Zhao Lijian's intensive anti-Western comments are erroneous

Reporter : Lin Yan / Editor : Ye Ziwei / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/6/24/n13043435.htm

On Wednesday (23 June 2021), the spokesperson of the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zhao Lijian, once again posted intensive anti-Western comments on Twitter and directly provoked the U.S. House of Representatives of Wisconsin. Because he did not understand American geography and made many low-level mistakes, Zhao Lijian's theory of virus dumping made a joke again.

Zhao Lijian's poor geographical knowledge is a slap on the CCP's face

A short tweet got many basic facts wrong.

First, Fort Detrick is located in Maryland, in the eastern United States, while Wisconsin is located in the north of the Midwestern United States. It takes at least 13 hours to drive from Wisconsin to Maryland, which is not "only one hour's drive" as Zhao Lijian said.

As a CCP diplomat who has lived and worked in the United States, Zhao Lijian has used American geography as a mockery in the past. This is not the first time he has made trouble due to low-level mistakes.

For example, he tweeted in 2019, "If you are in Washington, D.C., you know that white people will never go to the southeastern United States (live) because that is a Black and Latino area."

In the United States, it is impolite to use "Black" to address people of African descent, but Zhao Lijian used this name three times in a row that day.

Zhao's black tweet even caused Susan Rice, a former US national security adviser, to respond to criticism, saying that he was "shameless, ashamed" and "ignorant", and hoped to "send him back home" soon.

EVALI is lowly infectious

Second, the full name of EVALI is "Electronic cigarette or Vaping product use Associated Lung Injury" (electronic cigarette or vaping product use associated lung injury), and it is not a highly infectious disease.

Why the laboratories at Fort Detrick were closed in 2019

Fort Detrick, which Zhao Lijian kept provoking, is the location of the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), also known as the US Army Biological Warfare Research Center.

The USAMRIID is the first place in America to get the first batch of samples of the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) from the Federal CDC to conduct research on the sequence of virus genes.

Before the outbreak of the covid epidemic in the United States in 2020, the institute’s laboratory was closed for a short time in July 2019 because the steam sterilization plant in Fort Detrick failed, and a new chemical system was subsequently used for the experiment. The wastewater in the chamber is treated.

The U.S. CDC approved the third and fourth-level biosafety laboratories of the Fort Detrick Army Institute of Infectious Diseases on 27 March 2020 to fully resume research on infectious viruses.

In other words, the closure of the laboratory has nothing to do with Wisconsin, and it has nothing to do with non-communicable diseases.

However, since the covid outbreak from Wuhan, China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party and the media have repeatedly stated and reported that the origin of the virus is not ruled out related to Fort Detrick, but they have not provided any theoretical research and truth. In fact, there is no international medical journal or academic research to support their rhetoric.

What did the U.S. congressman say to make Zhao Lijian a war wolf again?

So, what exactly did US Congressman Gallagher say to make Zhao Lijian reappear as a wolf?

In an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Night Show on Tuesday, Gallagher said that “useful idiots” such as scientists, big technology companies, and the media are trying to hide information about the origin of SARS-CoV-2 in China.

Gallagher said that the dam is now rupturing, and even the scientists who signed the open letter against laboratory leaks have begun to admit that the hypothesis of laboratory leaks needs to be investigated.

Therefore, Gallagher suggested that all relevant intelligence should be declassified immediately and all US taxpayers' funding information for funding Wuhan research should be published.

He also said that the technology company Google cannot be used to replace people's thinking. Now Google is helping the CCP review what people think, share, and write.

Gallagher mocked, "If we really want to be replaced by Google, it is better for us to admit defeat now, accept the new Chinese communist hegemon, and start preparing for the (communist) social credit scoring work."

Blinken's visit to Europe warns countries not to profit from slave labour in Xinjiang

Reporter : Chen Ting / Editor : Ye Ziwei / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/6/24/n13043465.htm / Direct translation

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned countries not to benefit from forced labour in Xinjiang on Wednesday (23 June).

After accompanying President Biden on his first visit after taking office, Blinken went to Europe again this week, making his first visit to Germany, France, Italy and the Vatican, and participating in a series of international conferences.

Blinken was visiting Berlin, Germany on Wednesday. When meeting with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, he gave a speech on issues related to China and Xinjiang's forced labor.

