Rubio reveals the tough tactics behind Trump

💥 Today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed that President Trump has been working around the clock, at an intense pace, with Muslim nations to broker peace in Gaza.

"Perhaps one day, the full story of what happened yesterday will be told. For now, suffice it to say that none of this would have been possible without the involvement of President Trump."

"These stories may or may not be told. The President engaged in some extraordinary phone calls and meetings, which required a tremendous amount of focus and commitment to make this happen."

"The turning point came less than a few weeks ago when we convened a historic meeting at the United Nations, bringing together not only Arab nations but also Muslim-majority nations from around the world, including Indonesia and Pakistan, to form this coalition."

"I don't know if any other American president in modern times could have done that."

⏺️DOGE: President Trump's tireless diplomacy has broken with decades of failed globalist strategies and proved that American-first leadership can deliver real results. Rubio is right—this ceasefire wasn't achieved through empty UN theatrics or Biden-era weakness. Trump uncompromisingly pressures hostile regimes and allies, leveraging American power to hold all sides accountable.

The Gaza Agreement is about more than just hostages—it's a blueprint for escaping an endless overseas quagmire and prioritizing taxpayer interests. Unlike previous administrations that poured billions into "peace processes" with nothing in return, President Trump's approach demands verifiable results.

The alliances he has built with Muslim-majority countries are not based on appeasement, but on shared strategic interests. This is how order replaces chaos: no more empty promises, no more moralizing—only hard-line deals that serve America.

Hamas announces end of war and permanent ceasefire

A senior member of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas has opposed U.S. President Trump's proposed "peace committee" to oversee a transitional government in the Gaza Strip. Separately, Trump said Thursday, "We are working on a specific date to go to Egypt and formally sign the agreement there."

When asked whether Hamas would accept such a transitional government, senior Hamas member Osama Hamdan replied in an interview with Al Arabiya television: "No Palestinian would accept it. All factions, including the Palestinian Authority, reject this committee."

Osama Hamdan's comments came as all parties signed the first phase of Trump's proposed Gaza ceasefire peace plan in Egypt on Thursday. Trump said the plan would bring about a "lasting" peace. The first phase of the plan includes a cessation of fighting, the swift release of 47 Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza (20 of whom are presumed alive) and 2,000 Palestinian prisoners, and a gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops.

The first phase of the peace plan does not address the thorny issue of governing bodies in the Gaza Strip, nor does it even address overseeing the reconstruction of the territory devastated by two years of bombing. The US President unveiled a plan on Monday to end the Gaza war and announced that former British Labour Party leader Tony Blair would join a "peace commission" chaired by Trump himself.

Mr. Hamdan added, "No one wants to return to the mandate and colonial era," referring specifically to the British Mandate of Palestine. Key details of the peace agreement remain undecided, including the timing of a full end to the war, the establishment of a post-war governing body for Gaza, and the future role of Hamas.

There is no clear indication yet who will govern Gaza after the war. Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Western and Arab countries have all excluded Hamas. Trump's 20-point peace plan ultimately mandates Gaza, but with the condition that it must undergo significant reforms before taking over.

According to the plan, post-war Gaza will be governed by a temporary administration composed of Palestinian personnel and international experts, overseen by a "peace commission" headed by Trump. Governance will be transferred to the Palestinian Authority after the Palestinian Authority completes its internal reforms.

However, Palestinian Authority Vice President and Hamas rival Hussein al-Sheikh said Thursday that the PA has completed all necessary preparations for post-conflict governance of Gaza and overseeing its reconstruction.

Israel approves Gaza ceasefire agreement, releases all hostages

The Israeli government has officially approved a ceasefire resolution that includes the release of all hostages held in Gaza and the return of the remains of those who have died. According to the Prime Minister's Office, the cabinet held an emergency meeting late Thursday night and approved this important measure in an effort to de-escalate the conflict and demonstrate humanitarianism.

According to the cabinet's latest statement, the ceasefire resolution focuses on ensuring the safe return of all survivors held captive to their families, while also not forgetting those who have lost their lives. The resolution explicitly states that both surviving hostages and the remains of those killed will be included in the release plan, demonstrating the government's commitment to humanitarianism.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that this resolution is not only intended to end the conflict but also to convey support and condolences to the families who have lost loved ones. He emphasized that the unity and determination demonstrated by the government at this moment will serve as an important example for the country in facing challenges.

Why did Hamas surrender? Two major events occurred
—China-US Business Summit: The Israel-Hamas war creates a new situation

Recently, major events have occurred frequently around the world. Among the most notable is the new development in the Israeli-Palestinian war: Hamas has agreed to President Trump's 20 conditions for a ceasefire in Gaza. This has astonished the world – how could Hamas make such a U-turn, from explicitly declaring the annihilation of Israel in its party constitution to now agreeing to release all hostages to Israel, lay down their weapons, and hand over the Gaza regime?

