 228? Isn't the 228 incident enough?"

Hou Youyi said that he chose a different path five years ago. He came out for elections, worked for the country and the people, and put national interests before parties and individuals. Taiwan is a family. Everyone should respect each other, let go of confrontation and conflict, and let everyone share diversity. For the common good, get out of the different pattern, work hard to develop the spirit of Taiwan, find the pure and brave power of Taiwan, and let Taiwan move forward.

Hou Youyi pointed out that Taiwan is currently facing problems such as low wages, high prices, and shortage of workers and materials. Facing the treacherous and ever-changing external situation, use kindness, understanding, tolerance and care to give the people 3 peace of mind, "people's peace of mind, social stability, and national security", so that everyone can respond to challenges and face the future. Start with love and move forward bravely.

After the event, the media asked Hou Youyi. In his speech, he mentioned that 228 decided to go into politics five years ago. Does that mean that 228 decided to run for president five years later? Hou Youyi said that five years ago today, he decided to enter politics with confidence and ideals. This is also why he did not forget his original intention when he joined the police force. The most important thing is to put the interests of the country and the people before parties and individuals.

He said that only when the country can be united and harmonious, and each other should remember the lessons of the 228 history, there is no need for conflicts and confrontations, put aside all prejudices, and work together, Taiwan will be better, and the Republic of China will be stronger, so that With such an attitude, we all work together. He believes that in the face of all the current harsh environments, the land of Taiwan, the Republic of China, can be full of confidence.

The media also asked, the proposal of "three peaces and three safety" seems to be the pattern of the president? Hou Youyi responded that he hoped that the country would be better, so the only thing we can do is to unite for common prosperity and common good. The "three levels" means to help the people solve problems in the face of all the low wages, commodity prices, lack of water and electricity, and let the social fairness, cross-strait peace, and national peace be the prevailing attitudes everyone should have. We must also allow the people to feel at ease, social stability, and national security in the face of international shocks. This is every politician and every government responsibility that should be shouldered.

Nikkei: 90% of Taiwan's retired military officers provide CCP with intelligence information, and there are many spies in the army

Nihon Keizai Shimbun started a series of special topics from 28 February 2023 under the title "Taiwan's Unknown True Face". It reported Taiwan's retired military officers went to China to provide information on the national army in exchange for money. Corruption has become the norm. "Taiwan's biggest problem at present is that there are many spies assisting CCP in the national army."

After Russia invaded Ukraine, Japan's concern for Taiwan's situation has greatly increased. Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's statement that "whatever happens to Taiwan means what happens to Japan" has almost become the consensus of the entire Japanese people. The proportion of Japanese media reporting on Taiwan's current situation has increased, but it is rare for Nikkei to go deep into Taiwan's scene and systematically sort out Taiwan's internal details.

Nikkei's live report column "Hakushin" serialized "Taiwan's Unknown True Face" from 28 February 2023. The first article reported on the blind spots lurking in the Taiwan military. Today's second article mentioned the grim situation of China using agents to manipulate Taiwan's public opinion. , Each article has a sense of pertinence that hits the point.

In the part about espionage of retired military officers in Taiwan, a retired military officer in his 50s under the pseudonym Zheng Zongxian appeared in the report. He served in the army in the 2010s and ran a restaurant in China after retiring. However, after Zheng left the army, the information he could provide became less and less, and his use value became less and less. However, Zheng still told the Nikkei, "Even so, I still like China and have no resentment."

The report pointed out that in Taiwan's army of 170,000 people, officers and other cadres are still mostly "outsiders", and the successive ministers of defense have been almost monopolized by outsiders. Military sources pointed out that this kind of army is simply unable to fight against CCP China when there is an emergency. Up to 90% of Taiwan military officers go to CCP China after retiring to provide information on the national army in exchange for money. Corruption has become the norm, and Zheng is just one of them. .

The report also mentioned that Taiwan’s retired generals and former legislators were involved in many cases of espionage. A retired army said that there are still many spies in the army assisting CCP. This is Taiwan’s biggest problem at present. The United States has long cautiously approached arms sales and aid is also due to concerns about the flow of intelligence to China.

Taiwanese military experts also pointed out that since President Tsai Ing-wen took office seven years ago, she has embarked on the reform of the national military and adopted a tough attitude towards China. In the past year, she has inspected the military nearly 30 times, but the military has always maintained attitude of resistance to Tsai’s reform plan. The expert added that "Tsai Ing-wen failed to control the military".

