Source : CARNOC

On 24 June 2021, there is a new confirmed case of covid in Lanzhou, Gansu. Patient: Ding XX, female, 27 years old, from Linxia City, Linxia Prefecture, currently living in Qilihe District, Lanzhou. The patient boarded China Southern Airlines flight CZ8140 from Islamabad, Pakistan at 9 pm on 31 May,  arrived in Wuhan at 5 am on 1 June. Days of concentrated quarantine medical observation, during which 4 nucleic acid tests were performed, the results were all negative.

After the quarantine was lifted on 15 June, Ding was lifted from the central quarantine point in Wuhan to Tianhe International Airport by bus, and with her son boarded flight CZ6617 to Lanzhou Zhongchuan Airport at 6.46 pm. After getting off the plane, they took a private car to the Lanzhou University First Hospital to visit Ding's father-in-law, mother-in-law and husband but they  did not enter the hospital. They met at the door and left after a short stay. They returned home at around 9 pm for a 7-day home health monitoring.

On 16 June, Ding took a private car and her son to the Qilihe centralized isolation point to collect nasopharyngeal swabs for nucleic acid testing. The result was negative.

They did not go out from 17 to 22 June.

At 8.30 am on 23 June, Ding and her son took a taxi (Gan A81532) in the alley at the gate of the community, and took the back row to the centralized isolation point in Qilihe District (Time Recall B&B) to take nasopharyngeal swabs (driver, Ding and her son wear masks all the way), got off the bus outside the quarantine point on Xijin Road. After sampling at 9.10 am, they took a taxi (Gan A80174) across the road from the quarantine point and returned home (the driver, Ding and her son. The child wears a mask all the way). After getting off the bus at the alley of his residential area at 9:41,  Ding and her son and parents ate at a nearby beef noodle restaurant, and walked back home at 10.23 am. At 3.40 pm, Ding took a private car to Lanzhou Eastern Market with his son, parents, and sister-in-law, and got off at the parking lot in front of the Eastern Brand Clothing Wholesale Plaza at the entrance of the Eastern Market. He entered the boutique city at 4.09 pm, stayed on the first floor, wandered around on the second floor, did not enter the shop, and then went up to the third floor to enter a few shops (the shop name is unknown), did not buy or try on. At 4.51 pm, they entered the mall from the west gate of the New Century Mall, on the second floor a store at the elevator entrance (the name of the store is unknown) where they stayed for 5 minutes and then left. At 5.50 pm, they took a private car to return home. Six people wore masks throughout the journey, and none of the last six went out.

At present, Ding XX has been transferred to Lanzhou Pulmonary Hospital for further diagnosis and treatment. Ding’s family and two taxi drivers have been sent to a centralized isolation point for isolation and medical observation. At the same time, the disinfection staff of the Qilihe District CDC disinfected the corridor, front of the building, and 2 taxis in Ding's home and community unit building. Chengguan District's eastern market has been completely disinfected.

Tourists, people, and close contacts who have the same time period as the patient during the above period are at risk of contracting the virus. Please report and register in the community (village) where you live as soon as possible, actively cooperate with the community investigation work, and do a continuous 14 Days of isolation medical observation measures.

The part of the virus sequences that the US NIH deleted at the request of the Chinese side has been restored

Studying the early genetic sequence of the virus is of great significance for tracing the origin of the covid epidemic. (Schematic diagram of CCP virus and gene chain) (Image by PixxlTeufel from Pixabay)

A year ago, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) deleted hundreds of early-stage Chinese Communist viruses (SARS-CoV-2) gene sequences from a key scientific database at the request of Chinese personnel. Recently, a researcher in Seattle has successfully recovered 13 of the deleted gene sequences. Experts said that these sequences indicate that SARS-CoV-2 had spread elsewhere for some time before the outbreak in the Wuhan seafood market.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday (24 June 2021) that about a year ago, at the request of Chinese researchers, the National Institutes of Health deleted 241 early SARS-CoV-2 virus samples from a key scientific database. gene sequence. According to the report, this move may prevent scientists studying the origin of the epidemic from obtaining key information, making it more difficult to trace the source of the virus.

NIH subsequently issued a statement acknowledging that it was true, but also explained that these sequences were submitted to the NIH database by Chinese researchers in March 2020, but three months later, the personnel applied for deletion of these sequences. In accordance with industry practices, "researchers who submit data have relevant rights to their data and can request data to be withdrawn".

Neither the Wall Street Journal report nor the NIH statement mentions the name of the Chinese researcher, but Jesse Bloom, a virologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle published a new paper  on Tuesday that mentioned that the sequencing data was deleted after submission, and disclosed that the sequence data was collected and submitted by a scientist named Fu Aisi at Wuhan People’s Hospital

According to Bloom's paper, the deleted data included gene sequences extracted from virus samples from hospitalized patients or suspected cases of covid collected in Wuhan between January and February 2020. The genetic sequence of the virus sample can provide key clues about how SARS-CoV-2 was transferred from another animal (probably a bat) into the human body, and the genetic sequence of the virus in the early stages of the pandemic can bring scientists closer to the the truth about the virus origin, but on the act of the Chinese personnel deleting these sequences "it seems to be to conceal their existence."

