4000 people have no serious adverse reactions in MVC vaccine's second clinical trial, MVC safe to apply for EUA

MVC Vaccines on 10 June 2021 announced that its covi vaccine "MVC-COV1901" has passed the second clinical trial. 4000 people involved in the trial have reported no serious adverse reactions. Among this group,  about 85 people belong to the elderly group above 65 years old.

There were systemic adverse events. The vaccine group had a fever rate of less than 1%, and fatigue accounted for 36%.

MVC emphasized the success of "unblinding", and there is no major problem in vaccine safety. Therefore it will report to the Food and Drug Administration in the near future to apply for emergency use authorization, based on the standard of  the AZ vaccine.

The experimental group vaccinated with MVC vaccine will have to compare 200 people with AZ medical care. MVC vaccine antibody titers must have passed the AZ vaccine standard.

According to MVC Vaccines' announcement, "Clinical trials with a scale of about 4,000 people included 3815 effective subjects in the analysis during this period. They were safe and well tolerated, and none of the subjects had related serious adverse reactions after vaccination.”

At the end of January, the first subject began to administer the treatment. After several months of hard work, MVC Vaccines announced the success of "unblinding". Chen Canjian, General Manager of MVC Vaccines, said, "I think the proportion of fever, among all the vaccination shots, is a few very good safety indicators."

Safety is not too big a problem. Among the systemic adverse events, the vaccine group has a fever rate lower than 1%, fatigue accounted for 36%, muscle aches and headaches accounted for more than 20%, and the good news is the immune production data, regardless of age, the seroconversion rate is as high as 99.8%, the neutralizing antibody titer is 662, the GMT magnification ratio is 163 times, while in the 20- to 64-years-old vaccinator group, the seroconversion rate is also 99.9%. This important indicator number is very optimistic.

Chen Canjian, General Manager of MVC Vaccines, said, "This vaccine really seems to be very safe. It is still necessary to compare it with the competent authority, experts and committees, according to this standard."

MVC will apply for EUA in the shortest time. The information must be sent to the Food and Drug Administration for inspection in three major directions. Quality control, packaging and manufacturing must be reviewed first. The second is safety. Among the number of people admitted in the second phase, what proportion of the cases has adverse reactions, and the third is to evaluate the level of neutralizing antibody titer.

Wu Mingmei, deputy head of the drug group of the Food and Drug Administration, revealed, "I said how good our domestic vaccines are. That's what I said. In addition to reviewing clinical trial data, the most important thing is that we have to wait for the results of AZ. We can decide whether or not to use EUA.”

Based on the analysis of the number of people in Taiwan, the “protective power” cannot be seen in the second phase alone. The Food and Drug Administration requires that the AZ vaccine be used as the standard, and the experimental group vaccinated with MVC covi vaccine must be 200 people. Under the AZ medical and nursing comparison, the current group of medical nurses have completed two doses of vaccinations, the fastest blood can be drawn after the Dragon Boat Festival.

MVC vaccine antibody titers must "win" AZ to pass the evaluation procedures. Other MVC clinical evaluations are being carried out at the same time, and they are optimistic about "passing the EUA". The Food and Drug Administration will complete the review at the end of June at the earliest. According to the schedule, there will be a chance to start supplying the covi vaccine in mid-July.

The second phase of the covi vaccine successfully solved the blindness! MVC: Excellent safety and immunogenicity

Reporter :  Ye Weichen / Translation, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

As the local epidemic is heating up, when the third level alert will be lifted, vaccines become an important key. The MVC domestic vaccine manufacturer has suspended forex trade on 10 June 2021 with the approval of the OTC buying center. In the evening, a major news press conference was held at 5 pm to explain the blinding status of the second phase clinical trial of the covi vaccine "MVC-COV1901". The results showed that the vaccine is safe and can produce considerable immunogenicity. Will it be able to pass emergency authorization in July? It is subject to review by the Food and Drug Administration.

Li Sixian, executive vice president of MVC Vaccines, said that the participation of all subjects will be completed from 22 January 2021 until 28 April 2021. Thank you very much to the participants and 13 medical centers.

According to the requirements of the competent authority, the conditions will be completed on 28 May. The subject's serum was tested by the P3 laboratory of Academia Sinica. The relevant experimental data was sent to a third-party company for analysis under blind conditions. The data was received at 1 pm on 10 June, and the figures showed that the safety was well tolerated.

