This year’s "Understanding China" conference was held on November 20. The theme of the conference was the so-called "Great Changes, Great Tests, Great Cooperation-China's New Journey of Modernization and a Community of Shared Future for Mankind." Countries are strengthening cooperation worldwide.

Documents from the meeting showed that in addition to using China’s 14th Five-Year Plan as the draft, a group of party and government officials were invited at the opening ceremony of the meeting.

The National Pulse website reported on December 2 that there were nearly 20 high-level CCP speakers at the conference, and they needed Western "important people" to stand and endorse the conference.

CNN host and Washington Post writer Fareed Zakaria, Biden consultant Lawrence Summers (Lawrence Summers) all appeared in these "Western representatives." Summers was the director of the National Economic Council during the Obama era and was also identified by Biden as a "campaign advisor."

The Berggruen Institute is related to Joe Biden’s "Transitional Integrity Project." The co-founder of the organization Nils Gilman serves as vice president of programs and editor of the Institute’s magazine. Gilman has gained notoriety for threatening to execute Michael Anton, a former official of the Trump administration.