The report also mentioned Taiwan's day-to-day territorial conflicts with the Senkaku Islands (Diaoyutai Islands). In 2008, Liu Zhaoxuan, the executive director of the Ma Ying-jeou government, also said that war with Japan would not be ruled out. Military experts also mentioned that Taiwan’s army used the Kuomintang army to fight against Japan in China in the past. Even if something happens to Taiwan, can the Taiwan army really join forces with Japan to defend the country?

The conclusion of the report stated that Taiwan still has many problems, and the situation is becoming more and more tense every day.

Refuting the report that "the military has many Chinese Communist Party spies", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked the Nikkei for clarification

"Nihon Keizai Shimbun" recently reported that as many as 90% of Taiwanese military officers went to China after retiring from the military. In addition, corruption in exchange for information for money has become the norm. Such an army cannot fight against the People's Liberation Arny in an emergency. The Republic of China Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on 2 March 2023 that the report cited an unidentified source and had asked the newspaper for serious clarification.

"Nihon Keizai Shimbun" started a serial report titled "Taiwan's Unknown True Face" since 28 February. The first report pointed out that as many as 90% of retired military officers went to China, and there was corruption in exchange for information, and even Taiwan's military officers and other cadres in China are still mostly "from other provinces", and the successive ministers of defense have almost been monopolized by people from other provinces.

Regarding the Nikkei news report, the Ministry of National Defense responded late last night. The relevant report was fabricated out of thin air, and without verification, it used sensational headlines to slander the integrity of the national army officers and soldiers and divide the unity of the troops, peace and stability.

The Republic of China Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated on 2 March 2023 that "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" quoted an unknown source and questioned the loyalty of Taiwan's national army to defend the Republic of China. The government's stance is consistent as a whole, and false news cannot be allowed to spread and mislead the public. Regarding the report, the Republic of China Ministry of Foreign Affairs has asked the representative office in Japan to express its deep regret for the report that the newspaper did not verify in detail, and asked the newspaper to make a solemn clarification.

Japanese media said that Taiwan's retired military officers have many spies. Li Zhongxian retorted: Most soldiers are not so stupid!

Recently, Japanese media claimed that as many as 90% of retired military officers in Taiwan are communist spies, which caused an uproar in our society. In this regard, Li Zhongxian, a professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering of Cheng Kung University, said on 2 March that this news is in the hands of the CCP, which is to make Taiwan society divided, mutual suspicion, and unable to unite against the CCP.

Nikkei Keizai Shimbun recently published a report titled "Taiwan's Unknown True Face", claiming that as many as 90% of retired military officers in Taiwan secretly provide CCP intelligence in exchange for money, and corruption has become the norm. After the news was exposed, it aroused public opinion in Taiwan. The Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Presidential Office all jumped out to denounce the report as untrue and asked the Nikkei to clarify.

Li Zhongxian said through Facebook, "Based on my experience interacting with the military, President Tsai has spent a lot of effort on the military. The degree of exaggeration in this news may basically cause the effect of disinformation (rumours) and divide the military, question the relationship with the people. Many people ridiculed Wu Sihuai’s denial. I believe that the older generation is more likely, but many middle-aged people are still very clear about the situation in Taiwan.”

He went on to say, "Some of my students and colleagues are from the military background. Everyone works hard for the information security plan. They also feel that Tsai Ing-wen attaches great importance to the military. Such a way of completely negating it, think about it carefully. Fair enough, and distrusting the military is not the right thing to do. Those who are retired, old, loud, basically have a special purpose, most of the military can't run, and they're not stupid enough to be like this. I think the comment made by a friend on this matter is very good, "The CCP is the best at blackmailing, and it is best for you to divide and quarrel."

CCP China is doing everything it can to fight the united front against Taiwan. Its official "Xuexin.com" recently released a message stating that Taiwanese high school graduates can apply for Chinese universities based on academic test scores, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, etc. More than 400 schools in 26 provinces and cities. After the news was disclosed on Weibo, Chinese netizens "turned over", ridiculed and cursed everywhere, shouting for "naturalization in Taiwan". The Mainland Affairs Council of the Republic of China warned that the "preferential measures" provided by the CCP to young students have political purposes and united front intentions, and should be carefully evaluated.

The official account of China Xuexin.com released a message on 28 February 2023, stating that starting from 1 March, Taiwanese high school graduates can apply for universities in China based on the academic test results of the year. In 2023, online applications will be opened, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Sun Yat-sen University, Xiamen University and more than 400 universities in 26 provinces and cities. Qualifications are Taiwan residents who hold a "Residence Permit for Taiwan Residents" or "Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents" and a valid identity certificate residing in Taiwan. All high school graduates can apply.