According to the narrative of this paper, when Bloom was reviewing viral genetic data released by researchers from various countries after the outbreak of the Chinese Communist pneumonia outbreak, he saw that a study in March 2020 contained 241 data collected by scientists at Wuhan University which contain information about a gene sequence. However, when he searched for these sequences in an online database called "Sequence Read Archive", he found that the relevant information had been deleted.

Bloom did not give up the search for these materials. After searching a large amount of medical literature, he found that some of the deleted materials can still be found in a paper published in a small journal.

After further studying the archives, Bloom found that many sequences are stored in the form of files in a file in Google Cloud, and the names of those files have the same basic format. So, he tried to replace the code of a missing sequence in Wuhan, and he successfully recovered 13 deleted viral gene sequences from Google Cloud.

Next, Bloom combined these 13 sequences with other early published coronavirus sequences, hoping to make progress in constructing the SARS-CoV-2 family tree. As a result, he found that the genetic sequences of some virus samples at the beginning of the outbreak in Wuhan Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in December 2019 showed that the viruses on these markets had three additional mutations, and these mutations were missing from other SARS-CoV-2 samples collected from elsewhere a few weeks later, including the deleted sequence he recovered from the cloud, and there are no additional mutations. "They are three times more similar to the bat coronavirus than the virus in the Huanan Seafood Market."

The above situation shows that SARS-CoV-2 may have been spreading elsewhere in Wuhan for a period of time before the epidemic broke out in the Huanan Seafood Market.

The New York Times reported that, in response to Bloom’s above discovery, Michael Worobey, an evolutionary biologist at the University of Arizona, commented, “This is undoubtedly a great investigative work. This greatly advances the efforts to understand the origin of SARS-CoV-2."

Based on recovery of deleted data,  Experts believe that the spread of the virus precedes the outbreak in Wuhan

Reporter : Li Zhaoxi / Editor : Li Jia / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/06/24/a103150303.html / Translation, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA / Video: https://www.youmaker.com/video/d91d02b2-af60-4872-8af4-ffc9c0e43806

Is there any new evidence that SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus, covi) comes from a laboratory leak? On Wednesday (23 June), an American virology professor released the evidence he said. He recovered some of the key data on the first confirmed covid patients in Wuhan, which were "deleted". These sample data seem to indicate that the CCP virus had been circulating in Wuhan before the outbreak of the Wuhan seafood market in December 2019.

Professor Jesse Bloom, a virologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, who specializes in cancer and deadly infectious diseases research in Seattle, USA, discovered the deleted data and managed to restore it In part, he said, they show that covi has spread long before China’s official timetable.

Professor Bloom stated that he believes the files were deleted to "cover their existence." In a scientific article entitled "Recovery of deleted deep sequencing data sheds more light on the early Wuhan SARS-CoV-2 epidemic"  published on the bioRxiv preprint server, he detailed his findings.

Forty-five positive samples of covi were initially uploaded by Wuhan University to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) sequence reading archives in early March 2020. These samples are part of a study that uses PCR tests to diagnose patients with the Chinese Communist Party virus. They were uploaded just a few days before the Chinese government issued an order that requires approval for all publication of coronavirus data.

Professor Bloom pointed out that all these 45 samples later disappeared from the database, "there is no reasonable scientific reason." He pointed out that it is usually relatively easy for scientists to request their genetic samples to be deleted from the NIH database via e-mail.

Bloom used Google Cloud to partially restore the samples and reconstructed some of the gene sequences of 13 early-circle CCP viruses. He noticed that there are several genetic differences between the strains in the deleted samples and the viruses that eventually spread around the world.

Professor Bloom said that under normal circumstances, if the CCP virus really comes from the Wuhan Huanan Seafood Market, “then we should expect the samples taken from this market to be most like the coronavirus from bats”, and as the virus spreads among humans , It will inevitably mutate little by little so that it no longer resembles the "ancestor" virus that infects patient zero.

But Bloom said that these samples show that this is not the case. He said that the phylogenetic analysis of these gene sequences shows that the viral gene sequence of the Huanan Seafood Market, which is the focus of the WHO-China joint report, does not fully represent the early outbreak in Wuhan. In contrast, the "ancestor" of the known SARS-CoV-2 gene sequence may contain 3 mutations relative to the market virus.

Bloom did not explicitly say that this means a laboratory leak, but if the similarity between the market-related virus sample and the bat coronavirus is lower than the sample collected from people who are not related to the market, then logically speaking, the virus from animals on the market are less likely to infect humans.

