Gordon Chang warns: CCP collects DNA from all over the world for sinister purposes

Recently, China expert Gordon Chang issued a warning that the CCP plans to use the world’s largest DNA database information it owns to develop biological weapons against specific ethnic groups.

Gordon Chang made the above warning in an interview with Fox News recently. He said: "The CCP virus will not be the last pathogen to be produced in China. So we have to worry about the next disease that is more easily spread and more deadly than the CCP virus."

The large-scale collection of DNA by the CCP has already aroused the attention of the outside world. At the end of 2017, the Wall Street Journal reported that the local police in Qianwei County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province collected hundreds of saliva samples from male students from kindergarten to high school, and required the amount of saliva to change the filter paper in the plastic box from pink to pink. White, so that forensics can extract DNA from it.

According to CCP police information disclosed earlier, the CCP plans to expand the DNA database to 100 million records by 2020. At that time, there were 54 million data in China's DNA database. To reach the goal of 100 million records, almost as many records need to be collected each year as the national database established in the United States over the past 20 years.

Gordon stated that the CCP obtains DNA from foreigners, including Americans, by purchasing American companies that have DNA research agreements, providing DNA analysis and research for gene companies, and hacking.

Steven W. Mosher, chairman of the Population Research Institute, who studied human biology at Stanford University, also wrote an article in the English Epoch Times last year, exposing that the CCP is collecting and establishing human genes globally through biogene companies for archiving and possibly weaponize this. For example, Shenzhen Huada Gene Technology Co., Ltd. (BGI), a state-funded company of the Chinese Communist Party, acquired the American gene sequencing company Complete Genomics in 2013, allowing the Chinese company to obtain a DNA database containing a large number of American personal genetic information.

According to a report by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC), BGI has “established many partnerships with American healthcare providers and research institutions to provide large-scale gene sequencing and support medical research.” .

In addition to BGI, the USCC report also identified at least 23 CCP-related companies that are currently licensed in the United States to perform molecular diagnostics or other genetic testing, including whole genome sequencing.

Data from the US cybersecurity company Mandiant shows that since 2008, the number of hacker attacks targeting US biotech companies has increased dramatically. Judging by the number of publicly reported violations detailed in the USCC report, many of these attacks have been successful.

In addition to collecting DNA through the above methods, Gordon Chang also pointed out that Beijing is trying to expand its influence by providing vaccines while collecting sensitive information from people outside China. Their approach is: "We will give you this vaccine, but we need to complete our trial, so we will use your population to do the trial. If you don't participate in these trials, you won't get the Chinese vaccine."

There are currently 5 candidate vaccines for the Chinese Communist Party virus that have entered Phase 3 clinical trials. The final phase of the test has been carried out in at least 16 countries including Brazil, Turkey, Morocco, and the UAE.

Gordon said that the CCP wants this information to dominate the biotechnology industry, and they have included it in the "Made in China 2025" plan; another reason is more sinister. The CCP may want to develop some viruses, which are not for everyone but only for certain ethnic or racial groups.

Gordon believes that genetic data enables the Chinese Communist Party to create biological weapons that can target certain groups of people. In addition, the CCP collects foreigners’ DNA while prohibiting foreign researchers from studying China’s DNA. This move also supports this theory.

Gordon urges the United States to act quickly to prevent the CCP from acquiring more American DNA.

The U.S. has six major moves to sanction the CCP

Previously, US President Trump, Secretary of State Pompeo and other high-level officials also clearly pointed out that the CCP is the number one enemy of the United States. Therefore, in the past week, the United States has made at least six major moves to sanction the CCP.

1. The U.S. terminates the CCP’s 5 external propaganda projects

On December 4, the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a statement announcing that the United States has officially terminated five exchange programs with the CCP, including the China Education Program for Policy Makers, the U.S.-China Friendship Program, the U.S.-China Leaders Exchange Program, US-China Trans-Pacific Exchange Project, Hong Kong Education and Culture Project.

Pompeo pointed out that these projects, under the name of "cultural exchange", are fully funded and operated by the CCP government, and have become a tool for the CCP's soft power.

2. The U.S. restricts visas for CCP United Front personnel

On the same day, Pompeo announced that the United States would use or threaten to use violence, eavesdrop and publish private information, engage in espionage, sabotage, or maliciously interfere with the domestic political affairs and academic freedom of the United States against CCP officials and activists in the United Front Work Department. , Personal privacy or business activities are subject to visa restrictions.