Although the message mentioned the registration time and qualifications, and also mentioned "applying for the exam", the announced process did not include "written exams" or "interviews" customized by the universities.

Netizens on Weibo heatedly discussed this, and most expressed their dissatisfaction, thinking it was "unfair" and saying, "It's too kneeling, how much effort do mainland students have to put in to go to these schools", "Whoever has children doesn't want to give their children the whole "Taiwanese identity", "Hurry up to naturalize in Taiwan if you have not taken the test", "Is this encouraging naturalization", "How important it is to cast a good baby", and some people scolded "Everything can be negotiated and changed for the sake of the regime", "Take our precious resources are used as benefits, bait, or materials for bribes", "Is there any use in favoring this and that every day? No."

At present, BA.5, BQ.1, XBB.1.5 and their derivative variants are mostly in the Western Pacific, Europe and America respectively, and there are co-circulation of different types of variants in most countries. The WHO stated that BQ.1, BQ.1.1, BF.7, BA.2.75.2, CH.1.1, XBB and XBF and other mutant strains have better transmission and adaptability, and they must continue to be closely monitored. Existing evidence shows that they can cause serious diseases. The virus has not increased significantly, and will continue to closely monitor the evolution and prevalence of international virus strains.

The command center emphasized that according to existing research, vaccination with next-generation vaccine supplements is still protective against emerging mutant strains such as BQ.1, BF.7, and XBB, and can reduce the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, or death caused by infection with covid. The public is requested to complete the vaccination as soon as possible, and implement personal epidemic prevention measures such as frequent hand washing and wearing masks to gain protection.

The local covid epidemic has finally seen its end! Wang Bisheng, the commander of the Central Epidemic Command Center, explained today that there will be three stages of unblocking progress. The first step is to "exempt confirmed patients from isolation" this month, the second step is to relax hospital control in April, and the third step is May when it is likely to change the status of covid from the fifth category of infectious disease to the fourth category. "At that time, the command center may be downgraded or disbanded."

The anti-epidemic measures have gradually been relaxed. On 6 March, the campus will be exempt from wearing masks. Wang Bisheng explained at the epidemic press conference today that there will be three phases of measures in the future. The first is the community. The measures to isolate the confirmed cases will be lifted, that is, mild cases will be exempted from notification, and only severe cases will need to be notified. This may happen this month first.

Wang Bisheng said that the second stage is the relaxation of infection control in medical institutions, including the adjustment of special wards and the relaxation of infection control measures. The time point may be in April. The third stage is to change covid from the fifth category of legal infectious disease to the fourth category. At this time, the command center will be downgraded or disbanded. At present, the command center is opened at the first level. If it is downgraded, it will be opened at the second or third level in sequence. The time point is expected to be in May.

Wang Bisheng said that he will first observe the epidemic situation after the relaxation of campus masks on the 6th of this month, and there will be a buffer time before entering the next stage of relaxation of control. There is a certain time basis for downgrading and reclassification, such as the World Health Organization (WHO) will discuss whether to continue PHEIC (Public Health Emergency of International Concern) at the end of April, and the United States will also announce some relaxation measures in May, "It is the same time for us, these have been discussed for a long time up."

However, Wang Bisheng also mentioned that regardless of the trend of the epidemic and whether the command center is downgraded or disbanded, the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases still needs to be amended to link up with the special regulations on the epidemic. He hopes that the discussions in the Legislative Yuan will go smoothly and the amendment will be successful.

2 keypox outbreaks in the north and the south! National Taiwan University doctor warns of "fear of gathering": lurking in more than 2 areas

For the first time in the Republic of China, there were two local cases of keypox (short for monkeypox), one in Hsinchu and one in Kaohsiung; experts unanimously admitted that an invisible transmission chain may have appeared in the community. In this regard, National Taiwan University doctor Huang Limin also warned that there will not be only one infection, and there may already be clusters. He reminded that the infection route must be clarified first. If there is no connection between the two local cases, it means that the virus is at least lurking in the 2 regions or more.

Huang Limin, director of National Taiwan University Children's Hospital, said that after infection with monkeypox virus, blisters will appear on the skin, and the blisters contain monkeypox virus, which will be transmitted through skin contact or indirect contact, such as bed sheets and toilet products. However, most infections still occur in the intimate contact stage, especially sexual behavior, requires longer contact time and shorter distances, and does not require a wound for infection to occur. Under continuous contact, the virus can invade through the mucous membrane.