British experts told the British "Daily Mail" that this confirmed the long-standing suspicion that the CCP virus had begun to spread before December 2019.

Lawrence Young, a professor of molecular oncology at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom, said that this shows how important it is to understand the early spread of SARS-CoV-2, and that any future investigations really need to seriously study the whole issue. He pointed out, "What is particularly worrying is that key data was deleted after being uploaded, which is a very strange behavior."

Dominic Cummings, former chief adviser to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, said that Professor Bloom's findings further point to the "laboratory leak" theory. Sir Patrick Vallance, the chief scientific adviser to the British government, testified to the Special Committee of the House of Lords: "We really need to make sure that we understand what is really happening in the advanced virology laboratory."

The source of the epidemic directly points to Wuhan, the CCP deleted data adds more doubts

Reporter : Chen Han / Editor : Huang Yimei / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/06/24/a103150399.html / Translation, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) confirmed that a Chinese researcher submitted relevant genetic sequencing data three months later and requested to be retracted. The outside world is worried that the traceability of the epidemic will be affected. The traceability of the new wave of the epidemic is directed at Wuhan, and the CCP authorities have repeatedly deleted information, only to make the outside world more questionable about China's continuous investigation of the origin of the epidemic.

The Wall Street Journal disclosed on 23 June that Chinese researchers had asked the US to delete the genetic data of SARS-CoV-2. NIH confirmed that this happened.

According to the US NIH statement, the Chinese researchers who submitted the genetic sequencing data requested deletion in June 2020 on the grounds that the relevant data has been updated and will be published in another unknown database. The researchers hope to delete the old version of the data to avoid causing confusion. Because the submitted researcher holds the ownership of the data and can request to take it back, the NIH has deleted it as required.

Qin Peng, a political and economic analyst in the United States, "The CCP's request for deletion has actually been exposed. It still has to continue to cover up the truth, so I think it is actually not a good thing for the CCP's reputation."

In a new paper published online by American virologist Jesse Bloom, the article also mentions the deletion of genetic sequencing data. He stated that the deleted data included the sequencing of virus samples collected from patients who sought medical treatment or were suspected of being infected with covid in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China from January to February 2020. Some of the deleted materials can also be found in a paper published in a small journal. Bloom emphasized that the request to remove information will only make the outside world question the CCP’s openness and transparency in continuing to investigate the origin of the epidemic.

Qin Peng commented, "So far, all the genetic sequencing data submitted by China and obtained internationally are very clearly pointing to one source, which is from Wuhan, China. So at this point, the CCP is actually no longer any way concealing it. So at present, all the CCP is doing is destroying data and obstructing investigations. It is absolutely impossible to open investigations."

The Wall Street Journal also reviewed key events that occurred in a seafood market, a virus laboratory, and a mountain copper mine in China to piece together the possibility of the origin of this global health crisis.

Li Youtan, a professor at the National Development Research Institute of National Chengchi University, Taiwan, said, "When Wuhan was closed and the people of Wuhan could not go to various places in mainland China, (the CCP) actually let them come to the world by plane, and told the world that there would be no human-to-human transmission. At the beginning of the epidemic, they first dealt with and punished those who announced the epidemic. The so-called first punishment of whistleblowers caused the epidemic to be uncontrollable. If information is transparent, like a democratic country, everyone enjoys freedom of speech, then the epidemic can be easily put out."

The British "Times" reported in a report "The Infinite Error: the secret story of a pandemic that should have been avoided", Fabrizio Gatti, the author of "The Infinite Error: the secret story of apandemic that should have been avoided", had been contacting several members of the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and the WIV deleted the names of these people from their website.

Gatti pointed out that there are two Chinese military scientists on the list of the Wuhan Institute of Virology Committee, one is Wang Hongyang of the Second Military Medical University, who served as the deputy director of the Wuhan Academic Committee from 2019 to 2020, and the other is Wang Fusheng from the CCP 302 Military Hospital.

Qin Peng said, "The Chinese Communist Party’s National Health Commission issued a No. 3 document on 3 January 2020, forcing these studies. Chinese research institutions and researchers are not allowed to share these samples of the virus or special materials, etc., with the international experts and society, so there is no way internationally to grasp the data that led to the evolution of many related viruses this time."

White House National Security Adviser Sullivan said recently that if the Chinese Communist Party refuses to cooperate with the international community’s request for further investigation of the source of SARS-CoV-2, Beijing will face international isolation.

Li Youtan said, "Continuous pressure, I think it will be effective, because first, the CCP may have more and more people fleeing, or important people have been captured in the West. It is already known that the laboratory virus cannot escape. It is possible that in the course of the political struggle next year whether the CCP’s political power will Xi Jinping continue to be in power, internal and external pressure will force internal rebellion, so that the CCP may think that Xi Jinping has caused a catastrophe."

