Sanae Takaichi, President of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, is almost certain to become Prime Minister of Japan. She recently sent a letter to the International Forum on "The History and Prospects of the Southern Mongolian Freedom and Independence Movement," criticizing the CCP for trampling on the human rights of Mongolians.

Japanese political activist Kotaro Miura stated: "The world now knows about the CCP's transnational repression. They (the CCP) suppress dissidents in mainland China and view any resistance to repression in other countries as interference in their internal affairs. This is a veritable 'genocidal ideology.' (Takaichi's) protest is not interference in internal affairs at all. If such a country (the CCP) becomes powerful, we will eventually suffer the same persecution."

Sanae Takaichi, chairperson of the Liberal Democratic Party's "Diet Members' Alliance for Supporting Southern Mongolia," stated in a letter: "I am filled with righteous indignation at the CCP's ongoing human rights violations in Southern Mongolia." She expressed her hope for stronger solidarity and the joint protection of universal values such as freedom, the rule of law, and basic human rights. This move sparked a strong protest from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Kotaro Miura stated, "They (the CCP) are so sensitive about (Japanese) members of parliament and LDP politicians simply issuing a letter of support. Mongolian students studying in Japan, or Southern Mongolians participating in pro-democracy activities, are still threatened by the Chinese Embassy. This is an infringement on Japan's sovereignty. Therefore, it is they (the CCP) who are truly interfering in other countries' internal affairs."

Sanae Takaichi has repeatedly named the CCP, condemning its oppression of those fighting for freedom in China and maintaining a firm stance against the CCP.

Kotaro Miura stated, "Sanae Takaichi not only opposes the CCP, but has also been committed to resolving human rights issues that the CCP has concealed. The CCP's criticism of those conducting activities in Japan is interference in internal affairs. I hope that if elected Prime Minister, Takaichi will prioritize addressing this issue."

Many Japanese people are unaware of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, Inner Mongolia, Hong Kong, and the Uyghurs. Kotaro Miura expressed his strong hope that if elected Prime Minister, Takaichi will vigorously promote solutions to human rights issues in the CCP.