Huang Limin speculated that if the two local cases are not related, it means that each has a source of infection, indicating that the virus is lurking in at least two regions or more. He bluntly said that the high-risk group of monkeypox at this stage is gay men, so it is necessary to let specific groups know that monkeypox virus transmission has occurred in the local area, and they must be vigilant and take preventive measures, in order to reduce the transmission rate.

Luo Yijun, deputy director of the CDC, said that an expert meeting is held on 2 March, and experts will discuss it. It is open to use intradermal injection of monkeypox vaccine, so that 0.1CC can reach 0.5CC subcutaneous efficacy, making the vaccine more effective.

In this regard, Huang Limin believes that the monkeypox vaccine is only an auxiliary short-term role, and the most important thing is health education and epidemic prevention. Sometimes there are very few blisters infected with keypox, and even the person concerned does not pay attention to it. At this time, the risk is very high. Everyone must understand the health status of the contact person, and at the same time be alert to signs of symptoms such as blisters. If there are high-density contacts or people around are infected with keypox, experts will recommend vaccination, but generally speaking, they will not recommend comprehensive vaccination.

"Some people infected with monkeypox don't notice the blisters on their bodies, or they know they have blisters but don't realize it might be monkeypox," Huang Limin reminded everyone to be vigilant. Crisis awareness is crucial to epidemic prevention.

Dynamic clearing again? Hohhot spent 80 million to build a "permanent square cabin"

又要清零? 呼和浩特斥资8千万建“永久方舱”

An outbreak in many places in China, dubbed the "influeza A" by the official media, has caused people to worry about whether to cover up another covid wave of the CCP virus (Covid-19). Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, suddenly spent a huge amount of money to build a "permanent square cabin", which aroused even more doubts.

On 27 February 2023, the Hohhot Public Resources Trading Service Platform released a tender announcement titled "Hohhot Permanent Shelter Hospital Construction Project (Construction Bid Section)", which attracted heated discussions among netizens.

According to the announcement, the project has been filed at the Hohhot Construction Engineering Quality and Safety Center. The bidder is the Hohhot Municipal Health Commission. All the funds required for the project come from government investment, with a planned total investment of 79.9646 million RMB. The project has already met the bidding conditions and is conducting public bidding.

The announcement shows that the construction site of the "permanent square cabin hospital" is south of the third and fourth railway lines of Huangheshao Town, Hohhot City, and west of County Road 004, with a total construction area of 15,375.16 square meters and 868 beds.

The announcement also stated that the construction content of the project includes isolation rooms and security rooms. The isolation rooms include isolation areas, nurse stations, rest rooms, treatment rooms, registration rooms, etc., and the security rooms include management rooms, waste disposal facilities, etc. Temporary storage room, warehouse, clean passage, etc. In addition, it also includes outdoor ancillary works, etc.

After the CCP abandoned the "dynamic clearing", isolation shelters in many places have become a "past tense". Hohhot suddenly invited bids for the construction of a large "permanent square cabin", causing public concern.

The CCP’s epidemic prevention policy has always been contradictory, changing three times a day. Some netizens questioned, is it possible that "dynamic clearing seals" will make a comeback again?

In this regard, a staff member of the Hohhot Municipal Health Commission responded that this is a "normal bidding announcement". The official answer in this way has aggravated the suspicion of the outside world.

This announcement has now been deleted but relevant public opinion is still fermenting.

Hohhot was one of the hardest-hit areas of the epidemic last year. At that time, the local government also adopted a brutal isolation and containment policy. A video of a woman crying in the arms of her mother who fell from a building in the city once went viral.

At the end of last year, the CCP suddenly abandoned "dynamic clearing" and switched to an epidemic prevention policy that was ridiculed as "everything should be infected and everyone that should die should die", trying to create a barrier of "herd immunity" by accelerating the spread and restore the economy as soon as possible. However, as of today, the Chinese economy does not seem to have seen any obvious signs of "recovery", but continues to decline rapidly. There was a lot of wailing on the Internet, and there were many videos complaining about business bankruptcy, layoffs, and job losses.

At the same time, a large plague officially called "influenza A" broke out in many places in China. Many people suspect that the symptoms of this wave of so-called "influenza A" are similar to the covid virus infection, and that the authorities may use this to cover up the new wave of covid epidemic. The CCP has just declared "decisive victory in the fight against the epidemic", so it is naturally unwilling to see another outbreak of the epidemic at this time.

The Chinese Communist Party officially declared that this round of the pandemic is mixed with the covid virus, influenza A virus and norovirus. Diarrhoea is also a typical symptom of the covi variant XBB.