After 18 world-renowned biologists questioned the conclusions of the WHO investigation team, US President Biden ordered the intelligence system to investigate the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Whether the international community can complete the investigation of the "source of the epidemic" is still uncertain. However, what is certain is that the new wave of the epidemic is directly directed at Wuhan.

A covid outbreak during the 2019 Wuhan Military Games? U.S. congressman wants to investigate

U.S. Representative Mike Gallagher said on Thursday (24 June) that congressmen are urging Biden government to investigate the World Military Games held in Wuhan, China in October 2019. This was a potential super-spreading event of COVID-19, and the time point was a few months before the CCP first reported a case of COVID-19.

In October 2019, more than 9,000 international athletes from more than 100 countries traveled to Wuhan, China. Many of them later developed symptoms similar to COVID-19. However, no real investigation has been conducted as to whether the virus that causes COVID-19 has spread at the Wuhan Military Games. Now, many US lawmakers are asking the US government to start an investigation.

Gallagher told the Fox News program "Fox & Friends" that 284 Americans, including athletes and staff, participated in the 2019 Wuhan Military Games. Global athletes came to Wuhan in October 2019. This should be It was two months before the Chinese government admitted that they had the epidemic.

Gallagher said that these two critical months could have helped the United States to understand the disease, stop travel earlier to stop the spread of the virus, and ultimately save the lives of millions of potential people.

"Washington Post" columnist Josh Rogin said in an article on June 23 that the U.S. Congress wants to investigate whether the 2019 Wuhan World Military Games is a COVID-19 super-spreading event.

Luo Jin said in the article that during the two-week military games, many international athletes noticed something wrong with Wuhan. Some people later said that Wuhan was like a "ghost city" at the time.

As the COVID-19 pandemic raged around the world in early 2020, athletes from several countries including France, Germany, Italy and Luxembourg publicly claimed that they had contracted what they believed to be COVID-19 at the Wuhan Games. Their conclusions are based on their symptoms and how they spread the disease to those who love them.

Despite this, no investigation has attempted to find out whether the Wuhan Military Games actually became a COVID-19 super-spreading event.

Luo Jin said that if more evidence is found, it will become more and more powerful to show that the virus was circulating in Wuhan as early as October 2019, a few months earlier than the Chinese government’s public disclosure. US intelligence reports stated that researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were hospitalized in November 2019 due to COVID-19-like symptoms. But US officials said they have other information that the time of the outbreak was even earlier.

Determining the timeline of the origin of COVID-19 is a critical task. Lawmakers now say that the United States needs to do its best to figure out wherever the data ultimately points.

"Given that questions about the origin of the pandemic have not yet been answered, the health information of military personnel participating in the 2019 Games can provide key evidence for understanding when COVID-19 first appeared." Gallagher gave a report on Monday (21 June) in the letter from US Secretary of Defense Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley.

Gallagher wanted to know whether American athletes had been tested for antibodies and whether the virus was spreading at the base when they returned to the United States.

He also wanted to know whether the Pentagon shared information with military personnel from other countries participating in the games.

After obtaining this information, Gallagher urged the Pentagon to talk to the American athletes participating in the Wuhan Military Games to obtain necessary information related to their medical history, which will help public officials "establish a timeline about the source of the coronavirus".

Gallagher said that establishing a timeline is crucial to understanding the source of the virus and to respond to the systematic cover-ups carried out by the CCP through active propaganda activities. Part of this propaganda activity is to accuse the U.S. military of spreading the virus.

"We cannot accept that the Communists lie to us. They (the CCP) are deceiving us with false information, and in many cases they are conspiring with the mainstream media and some people in our own public health community." Gallagher Say.

In addition to Gallagher, Republican Senator Roger Marshall  wrote a separate letter to the Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra on this issue on Tuesday (22 June 22) and asked if the Ministry of Health knew of any American athletes who fell ill after returning from Wuhan, he also wants to know whether the Ministry of Health and Human Services is investigating this issue or discussing it with the Ministry of Defense.

Marshall wrote that the World Military Games is close to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and athletes may be exposed to COVID-19 when participating in the event. These details show a shocking coincidence. "Our government must conduct an investigation to determine the accuracy of the outbreak. timeline". "If these people were exposed to (the virus) in October, this evidence will further help us understand the origin of COVID-19 and prepare for future outbreaks."

The Chinese Communist Party’s official propaganda last year stated that the U.S. military might have brought the virus from Fort Detrick, a military base in Maryland, to Wuhan, where the U.S. Army’s biological research project is based. But Luo Jin said that this argument is unreasonable, because the first outbreak of the epidemic was in Wuhan, not Maryland.

Robert Redfield, former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said that he believes that the virus began to spread in Wuhan during September or October 2019, and there is more evidence that the virus started in December 2019 has appeared in the United States.

Recently, American political circles and scientists have increasingly called for investigations into the "laboratory leak theory."