Li Sixian, executive vice president of a high-end company, presented the immunization data, and the subjects were tested on the 28th day of vaccination. The serum positive conversion rate reached 99.8%, and the neutralizing antibody titer (GMT Titer) reached 662. The ratio of the antibody preparation rate is 163 times, which shows a significant increase in multiples. He also pointed out that after vaccination, analysis of systemic adverse events showed that the vaccine group had a fever rate of 0.7%, fatigue rate was 36%, muscle aches rate was 27.6%, more than 20% of people had headache, 15.1% had diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting rate.

The most important local adverse reaction was pain at the injection site at 7.7%. The vaccine group was 71.2%, and most of the reactions were mild.

Sixian emphasized that the analysis data during this period shows that MVC-COV1901 does show good safety tolerability of the "subunit vaccine", and the ratio of systemic adverse reactions and local adverse reactions in the safety assessment is quite low.

Li Sixian said that after obtaining the analysis of the second phase, MVC will send the information to the Food and Drug Administration as soon as possible, and will also apply for the procedure of the International Medicine Certificate from the European Health Authority and other units.

As for the second phase clinical trial, the follow-up will continue for six months. At the same time, the safety of the third dose of clinical subjects in the first phase will continue to be administered, and the age group will continue to be tested.

The second phase of the MVC covi vaccine clinical trial is a double-blind trial, with a total of 3,815 participants, of which 6 out of 7 subjects used the trial vaccine, and another 1 out of 7 used a placebo, which is normal saline, regardless of whether he was a physician.

The subjects did not know who received the real vaccine, and all subjects had been given the vaccine on 28 April.

MVC Vaccines held a Phase II clinical trial independent data monitoring committee on 8 May 2021. It pointed out that there were no serious adverse events, special adverse reactions and vaccine-related enhanced diseases in the trial.

As for the high-end Phase I clinical trial, the analysis report was published on MedRxiv, an international biomedical database in April, and pointed out that 45 subjects, in addition to evaluating the safety of the vaccine, and low, medium, and high doses of immunogen found that the vaccine is safe, and there are no common side effects such as fever in the subjects, and the subjects in the high and medium dose groups have excellent immunogenicity.

MVC-COV1901 uses recombinant protein subunit technology to find the required pathogenic protein from the protein of the novel coronavirus coat, and use genetic engineering to implant the protein DNA sequence into cell culture, and then grow the virus protein and then purify it.

When a vaccine is made and injected into the human body, the immune system detects the virus protein and produces an immune response. Including Hepatitis B and HPV vaccines, they are all the same technology, but there is no such covi vaccine on the market in the world, because this technology itself requires more research and development time.

The Food and Drug Administration suddenly issued a press release this morning to announce that domestic vaccines have passed the emergency authorization standards. It is necessary to attach chemical manufacturing control data, animal test data, and all executed human clinical trials and risk-benefit evaluation reports, as well as safety evaluations.

According to the report, the neutralizing antibody titers obtained in the second phase of clinical trials of domestic vaccines must be proven not inferior to AZ vaccines.

UBI estimates "unblinding" by July

Following MVC Vaccines, Shi Chongliang, Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare, confirmed that another brand of domestic vaccines, United Biomedical Inc, Asia (UBI), is conducting data analysis. If it goes well, it is expected that blindness will be resolved in July and will apply for EUA emergency authorization as well.

White House Republicans demand Zuckerberg to surrender communications with Fauci over origin of SARS-CoV-2

Research, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

House Republicans sent a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg asking that he surrender any communications the social media giant has had with Dr. Anthony Fauci and other federal officials regarding the covid pandemic.

Reps. Jim Jordan (Republican of Ohio) and James Comer (Republican of Kennedy) cited recently released emails from Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), that suggested Zuckerberg personally “communicated with [Fauci] about the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“In light of Facebook’s subsequent censorship of certain COVID-19 content—including content about the pandemic’s origin—these communications with Dr. Fauci raise the prospect that the federal government induced Facebook to censor certain speech in violation of the First Amendment,” they wrote.

Over the past year amid the pandemic, Facebook has moved to block content suggesting that the CCP virus, also known as the novel coronavirus, may have originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Jordan’s and Comer’s letter further stipulated that Facebook hand over “all documents and communications between or among Facebook employees and U.S. government employees,” which includes Fauci, regarding the virus, treatment, and its origins. Documents regarding Facebook’s policies about COVID-19 content moderation should also be surrendered, the representatives wrote.

“It also appears that you shared some of Facebook’s confidential trade or commercial secrets with Dr. Fauci, as portions of your email exchange with Dr. Fauci were redacted when made publicly available,” their letter stated.