A few days ago, the CCP's official media claimed that "nucleic acid testing can also detect influenza A virus", "influenza A can also cause white lung", etc., which is even more worrying about whether the so-called "influenza A virus" claimed by the CCP is a variant of the covid virus.

Regarding this, Chiang Wanan only said that he is now working hard. Municipal, this is also the direction of the municipal team's efforts.

Jiang Wan'an's recent municipal policies include increasing childbirth incentives, adding NT$1,000  to public child care subsidies for children aged 0 to 2 in Beishi, piloting the withdrawal of motorcycles from sidewalks in Beishi in March, resuming the payment of NT$1,500  in pensions for the elderly, and lowering the threshold for accepting public office shifts. Medical care in many places in China collapsed again, the public: it is obviously covid and CCP will not admit it

Reporter : Zhou Guihang / Editor : Xu Gengwen / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/03/03/a103661480.htmlImage : From the end of February to the beginning of March 2023, hospitals in many places in China are full. (Internet video screenshot)

中国多地医疗再次崩溃 民众:明明是新冠就不承认

Another round of plague broke out in China, hospitals in many places were full again, and the number of patients in Beijing was close to the peak of the epidemic last year. The CCP declared that it was a "flu outbreak", but more and more people doubted whether it was a new wave of the covid epidemic.

The so-called "flu epidemic" claimed by the CCP continues to spread. Recently, a large number of videos have been uploaded on the Internet showing that fever clinics in hospitals in many places are full, including Beijing, Changchun, Jinan, Tianjin, Xi'an, etc. Some hospitals are still crowded with people in the middle of the night. Many of the videos were shown in Children's Hospital, and some people think it may be related to the cluster infection caused by students returning to school after the New Year.

There is also a doctor in a hospital in a certain place made a video and broke the news that the fever clinic is already overwhelmed, and the heart room where he works has also begun to receive patients with fever.

Sina.com reported on 2 March that the fever clinics in many cities have been quiet for more than a month, and the epidemic peaks again, and the waiting areas are overcrowded. A doctor in the fever clinic of a tertiary hospital in Beijing complained that patients couldn’t finish reading during the day, and they could see the dawn after taking over at night. Now I really can't see it, so I can only look at children, the elderly, pregnant women and high-risk patients with underlying diseases. Patients with mild symptoms and no high-risk factors have to be encouraged to isolate at home and treat symptoms.

The doctor said that the number of outpatient visits last week was less than 100, but this week there was a sudden increase. On the 1st, there were more than 500 outpatients. At the peak of the covid virus (CCP virus, covi) last year, the number of daily outpatient visits was about 600.

A respiratory physician at a tertiary hospital in Shanghai also said that although the tension is not as tense as before, the number of visits to fever clinics has increased by four or five times.

The symptoms of the "flu" claimed by the CCP are very similar to those of the CCP virus, all of which are fever, body aches and so on. Officials also said that "influenza A" is mixed with "Norovirus" that causes diarrhoea, but diarrhoea is also a typical symptom of the XBB variant of covi.

At the same time, the "operational" procedures of hospitals across the mainland have also made the public more and more suspicious of whether this outbreak is another wave of the covid epidemic, which was just deliberately covered up by the authorities.

On 2 March, a video of patients queuing up in the courtyard of Beijing Children's Hospital at night was circulated on the Internet. A netizen who broke the news said, "The later the night, the more people there will be. As long as you have a fever (hospital), you will be diagnosed and treated as influenza (flu)."

Another Xi'an netizen posted a picture of the city's children's hospital suddenly being overcrowded, saying that the symptoms of this wave of "flu" are very similar to those of covid, including fever, body aches, and dry cough. As a result, many local netizens commented that it was simply a variant of covid but the officials refused to admit it. Another netizen left a message: "I went to (hospital) yesterday and did a routine blood test and said it was a virus infection. When I asked if it was influenza A or something, the doctor smiled and said nothing, and prescribed oseltamivir directly."

On overseas Twitter, many Chinese netizens who suspected of overcoming the firewall said that this is another wave of the CCP virus epidemic. Some netizens said: "In fact, it is the second yang, and my colleague has it." Another netizen said: "Of course it is covid, it goes without saying."

The CCP has just boasted of "decisive victory" in the fight against the epidemic, and is currently at a sensitive moment before the "two sessions" of the CCP and the change of government. Authorities are accused of having strong incentives to cover up another outbreak of the CCP virus.

It is reported that the "two sessions" of the CCP still adopt "closed-loop management" and the epidemic prevention measures are very strict. Netizens ridiculed, "Isn't it already "victory", why are you still so nervous?"