Brinken said, “On issues involving Xinjiang, genocide, and human rights violations, I think we all have a responsibility to do our best to ensure that products suspected of forced labor do not flow into the country. Similarly, we will not give any Countries, including China or other countries, export technologies or products that can be used to suppress people and deprive them of their human rights."

Earlier this month, during the summit of the Group of Seven (G7) leaders, leaders promised to remove forced labor products from the global supply chain.

Brinken said that the United States and Europe both have complicated relations with Beijing and should take coordinated actions.

"Our relationship with China has both an antagonistic level and a competition and cooperation level. But no matter which level it is, a common ground is that when we cooperate and take common actions, our dealings with China will become more important. It works," Blinken said.

"What we want to maintain is the free and open international order that we have spent decades building." Blinken added.

Although Blinken did not say clearly, Volkswagen, the leading German automaker, has a factory in Urumqi, Xinjiang. Critics believe that the Volkswagen Group “turned a blind eye” to the large number of local detainees and cooperated with the Chinese military.

The CEO of Volkswagen Group in charge of China operations said in April this year that they cannot have a forced labor problem because they hire their employees directly.

The executive said at the time that as long as it is "economically feasible," its Xinjiang factory will continue to operate.

On Tuesday, under the leadership of Canada, more than forty countries issued a statement at the United Nations, urging the Chinese authorities to allow the United Nations human rights director to enter Xinjiang as soon as possible to investigate allegations that more than one million people have been illegally detained and involved in forced labor.

Blinken also talked about the close relationship between the United States and Germany, even though the two countries still have differences over the Beixi 2 pipeline.

"We still believe that the pipeline is ultimately a Russian geopolitical project that threatens the energy security of Europe and may undermine the security of Ukraine and other countries in the region." Brinken said.

"Our goal remains to ensure that Russia cannot use energy as a tool as a coercive weapon against Ukraine or anyone else in Europe."

He added, "Germany and the United States will continue to stand together against any dangerous and provocative actions by Russia, whether it is the occupation of Ukrainian territory, the imprisonment of Navalny (Alexei Navalny, the leader of the Russian opposition), or the spread of our democratic country. False news."

Blinken also met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday.

In a briefing on the meeting, the US State Department stated that the two leaders "emphasized the importance of a coordinated approach to global challenges on both sides of the Atlantic, including those posed by China and Russia."

Merkel will visit the United States next month, and she is expected to meet with President Biden.

Stanford Medical Research: Covid may damage the brain

A study by the Stanford University School of Medicine found that covid patients who died of COVID-19  had brain inflammation, genetic changes, and damage to neural circuits. Many infected people have symptoms of "brain fog" and mental restlessness. This discovery may provide important clues.

This research was jointly completed by Stanford University School of Medicine and Saarland University in Germany. The report was published in the journal Nature published this week. The study also pointed out that the brains of people who died from the disease are very similar to those of other degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

Tony Wyss-Coray, a neuroscientist at Stanford University, said that the research team found no evidence of the virus invading and infecting the brain. Some patients may be caused by the virus lingering around the brain, causing symptoms in the nervous system.

The Mercury News, headquartered in San Jose, California, reported on Thursday (24 June) that covi mainly attacks the lungs, but also has mental effects. Some patients have neurological problems, including headaches, delusions, "brain fog", dizziness, fatigue, and loss of smell.

A woman in her 50s suffered mental problems after contracting the epidemic. She said that she saw lions and monkeys in the house. Studies have pointed out that the infection may also cause stroke.

31-year-old Karyn Bishof  lives in Florida. He is a firefighter and emergency paramedic. He is also the founder of the Long COVID Alliance. After contracting the epidemic in March last year, he suffered from daily chronic headaches, memory loss, brain fog, forgetting words, and lack of coordinated obedience to commands and insufficient vocabulary conversion skills.

FDA: mRNA vaccine may cause heart inflammation

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said on Wednesday (23 June) that the covi vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna may increase the likelihood of heart inflammation and this will be included in a warning to pre-vaccinated patients.

Both Pfizer and Modena vaccines use mRNA technology.

At a meeting of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), Dr. Doran Fink, deputy director of the FDA’s vaccine division, told the committee that the FDA will “act quickly and update the fact sheet "to ensure transparency on this identified risk issue, no matter how rare it is.

Fink added that the warning statement "may include information that these incidents have occurred in some vaccine recipients, especially after the second dose of the mRNA vaccine. Symptoms usually appear within a few days to a week after vaccination. "These symptoms include chest pain and shortness of breath.