The statement said that for a long time, the Chinese Communist Party has been committed to spreading Marxism-Leninist ideas and exerting influence around the world; and the United Front Work Department of the Chinese Communist Party has been funding and supporting overseas organizations in the United States for propaganda, coercion and bullying of people who oppose Beijing (CCP) policies.

The statement stated that the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China often intimidates members of academia, business, civil society, and overseas Chinese communities, including intimidation of ethnic minorities and religious people; the purpose of these malicious activities is to woo and coerce the United States and other countries. Leaders, overseas Chinese communities, academia, and other civil organizations to advance the CCP’s authoritarian narrative and policy priorities.

3. Sanctions against CCP members

On December 3, the US State Department announced that it would restrict the travel of Chinese Communist Party members and their immediate family members to the United States, and shorten the validity period of travel visas for Chinese Communist Party members and their families from multiple round trips in ten years to one month and a single trip, with immediate effect.

A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department stated that this move is "a policy, regulatory and enforcement action being taken by the U.S. government to protect our country from the harmful influence of the Chinese Communist Party."

Current political commentator Li Linyi said that the United States has shortened the visas of CCP members, but CCP United Front officials who meet the conditions are not allowed to enter the United States. This punishment should exceed the restrictions on ordinary CCP members.

4. The U.S. sanctions 4 Chinese companies

On December 3, the U.S. government officially listed four other Chinese companies-Semiconductor Manufacturing International (SMIC), China National Offshore Oil (CNOOC), China Construction Technology Co., Ltd. and China International Engineering Consulting Corporation (CIECC). Enter the corporate blacklist.

The U.S. Department of Defense believes that these four Chinese-funded companies are owned or controlled by the Chinese Communist military and endanger U.S. national security, and therefore restrict U.S. investors from investing in them.

Fifth, the United States cracked down on CCP spies, and more than 1,000 military researchers left the United States

On December 2, John Demers, Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Justice, stated in an online conference that the U.S. Department of Justice is cracking down on espionage activities and has initiated multiple criminal prosecutions against CCP agents. More than a thousand Chinese military researchers left the United States.

On December 1, when the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Alex Wong delivered a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, DC, he accused the CCP of "flagrant violation" of its obligation to impose international sanctions on North Korea. The US State Department is launching a website. People can provide information about (the Chinese Communist Party) evasion of North Korean sanctions through this website, and receive a reward of up to 5 million U.S. dollars.

Pompeo meets with representatives of groups persecuted by the CCP

While sanctioning the CCP, the United States also joined forces with the Chinese people and countries persecuted by the CCP to counter the CCP.

On December 3, U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo met with representatives of a number of groups severely persecuted by the CCP at the State Department. The representatives not only included representatives from Tibet, Xinjiang, Mongolia, Falun Gong, and Hong Kong, but also representatives from Kazakhstan. Because of the CCP’s “One Belt, One Road” plan, the country has plundered local resources and made politics more corrupt.

This is the first time that the US Secretary of State has met and communicated with representatives of multiple persecuted groups at the same time. Prior to this, representatives of Tibet and June 4th, which are vulnerable to persecution in the United States, met.

On November 20th, Lobsang Sangay, the leader of the Central Tibetan Administration, paid an official visit to the White House and met with representatives of the Office of the President and Vice President of the United States. This is the first time a leader of the Central Tibetan Administration has visited the White House in the past 60 years. .

On June 2nd this year, Pompeo met with survivors Li Lanju, Su Xiaokang, Wang Dan and Li Hengqing at the State Council on June 2. It is reported that this is the first official meeting with June 4th survivors by the US Secretary of State in 30 years and expresses the US government's concerns about the June 4th incident and China's democratization.

When Pompeo published a communion in front of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library in California on July 23 this year, he said that the Chinese Communist Party has been lying. "The biggest lie it spoofs is that the Chinese Communist Party represents 1.4 billion people under its surveillance, People who oppress and dare not speak speak".

Pompeo said that the free world should unite with the Chinese people and oppose the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party. "If the free world does not change Communist China, Communist China will definitely change us."