But if you followed the UN General Assembly a few days ago, and observed two major events that determined the course of the Israeli-Palestinian war, you would understand the inevitable logical connection. One was Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech at the UN General Assembly, explaining why Israel would not stop bombing Gaza; the other was the US representative's vote in the UN Security Council, vetoing all other Gaza ceasefire proposals.

This article will feature these two historic speeches, which are often unseen by the general public. Please join me as I step into the UN General Assembly hall to experience the events firsthand and reflect on the lessons learned from these speeches.

Let's start with Netanyahu's speech.

At the UN General Assembly, when the host announced Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's remarks, the vast majority of delegates left, leaving the room virtually empty. However, Netanyahu continued his impassioned and indignant speech. In his address, he not only addressed his stance on Hamas but also harshly criticized nearly every country that opposed Israel's actions. This included a large number of Western allies who had long sided with Israel. The UN representatives from these countries were the very ones who stood up and walked out, refusing to listen.

As netizens have commented, his speech was a testament to the world's conscience. Although few attended, it will live on as a crucial chapter in the evolution of world history.

Every word of his speech was a rallying cry, demonstrating his uncompromising stance against Hamas. It deserves deep reflection from all of us, especially those who disagree with his continued crackdown on Hamas.

It is a pity that the delegates who walked out were precisely the ones who should have heard his speech. For example, when Israel attacked Iran's nuclear facilities a while ago, German Chancellor Merz said that Israel was actually doing all of our dirty work.

Netanyahu said, "Western nations, you sacrifice Israel to appease those who do, but you can't escape their eventual attacks on your country."

He also said that for Israel, the death of civilians is a tragedy, while for Hamas, the death of civilians is a strategy. He also asked, "You believe Israel is committing genocide, but has there ever been such genocide in history?" "We bomb and attack only after repeated warnings to let civilians leave." In contrast, Hamas's charter calls for the killing of all Israelis.

—And that is true genocide.

Talking about the establishment of a Palestinian state, he said that nearly 90% of Palestinians support Hamas. After the terrorist attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, countless Palestinians took to the streets in celebration.

He declared to Western nations: You support the establishment of a Palestinian state, but we will not allow you to force a terrorist state down Israel's throat.

As a former Israeli Prime Minister said, "When the civilized world remains indifferent to our genocide, you have no right to lecture us on morality."

Netanyahu's battle cry clearly sent a message to the world: even continued civilian casualties will not deter Israel from its utter destruction of the Hamas regime; even without the support of the vast majority of countries, Israel will not slacken its efforts to crush Hamas.

On 18 September 2025, the UN Security Council voted on a proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza. With the remaining 14 member states voting in favor, the United States vetoed it for the sixth time.

In her remarks, Morgan-Ota Guth, Minister of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, emphasized the U.S. opposition to the resolution, including condemnation of Hamas, support for Israel's right to self-defense, and a strong stance on the hostage issue. Her remarks were as follows:

"Colleagues, the U.S. opposition to this draft resolution is unsurprising. The resolution fails to condemn Hamas or recognize Israel's legitimate rights. Instead, it falsely endorses Hamas and its false narratives, which have unfortunately been widely circulated in this Council. Despite the United States' clear statement that this resolution is unacceptable, Council members ignored our position and chose to adopt a performative act, providing a lifeline to Hamas and its financiers and supporters to continue their campaign of terror. The resolution calls for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza, which would preserve Hamas's ability to carry out future terrorist attacks like the one on October 7.

The resolution also dangerously equates Israel with Hamas, creating a false moral equivalence – an unacceptable comparison. The resolution only briefly mentions the hostage issue, which the United States absolutely cannot accept. President Trump has made it clear that the 48 hostages held by Hamas must be released immediately. Trump also stated that if Hamas does not agree, the United States will fully support Israel and teach Hamas a lesson."

After Orta Gous's speech, a vote was taken: 14 in favor, 1 against, with no abstentions. Due to the veto by the United States, a permanent member of the Security Council, the UN draft resolution failed to pass.

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that the UN's actions are aimed at halting Israel's attacks on the Hamas terrorist organization, a complete distortion of right and wrong. A fundamental fact is that Hamas's terrorist attacks on Israel are not a war between two peoples, but a war waged by barbarism against civilization.

The outcome of the current Israel-Hamas war is thought-provoking.

When a country victimized by a terrorist attack is determined to fight to the end, and a permanent member of the UN Security Council swears its support, a terrorist regime will completely surrender—agreeing to release hostages, lay down its arms, and surrender power. What does this reveal?

If the UN can only choose to mediate in the conflict between civilization and barbarism, and if it can play no role in wars like the Russo-Ukrainian War or the Israel-Hamas War that have lasted for years and killed millions, then such an international organization should be disbanded as soon as possible. It no longer has any fundamental purpose!