Zuckerberg had sent a personal email to Fauci on 15 March 2020, in which the Facebook CEO wrote, “This isn’t public yet, but we’re building a coronavirus information hub that we’re going to put at the top of Facebook for everyone to see” to “make sure that people can get authoritative information” and “practice social distancing.” The email also asked Fauci to do a question-and-answer session for Facebook, among other requests.

Another mid-March 2020 email, titled “Offer from Mark Zuckerberg,” included Fauci’s response after Zuckerberg asked him to “do videos” on the pandemic. Fauci responded by saying, “I will write or call Mark to tell him I am interested in doing this.”

In recent weeks, Fauci, who has given hundreds of interviews to news outlets since the pandemic started early last year, has faced significant criticism from Republicans and former White House officials, who said he gave misleading information—or that he lied—about the hypotheses of the CCP virus’s origin.

EcoHealth Alliance’s Peter Daszak wrote in an email to Fauci on 19 April 2020, “I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

Daszak, a staunch opponent of the theory that the virus escaped the Wuhan lab, also told the NIAID chief, “Your comments are brave, and coming from your trusted voice, will help dispel the myths being spun around the virus’s origins.”

Fauci responded by writing: “Many thanks for your kind note.” According to the email trove that was published, Fauci a day before had told George Gao, head of China’s CDC, “We will get through this together. Thank you for your kind note. All is well despite some crazy people in this world.”

In a series of media interviews this month, Fauci said the emails have been “taken out of context” and defended grants worth hundreds of thousands of dollars being given to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“The Wuhan lab is a very large lab, to the tune of hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars—the grant that we’re talking about was $600,000 over five years,” Fauci told NewsNow last week.

On 9 June 2021 during an MSNBC interview, Fauci went a step further following recent criticism from GOP lawmakers, who called on him to step down from the NIAID position he has held since 1984.

“If you’re trying to get at me as a public health official and scientist, you’re not only attacking Dr. Anthony Fauci, you’re attacking science,” he said.

Facebook and NIAID have not returned media requests for comment

Sen. Cotton: 'Hundreds' of whistleblowers say military forcing 'anti-American' indoctrination on them

Reporter : Jack Phillips / Publisher : The Epoch Times PREMIUM / Image : Sen. Tom Cotton (Andrew Harnik-Pool/Getty Images)

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) told Defense Secretary
Lloyd Austin on June 10 that “hundreds” of military whistleblowers have reported being forced to receive “anti-American indoctrination” training, including critical race theory (CRT).

In a Senate hearing with Austin, Cotton claimed that within the military, there’s “plummeting morale, growing mistrust between races and sexes where none existed just six months ago and unexpected retirements and separations based on these trainings alone.”

One whistleblower, Cotton alleged, said that military history training was replaced with training about police brutality, “systemic racism,” and “white privilege.” Another said that his unit had to read “White Fragility” by feminist author and critical theory proponent Robin DiAngelo, according to the senator.

In May, the Space Force confirmed it relieved Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a former instructor and fighter pilot, as commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron. While it didn’t specifically name the reason why Lohmeier was terminated, the Space Force cited comments made by Lohmeier during a podcast in which he denounced CRT and warned about the spread of Marxism within the Space Force’s ranks.

CRT, which draws heavily upon Marxist critical theory and postmodernist writers, denounces U.S. and Western culture as oppressive, and often claims American culture and institutions are promoting “systemic racism” or “white supremacy.” Some critics have said the ideology’s proponents apply the Marxist tactic of “class struggle” to drive people along the lines of gender, race, and ethnicity, rather than between the “proletariat” and “bourgeoisie.”

In the hearing, Austin told Cotton that some training is designed to make sure that the armed forces are “welcoming to everyone who can qualify and who is fit to serve.”

“We ought to look like the America we support and defend, and senior leadership should look like what’s in the ranks,” Austin said.

But Cotton suggested that claims the military is attempting to foster diversity with such training are incorrect.

“[It’s] about a very specific kind of anti-American indoctrination that is seeping into some parts of our military, based on the whistleblower complaints we have received,” he said.

“The military for decades has been one of the institutions in society where you are most likely to get ahead based on your own performance, your own merit, irrespective of the color of your skin, where you came from, who your parents were.”

Austin agreed with Cotton’s sentiment.

“I absolutely agree with that. I am an example of that,” he said.

Austin went on to state that the military needs to be “a bit better,” be “absolutely inclusive,” and promote “equity.” The terms “inclusive” and “equity” have been used in social justice circles for years.