ACIP has met to discuss the latest data on myocarditis and pericarditis incidents in adolescents and young people under the age of 29 years after vaccination with mRNA, especially after the second dose. Most cases of inflammation are reported from male patients.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) said on Wednesday that it has started a study to evaluate the immune response of the covi vaccine to pregnant or postpartum women.

According to Reuters, the US NIH stated that pregnant women have a higher risk of complications after infection, including premature birth, organ failure, and hypertension. Therefore, they are studying the immune response of pregnant or postpartum women after vaccination.

NIH named this study "MOMI-VAX", which measures the development and persistence of antibodies in women who were vaccinated during pregnancy or two months after childbirth.

In addition, the researchers will also evaluate the safety of the vaccine and confirm whether the pregnant woman after vaccination can pass the protection through the placenta or breast milk to the newborn.

The trial will recruit up to 750 pregnant women and 250 postpartum women, some of whom have been given the FDA-approved covi vaccine.

An Israeli study published in February of this year showed that 20 pregnant women and newborns who were given the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine had all detected antibodies in their blood.

Pfizer and BioNTech also conducted a trial in February this year, calling on 4,000 volunteers to participate in evaluating the effectiveness and safety of their vaccines for pregnant women.

26 cases of suspected adverse reactions to vaccination in Taiwan are dissected, none of the causes of death are related to vaccines

The Taiwan authorities said on Thursday that they have completed another 10 autopsies on suspected fatal cases of vaccination. At present, a total of 26 autopsies have been completed, and preliminary studies and judgments have nothing to do with the vaccine.

From 15 June 2021, Taiwan has expanded vaccination and opened up to the elderly over 75 years old, residents of long-term care institutions, patients with kidney dialysis, etc. However, the frequent deaths after vaccination have aroused concern.

According to the statistics of the authorities, as of now, a total of 1,746,130 people have been vaccinated, of which 1,650,166 people have been vaccinated against AZ and 95,964 people have been vaccinated against Moderna, a coverage rate of about 7.43%.

At present, there are a total of 178 deaths and adverse events after vaccination in Taiwan, 87 women and 91 men. The age of death is between 41 and 101 years old, of which 141 are elderly people over 75 years old.

Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center spokesperson Zhuang Renxiang said that 10 new autopsies were completed today, and a total of 26 autopsies were completed, 23 of which were related to chronic diseases. One person was choked by inhalation of food and two died from cervical spine fractures. The causes of death thought to be related to the covi vaccines have nothing to do the vaccines after all.

The more people vaccinated in China, the more people are infected

Whether it is in mainland China or other countries in the world, wherever a large number of CCP vaccines are vaccinated, the epidemic has worsened. This phenomenon has caused people to worry about vaccines produced in China.

On 20 June, the National Health Commission of the Communist Party of China reported that as of 19 June, the total number of covi vaccines in 31 provinces and cities nationwide has exceeded 1 billion doses. Among them, it took only 5 days to go from 900 million doses to over 1 billion doses, and the average number of inoculations per day exceeded 20 million.

However, the higher the number of vaccinated people, the higher the number of viral infections.

Take Guangdong as an example. According to a report by "21st Century Finance and Economics", the number of inoculations in Guangdong exceeds 100 million doses, ranking first in the country. According to the data provided by the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, as of 6 pm on 20 June, Guangdong had a total of 101,124,300 doses of vaccination, a total of 66,744,600 vaccination, a total of 35,721,700 people completed the entire vaccination, a coverage rate of 28.35%.

However, Guangdong is currently almost in a state of "half-closed province", and the epidemic is the worst among all provinces in the country. A 48-hour nucleic acid negative certificate is required to leave the province from Shenzhen; Dongguan has closed management of 13 communities, and all employees have undergone nucleic acid testing; Foshan has recently caused public grievances due to the delayed unblocking. Online video shows that tens of thousands of Guangzhou residents lined up in the stadium all night waiting for nucleic acid testing.

According to "Our World in Data" statistics from Oxford University's online database, nine of the ten most severely affected countries in the world use Chinese vaccines.

JPMorgan Chase’s report in mid-June showed that the epidemic situation in eight countries rose instead of falling after being vaccinated with Chinese-made vaccines. The more vaccinations, the more infections there are.
