A man diagnosed with covid was admitted to Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital. According to the hospital, the patient went to the emergency department for screening on 22 May due to wheezing, coughing, and sputum. It was found that his blood oxygen concentration was low and his lung X-rays were infiltrated on both sides, and he was admitted on the 23rd for ICU intubation treatment.
The hospital stated that the patient was transferred to the special ward on the 28th and walked out of the ward with a drip at 1pm on 30 May He happened to be spotted by a nurse wearing a waterproof isolation gown. He was quickly placed back in the room and had a consultation.