CCP bullies Australia and draws public anger

Australia is an important ally of the United States and one of the member states of the "Five Eyes Alliance" and the "Four-Party Talks." In the past week, the CCP has successively suppressed Australia.

On November 27, the Ministry of Commerce of the Communist Party of China announced that it would impose high tariffs of 107.1% to 212.1% on Australian wine. Prior to this, the CCP had also implemented corresponding retaliatory measures against Australian barley, beef, coal, seafood, timber, sugar and cotton.

On November 30, the spokesperson of the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zhao Lijian, posted on Twitter a fake picture of an Australian soldier carrying a knife on the neck of an Afghan child and attacked Australia.

Australian Prime Minister Morrison was furious about this and believed that Zhao’s move was “heinous” and “deeply offended” retired and active Australian soldiers. The Chinese (CCP) government should be “ashamed” for his actions. He asked the Chinese government to apologize for this and immediately delete the relevant tweets.

Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne summoned Cheng Jingye, the Chinese Communist Party's ambassador to Australia, and conveyed through him the Australian side's request for an apology from the Chinese government. Australia’s opposition leaders and shadow foreign ministers also condemned this and rose to the name of the country as a whole.

This kind of bullying by the CCP has not only met with the same enemies across Australia. The “Daily Telegraph” of Australia also published a front page of historical photos of tankers in Tiananmen Square blocking the advance of CCP’s tanks and wrote, “We treat those The civilians and students killed by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army were shocked. We strongly condemn this behavior and call for their accountability.” At the end of the article, it was noted, “This photo is real.”

Moreover, the CCP’s “wolf war diplomacy” has also been condemned by global democracies. Democracies including the United States, Britain, France, Canada, and New Zealand have all spoken out in support of Australia and condemned the CCP.

At the same time, the "China Policy Transnational Parliamentary Alliance" (IPAC) composed of 19 countries and more than 200 parliamentarians launched a global support for Australia campaign, calling on everyone to buy Australian wine in December, declaring global unity against the hegemonic behavior of the Chinese Communist Party.

NATO and EU both point the finger at the CCP

From December 1 to 2, the foreign ministers of the 30 NATO member states held a video conference. The meeting mainly discussed major issues such as the "NATO 2030" reform report and the new challenges brought about by the rise of the Chinese Communist Party.

The "NATO 2030" report includes 138 recommendations, of which the China issue is an important part.

The report pointed out that with its technological ambitions, military expansion, and trade policies, the CCP can no longer regard it as just an Asian country, but NATO has responded too slowly to this challenge. The CCP is a rising power in this century, and NATO must respond in a timely manner.

The report recommends that NATO should establish an advisory body to coordinate Western policies towards Beijing; and emphasizes the security issues brought to Western society by the CCP’s espionage, information warfare, and armament building.

NATO Secretary-General Stoltenberg (Jens Stoltenberg) said on November 30, “China (the CCP) is investing heavily in new weapons, from the Arctic to Africa; it is getting closer and closer to us by investing in our infrastructure. China (the CCP) does not agree with our values, does not respect basic human rights, and tries to intimidate other countries."

In addition to NATO, the EU has also begun to target the CCP.

On November 29, the "Financial Times" cited a draft titled "EU-U.S. New Agenda for Global Change". The EU called on Washington to seize the opportunity to establish a global alliance to deal with the challenges brought about by the CCP's rising global influence.

The draft refers to concerns that the EU’s growing influence over the CCP and weakened transatlantic relations are conducive to Beijing’s geopolitical goals. Both the EU and the United States believe that the CCP’s growing international self-confidence poses challenges to a free society.

On December 1, the foreign ministers of 37 EU and ASEAN countries held the 23rd Foreign Ministers' Meeting in a video format.

The German Foreign Minister Maas publicly stated that the EU and ASEAN will establish a "strategic partnership", and the two sides will safeguard common interests; safeguard the security of strategic partners, open trade routes, and free and fair trade.

Radio Free Asia quoted Shi Ming, a German scholar who studies the relationship between the EU and China, as saying that since the two sides are a "strategic partnership", that includes the EU must protect ASEAN countries bullied by the CCP, especially on the South China Sea issue. The country will not sit back and watch.

On the issue of sovereignty in the South China Sea, many of the 10 ASEAN countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Brunei, have disputes with the CCP in territorial waters. They all claim to have partial sovereignty over the South China Sea.
