中国首现4类变异毒株 当局急推疫苗惹质疑

A few days ago, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Communist Party of China reported that 34 cases of local variant strains of special concern were newly discovered in the mainland, of which 4 types were discovered for the first time. In addition, the CCP approved the first domestically produced mRNA vaccine for emergency use in China, which also aroused doubts from the outside world.

In the evening of 25 March 2023, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention released the "National Novel Coronavirus (CCP Virus, Covi) Infection Epidemic Situation". According to the report, from March 17 to March 23, 34 cases of local key mutant strains were newly discovered, including 2 cases of BQ.1.2, 1 case of CH.1.1, 1 case of CH.1.1.1, 1 case of EA.1, 4 cases of XBB.1, 9 cases of XBB.1.5, 15 cases of XBB.1.9.1, 1 case of XBB.2.3.

Among them, CH.1.1, CH.1.1.1, EA.1 and XBB.2.3 are discovered for the first time.

From 26 September 2022 to 23 March 2023, the mainland reported a total of 35,513 local cases of the effective genome sequence of covi, all of which are mutant strains of Omicron, with a total of 113 evolutionary branches, and the main epidemic strain is BA. 5.2.48 (45.4%), BF.7.14 (24.3%), BA.5.2.49 (9.6%) and DY.1 (8.5%). The constituent ratios of 26 evolutionary branches such as BF.7.14.1 were between 0.1% and 3.0%.

Among them, BF.7 and subclades were dominant strains in Beijing, Inner Mongolia and Tianjin; BA.5.2 and subclades were dominant strains in other provinces.

Recently, China's first mRNA COVID-19 vaccine was approved and included in emergency use in China.

On 22 March 2023, China CSPC announced that the self-developed mRNA vaccine (SYS6006) was approved by the Chinese Drug Administration and included in the vaccine for emergency use. This is the first mRNA vaccine product independently developed by the CCP that has been authorized for emergency use.

Lin Xiaoxu, former director of the virology laboratory at the U.S. Army Research Institute, told NTDTV that the new mRNA vaccine developed by CSPC actually has many drawbacks. In fact, this vaccine has not even completed the second phase of clinical trials, so it should not be approved at all.

Generally, vaccines need to go through phase III clinical trials, and only after obtaining key protection data can they be approved for large-scale use. Lin Xiaoxu believes that the CCP’s haste to approve the vaccine to be put on the market is neither logical nor conventional. This is a very absurd thing.

On the day that the vaccine was put into emergency use in China, on March 22, the CCP’s official media quoted experts from the National Health and Medical Commission as warning that the new crown epidemic has not disappeared in mainland China, but is only in a low-level epidemic state.

Mainland China's "Health Times" reported that recently, netizens from Shanghai, Beijing, Shandong, Anhui and many other places posted on social platforms that they were infected with the new crown.

It is worth noting that since March, infection waves have reappeared in many places in China. Hospitals around the country are full of patients with fever, and schools in many places are closed. If it has not disappeared, it is possible that the CCP uniformly described it as "influenza A" in order to cover up the epidemic.

On 23 March 2023, Yuen Guoyong, a professor of microbiology at the University of Hong Kong, also published an article in Hong Kong's "Letter" warning that, judging from the epidemic situation in mainland China and Hong Kong, the days of raging pandemics will definitely come again.

He reminded the authorities to be prepared, trust the science, and take into account the mental health of the public and economic hardship, or there will be a huge price to pay, with millions of lives likely to be lost and the economy collapsed.

Yuen Guoyong also revealed in the article that he had been threatened with his life three times because of the epidemic warning.