The Wall Street Journal disclosed a previously undisclosed US intelligence report on May 23, stating that as early as one month before the covid outbreak, three researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology fell ill and sought medical attention at the same time. This report triggered calls from the international community to further investigate the origin of the virus.

Luo Jin said that if the Biden administration seriously investigates the origin of the virus as it claims, it must test the antibodies of all US military personnel in Wuhan Military Games, and then try to trace any virus outbreaks that may have come from a trip to Wuhan. Other countries where athletes are sick must do the same.

Shenzhen will gradually resume some domestic flights, more than 90% of cargo flights have been carried out normally

Reporters : Wu Huijun, Yang Zhen, Miao Hongwei / Direct translation

On 24 June, at the Shenzhen Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Press Conference, Chen Fanhua, General Manager of Shenzhen Airport Co., Ltd., introduced that the daily average flights at the airport will be 6 days from June 19 (June 19 to 24). At about 320 sorties, the total number of flights was about 40% of the beginning of this month. Among them, there were more than 200 sorties of domestic passenger inbound and outbound flights every day, and the operation was relatively stable. In the next step, with the gradual recovery of support capabilities, Shenzhen will integrate the needs of epidemic prevention and control and passenger travel needs, evaluate the dynamics with airlines, and gradually resume some domestic flights.

In terms of international passenger flights, Shenzhen Airport has also made corresponding adjustments, only retaining individual cities, strictly implementing epidemic prevention requirements, and implementing full-process closed-loop management of international passenger inbound flights, which does not overlap with domestic flight guarantees.

In terms of freight, Shenzhen Airport has made every effort to ensure the normal operation of freight business, strive to stabilize the supply chain, and reduce the impact of the epidemic on Shenzhen and surrounding enterprises. From June 14 to 20, Shenzhen Airport guaranteed a total of 782 cargo flights and a cargo and mail throughput of 30,300 tons, which was basically the same as the same period last month. From June 19th to 23rd, Shenzhen Airport guaranteed about 100 cargo flights every day. Except for a small number of cargo flights, over 90% of cargo flights were carried out normally. On June 26, a new "Shenzhen-Los Angeles" international freight route will be opened, and the overall logistics business will run smoothly.

At the same time, Chen Fanhua also reminded that all personnel who currently leave Shenzhen and enter the terminal from Shenzhen Airport are required to issue a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within 48 hours and a health code "green code". In recent inspections, it was discovered that hundreds of passengers were persuaded to return for failing to provide valid nucleic acid test certificates every day. Here, Shenzhen Airport reminds passengers who plan to leave Shenzhen to carry out nucleic acid testing in advance to ensure that the test results are obtained in time, and at the same time to ensure that the health code is a "green code" to avoid delays in the itinerary.

Guangzhou Fangcun unblocked: Residents set off fireworks to celebrate, cherish hard-won achievements

Reporter : Sun Qiuxia / Editor : Yuan Jingjing / http://www.chinanews.com/sh/2021/06-24/9506286.shtml / Direct translation

In the afternoon of 24 June, the Fangcun area of Liwan, Guangzhou (except for the Heyuan community) resumed the passage of external personnel and traffic. Previously, Fangcun area was closed and controlled, and personnel could only enter and exit. The unblocking news excited the residents of the Fangcun area of Liwan, Guangzhou. Some people set off salutes to celebrate, others hung national flags on their balconies, and others deliberately drove to the Hedong Bridge just to experience the "feeling of Fangcun Village."

At 2.50 pm, the reporter came to the Hedong Bridge and saw that the traffic police were gradually evacuating the roadblocks to allow vehicles to pass smoothly. During the closure management period, vehicles cannot leave Fangcun from the Hedong Bridge. After the ban was unblocked, everyone couldn't wait to go outside, and the traffic from Fangcun was endless, and there were even traffic jams for a while.

A resident of Fangcun who was riding an electric bicycle came to the Hedong Bridge to check if it was really unblocked. He told reporters that he worked near Changgang in Haizhu District and lived in Changgang on weekdays. After Fangcun was sealed and managed, he had not returned home for more than 20 days. After seeing the unblocking of the Hedong Bridge with his own eyes, he could not wait to go home. He had to go back to the dormitory again because he was too in a hurry to forget to take his wallet when he left.

In Baihedong Street in the Fangcun area, the reporter saw that some shops were opening for business, including milk tea shops and roast meat shops. During the closure management period, the street shops are all closed.

Ms. Hu, who lives in Baihedong Street, told reporters that she lives in Area A of Huawan District, Zhonghai, and has been quarantined since 27 May. It has been 30 days since then, during which 15 nucleic acid tests have been performed.

"When the neighborhood committee and the property informed us to do nucleic acid testing yesterday, they reminded us that this nucleic acid test is very important, and it is related to the issue of unblocking. Everyone guessed in their hearts that it should be unblocked soon." Ms. Hu said: "We started early this morning. I started to wait for news, and announced the release after 2 pm. Everyone was very happy."

