On 1 September 2025, both Indonesia and Laos have rolled out their respective online arrival card systems for foreign travellers.
In Indonesia, the "All Indonesia" online arrival card, which may be accessed through the web-site https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or the "All Indonesia" app is introduced on 1 September 2025 at key international airports including Cengkareng, Denpasar and Surabaya Juanda Airport. It is made compulsory at all international entry points across Indonesia from 1 October 2025, including Komodo, Makassar, Manado, Kualanamu and Sumatra airports.
Image above : Before the implementation of the "All Indonesia" online arrival card, foreigners need to declare their health status separately on the online health declaration site in order to obtain the SATU SEHAT Health Pass (SSHP) to enter Indonesia.
The "All Indonesia" online arrival card combines previous arrival card, health declaration (SATU SEHAT) and customs declaration (e-CD) online forms into a single digital form.
On the online arrival card, there is the SCAN MRZ button, which is the passport reader and it does not work. Simply ignore this section and fill in the passport details and tourist particulars. It takes about 2.5 minutes to complete. The form should be ideally filled out within 72 hours (three days) before arrival in Indonesia. Upon submission, a QR code is generated and sent via email, which must be printed and presented to the Indonesia immigration/customs upon arrival.
On the "All Indonesia" mobile app, tourists have to show the generated QR code upon arrival. So save a screenshot of the QR code.
Image below : After showing the QR code, visa-exempt tourists (ASEAN foreigners) do not need to fill in the e-visa card as they are previously required to do so at evisa.imigrasi.go.id.
In Lao PDR, Laos requires tourists to complete the mandatory online arrival card, known as the Lao Digital Immigration Form (LDIF), on the Department of Immigration website no later than three days before arrival. After submission, the tourist will receive a QR code that must be shown at immigration for both entry and departure. During the pilot phase starting 1 September 2025, paper forms are still an option but they will become obsolete after the pilot ends in early 2026 as the system will become compulsory nationwide by then.
The above procedures are identical to the TDAC system of Thailand. The use of both systems is free-of-charge.