The reporter saw at the gate of Zhonghai Huawan Community that an exhibition of epidemic paintings was standing on the side of the road. Many owners had signed their names, and some painted some patterns with the words "unblocked" and "Guangzhou must win". It is understood that this is a spontaneous organization of the owners to commemorate the day of unblocking.

Ms. Hu told reporters that the first thing after the unblocking was to go downstairs and take a photo with the neighbors to commemorate the difficult 30 days. "We didn't know each other before. This time the epidemic has increased communication with each other. After unblocking, we wanted to go downstairs and take a picture together."

Mr. Huang is a volunteer in the Guanggang Xincheng District. He was mainly responsible for delivering materials upstairs during the quarantine period. He told reporters that after learning of the unblocking news, he wore a red dress and drove out for a stroll.

"When I drove to the parking lot, I felt the mood of those car owners 'just about to move'. Everyone is just like me, just to go out and have a look and want to go out and feel it. I posted it just now when I was crossing the Hedong Bridge. A circle of friends said that this is a bridge that cannot be crossed in twenty days. Today I can finally cross it." Mr. Huang said.

Talking about the period of closed control management, Mr. Huang told reporters that everyone’s mood can be described as ups and downs. "At first, we didn't know how to deal with it. After the government's supporting measures gradually matured, everyone's emotions calmed down. This period is really not easy. I hope everyone will cherish the hard-won results."

The reporter saw in the Huawan District of Zhonghai that some owners had spontaneously prepared milk, thermos cups, snacks, etc. and prepared them to give to volunteers, thanking them for their silent dedication. In addition to some gifts, the residents of the community also sent a small card to each volunteer with the handwritten signatures of all the residents, and also selected a few photos of the volunteers to put together.

"During closed management, our daily supplies were delivered upstairs by volunteers. They worked very hard and they had to wear protective clothing when the weather was very hot. To thank them, we prepared some practical things because the express delivery has not been completed yet. Some items were taken out by residents from their homes for recovery." said Mr. Wu, a resident of Zhonghai Huawan Community.

To celebrate the release of the blockade, the property manager of Fangcun No. 1 Community gave the residents red apples, hoping everyone will be safe.

Texas sues Biden administration over releasing covid infected illegal immigrants

Reporter : Jack Phillips / Publisher : The Epoch Times PREMIUM

The state of Texas and a group led by former Trump administration adviser Stephen Miller filed a lawsuit to stop the Biden administration’s catch-and-release border policy, claiming it is allowing COVID-19-infected illegal immigrants to enter the United States.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Miller’s America First Legal filed court papers (pdf) in a federal court against President Joe Biden, saying the policy would cost taxpayers millions of dollars while imperiling public safety.

The pair was focusing on the White House’s February decision to suspend the Trump-era policy of forcing illegal aliens to return to their country of origin amid the COVID-19 pandemic, using a provision known as Title 42 to block them from entering. Biden ended the provision and has released unaccompanied children and families into the United States, where they ostensibly await immigration court dates.

“In the other words, at the same time the Administration is urging Americans to get vaccinated, they are resettling thousands of unvaccinated illegal aliens into their cities, towns, and schools–and placing the cost and burden of all healthcare services for these new arrivals in the taxpayer tab,” said Miller in a statement about the lawsuit.

Miller argued that if illegal aliens who are not vaccinated are allowed to enter U.S. communities, it will lower the percentage of “that community’s population that has received a vaccine.” As a result, he argued, it will be moved “further away from the herd immunity threshold.”

Recent data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) show that more than 180,000 illegal immigrants were arrested by agents in May. That figure, according to critics and former officials, represents the highest number of encounters in decades.

Starting in January, Biden has issued dozens of immigration-related executive orders, with many rescinding policies that were set during former President Donald Trump’s time in office. That included suspending construction of the border wall, the “remain in Mexico” policy, the policy that required immigrants from getting visas unless they proved they could obtain health insurance or pay for health care, and more.

Biden and other White House officials explained that the administration’s executive actions were done to promote a more humanitarian agenda along the border, while claiming that the Trump-era policies were ineffective and divisive. Trump, in a number of statements after leaving office, has categorically denied their assertions.

Miller also argued that the Biden administration’s policy has violated guidelines promulgated by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other federal health agencies regarding mask-wearing, social distancing, and more.

“This anarchistic catch-and-release policy plainly and facially violates the administration’s own public health guidelines, regulations, and directives,” he said in a statement. “While Americans are still required to wear masks on planes and the CDC is still trying to shut down many aspects of daily life, the government is actively facilitating the entry of illegal aliens whose journey is defined by the radical absence of health protocols.”

He added that the “mass release” of untested and unvaccinated illegal immigrations poses a significant health threat for “all Americans” and “is explicitly contrary to the administration’s publicly stated goal of reopening through vaccination.”

The Republican Party of the U.S. House of Representatives will hold a hearing on the origin of the epidemic, focusing on WIV

Reporter : Gao Shan / Editor : Ye Ziwei / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/6/25/n13046081.htm / Direct translation

House Republicans asked the Speaker of the House of Representatives and California Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi to hold a hearing on Thursday (24 June) to investigate the source of SARS-CoV-2 (virus) / COVID-19 (disease). At the press conference, Republicans said that because the Democrats refused to hold the hearing, they planned to hold it themselves.

According to Fox News, the House of Representatives Republican whip, Louisiana Republican Rep. Steve Scalise, in a meeting with the Chairman of the House Republican Conference, New York State Republican Rep. Elise · The news was announced at a press conference held by Elise Stefanik and members of the GOP Doctors Caucus.

Scalis said that Republicans “request Speaker Pelosi of the House of Representatives to hold a hearing to investigate the origin of COVID-19. For more than a year, Republicans in the House of Representatives have been making such calls because of what we have heard. More and more reports and evidence from China indicate that this evil virus may originate from the Wuhan laboratory."

Scalis also added, “However, Speaker Pelosi still refuses to hold a hearing on the origin of COVID-19.” “Why does Speaker Pelosi try to cover up what China (the Chinese Communist Party) is doing?”

Stephen Nick said, "The evidence is clear. China (the CCP) lied and caused the death of Americans."

Scarlett said that just this past Wednesday, he asked the chairman of the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis and the South Carolina Democratic Rep. Jim Clyburn  A hearing on the origin of the virus was held, but Kleborn refused. But Scarlett, a senior member of the committee, said that Republicans will solve the problem themselves.

He said: "Republicans will not stand by and watch. Next week, Republicans on the COVID-19 Special Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the origin of SARS-CoV-2. It will be held next Tuesday." We have invited many respected doctors, scientists, and congressmen who independently investigated this matter to stand up to testify. "

Scarlett also added that despite this, he still hopes that the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives can hold a hearing on the origin of SARS-CoV-2, because they have the right to subpoena, and next week only the Republicans will participate in the hearing, without such power.

According to a press conference on Thursday, former Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services Brett Giroir and Hudson Institute senior researcher David Asher The Ph.D. will attend the Republican Committee hearing next Tuesday.

Pelosi’s office countered that the House of Representatives is investigating the source of SARS-CoV-2.

Pelosi spokesperson Henry Connelly said in a statement: "If Republicans are really interested in the real answer, they probably should remember, in addition to the assessment conducted by the Biden administration itself. , The House Intelligence Committee is also reviewing intelligence on this matter."

In the early stages of the outbreak, most public health experts and government officials quickly ruled out the possibility that the CCP virus was spilling from a laboratory in Wuhan, China.

However, the development of evidence has changed the minds of many people. President Biden ordered the intelligence community to "double" its efforts to "collect and analyze" information, which may bring the United States closer to a "certain conclusion" on the origin of the virus. However, some people still insist that this virus is more likely to be transmitted from animals to humans on the market.

Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Republican of Iowa, said on Thursday that identifying the source of the virus is crucial regardless of where the virus comes from.

She said: "This is related to public health, national security, and more importantly, how we respond to the next epidemic."

Representative Michael Burgess of Texas added to this that it is not enough to believe the Chinese government's claims about the source of the virus.

Burgess said: "It's like believing Winnie the Pooh's words, saying that he will guard the honey pot." He was referring to the fact that Winnie the Pooh is banned in China. Previously, Chinese citizens laughed online at Xi Jinping for looking like a cartoon character-Winnie the Pooh.

Exposure of the reasons for the increase in white hair. Research: White hair can turn black!

Reporter : Li Yun / Editor : Li Quan / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/06/25/a103151026.html / Direct translation

As we get older, more and more people are distressed by their white hair, even young people will grow white hair. A recent study found that the key factor behind the growth of gray hair in the human body is stress. Not only that, research has also found that hair that has turned white can also return to black.

In a new study published in the scientific journal of eLife on June 22, the Columbia University research team conducted a very delicate study on the hair of multiple volunteers and found that human hair grows like tree rings, with each new growth. The parts that come out can reflect the current biological and psychological conditions of the living body.

The researchers carefully observed all the details of the subjects’ hair, found out the time point when their hair turned white, and compared the relative values of the subjects’ birth and psychological stress during that period, and finally found that the whitening of the hair and the individual’s stress were present. Highly correlated. In other words, the key factor behind the growth of gray hair in the human body is stress.

Not only that, the researchers also found that when the subjects relax and rest, their white hair will return to black. This proves that the black hair whitening can be reversed to some extent. It is possible to increase the length of relaxation. Let the white hair turn back to black.

According to the researchers, one of the subjects’ white hair recorded on his head temporarily returned to black during vacation, and the period of return to black coincided with that during vacation.

Therefore, the researchers believe that a 70-year-old man who has been grey hair for many years may regain black hair if he reduces stress.

Some British scientists have previously identified genes related to gray hair. In the future, it is possible to use the research results to develop drugs to improve gray hair or delay the development of gray hair.

Health websites have also stated that mental factors are one of the black hair killers. Emotional changes can easily make the body's nerve dysfunction, so the function of secreting melanin will also be hindered, which affects the synthesis and transportation of pigment particles, and a lot of gray hair will grow.

The report said that some young people have a lot of white hair in a short period of time, which is closely related to serious mental trauma or excessive fatigue such as high work pressure, excessive anxiety, and sadness. Due to extreme tension, sadness and other negative emotions, it often causes a series of rapid changes in the body, causing serious endocrine disorders, and making people appear gray hair in a short period of time.

People who are stressed are prone to hair loss, and it is also easy to accelerate the aging of the human body, making people appear gray hair early. Try to relax your mind as much as possible, you can listen to soothing music, or find a coffee shop to sit, drink coffee, daze, and calm yourself.

According to the British media BBC report, University College London scholar Kaustubh Adhikari recruited 6000 volunteers to provide DNA samples. The study found that the gene that affects gray hair is "IRF4", which consumes hair follicles in some way. The melanin, and with age, the melanin gradually fades, resulting in gray hair.

Adicari said that "IRF4" may not be the only gene that causes no-blood growth, but the discovery of "IRF4" still provides a new research goal for the scientific team, and is expected to develop drugs that delay no-blood growth.

British study: The epidemic may have spread globally in January 2020
Reporter : Xu Jian / Editor : Li Huanyu / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/6/25/n13047305.htm / Translation, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA
According to a new study by scientists, SARS-CoV-2 may have spread in China from October to mid-November 2019. It is two months earlier than the so-called "official record" announced by the CCP, and it may have spread to the world in January 2020.
The first case confirmed by the CCP was in December 2019 and claimed to be related to the Wuhan Huanan Seafood Market.
According to a paper published in the international academic journal "PLOS Pathogens", researchers at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom found through a model that SARS-CoV-2 first appeared in early October to mid-November 2019. This study shows that the most likely date for the virus to appear is 17 November 2019. By January 2020, SARS-CoV-2 may have spread globally.
Scientists’ calculations show that the first cases outside mainland China could occur in Japan on 3 January while the outbreak in Spain around 12 January was the first infection in Europe and the first infection in the United States happened around 16 January.
According to a joint study published by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Chinese experts at the end of March, it is believed that before the outbreak in Wuhan, there may have been sporadic human infections. The report also believes that the virus is "very unlikely" the laboratory leakage from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. "It is very likely" that it was passed from animals to humans via an unknown intermediate host. This statement has been widely questioned by scientists. Western society has called for another investigation of the origin of the virus.
In addition, Reuters reported that Jesse Bloom, an evolutionary biologist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, USA, reconstructed the sequencing data of deleted early patients. The data shows that the “SARS-CoV-2” sample obtained from the Huanan Seafood Market is not representative, and it is a variant of the progenitor sequence that has previously spread and spread to other parts of China. This also proves that the virus is not the earliest found from the Huanan Seafood Market.

Will the source of the virus be unsolvable? Haynes blower?
Host : Li Muyang / Publisher : News Insights / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/06/25/a103150848.html / Direct translation
US National Intelligence Director Haynes accepted an interview with Yahoo News on the 21st. She stated that the true origin of the covid pandemic "may never be known."
Haynes said that she has been "closely monitoring" the assessment involving dozens of analysts and intelligence officials this time, and focused on the relevant details. Her team is seeking and collecting new intelligence that may reveal the source of the CCP virus, and conducting new analysis.
The top US intelligence official said that intelligence agencies have assessed the source of the virus for nearly a month, but "has not come closer to getting an answer." She said "hope to find conclusive evidence", but "this is very challenging" and "may happen or it may not". If there is no clear answer at the end of the 90-day evaluation, you can only report the truth to the Biden government.
I think Haines’s statement comes from two possibilities. One is to give yourself some leeway. Experienced politicians often "practice Tai Chi". Haynes once served as the deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and to what extent she should be more experienced in determining the yardstick.
To use a saying often said by the Chinese, "I would rather do too much than say too much". If you tell the big story in advance, but the result is not like that, you will be ridiculed, and you will gradually lose your credibility. Therefore, it is not ruled out that Haines remains "cautious".
Another possibility is that Haines is "blowing" in advance, and the virus traceability may eventually have no answer. But this result seems a bit embarrassing. Because Haines has 18 intelligence agencies and 17 national laboratories under investigation. If you really find the source of the virus, it shouldn't be particularly difficult.