Austin then argued that by doing so, it’ll be the “most effective and lethal fighting force in the world.”

Gordon Chang: Biden COVID report may conceal US complicity
Reporter : Eric Mack, Newsmax

American taxpayers ostensibly funded a Chinese "biological weapons program against the U.S.," according to Far East relations expert Gordon Chang on
Newsmax, who claimed U.S. government complicity in the global coronavirus pandemic will not be brought forward by the Biden administration.

"The intelligence community, our intelligence community, should just declassify that now," Chang told Monday's "John Bachman Now." "We don't need to wait 90 days to get a highly politicized report from people who have gotten it wrong on China consistently over decades."

President Joe Biden put the onus of a 90-day report on the COVID-19 origins on U.S. intelligence officials after closing the State Department's investigation last week, Chang said, noting a serious, if not dangerous, conflict of interest for the U.S. government.

Dr. Anthony Fauci's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases helped fund a grant for bat coronavirus at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through a $600,000 subgrant to the EcoHealth Alliance, according to reports, and evidence from published research papers show "they were using gain of function techniques," Chang told host John Bachman.

"Now gain of function techniques is basically a biological weapons program," Chang added.

"So, you boil this all down: U.S. taxpayers from fiscal 2014 started funding China's biological weapons program against the U.S."

The evidence is cursory and circumstantial, but proof will not be readily available from China or the United States, regardless, according to Chang.

Chang noted "China sent its top biological weapons expert" to the Wuhan lab last January, he believes, "to clean up evidence of a lab leak as well as to destroy evidence of a biological weapons program."

"I can't prove that, but why would you send a military officer to a nominally civilian facility?" Chang asked. "Well, the answer is because they were doing military research there and elsewhere.

"I think China did a very good job in cleaning up, but there is a lot of evidence that has been left behind."

Chang's suspicions are supported in a Friday report in the U.K.'s Daily Mail from a soon-to-be published paper by British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen, which updates a June 2020 study.

Chang was also asked about the latest news of the H10N3 bird flu case in Eastern China, and he warned, "yes, we're in for another disease."

"This is not something new in a sense, but it is something that has not been reported very well, because China's just tried to cover that up as well as other things," Chang said.

Chang added a rebuke of President Biden's recent references to statements originally attributed to former Chinese President Mao Zedong, including his telling the U.S. Coast Guard commencement "women hold up half the world."

"First of all, Biden got the quote wrong, because it's 'women hold up half the sky,'" Chang told Bachman. "But obviously, he does like to quote Mao, which is really strange, because there's so many other people in the world that the leader of the free world should be quoting, rather than a mass-murdering tyrant like Mao Zedong. So, this is just wrong.

"I think what he's doing, in effect – and I don't know if this is his intention – but what he's doing is he's legitimizing Mao Zedong, and that's the last thing an American leader should be doing."

Pottinger testifies at Senate: The U.S.-China competition and the origin of the virus

On Tuesday (8 June), at the US Senate hearing, former White House Deputy National Security Advisor Matthew Pottinger and others discussed the US-China competition and the origin of the virus from the laboratory.

On 8 June, the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee held a hearing entitled "U.S.-China Strategic Competition." Four experts including Pottinger discussed how the United States should respond to the CCP threat and the issue of virus traceability.

Pottinger, who served as the US deputy national security adviser in the Trump administration, said that the United States has a large amount of indirect evidence that SARS-CoV-2 is more likely to originate from the laboratory of Wuhan Institute of Virology than its natural origin.

He said, "I think most of the indirect evidence, it is important to know that it is still indirect evidence in favor of the hypothesis that this is an accidental laboratory leak, rather than a natural zoonotic event."

Pottinger suggested that the U.S. Congress set up a cross-party investigation committee to investigate the theory that covi originated from laboratory escape.

The Wall Street Journal previously exclusively reported that a report on the origin of the epidemic completed by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California in May 2020 concluded that the covi hypothesis leaked from a laboratory in Wuhan is valid and should be investigated further.

The report said that the relevant research was carried out by the "Z Department" of the laboratory's intelligence department. Researchers analyze the genome of SARS-CoV-2 to understand the evolution and spread of the virus in humans. This report has an important impact on the US State Department’s serious review of the argument that the virus escaped from the laboratory.

When asked about the report in the Senate on Tuesday (8 June), Secretary of State Blinken raised questions about the research methods of the report. He pointed out that the report was a study conducted by one or several personnel, not a "government-wide effort" ordered by the Biden administration to investigate the source of the virus led by the intelligence community.

Earlier, on 6 June, in an exclusive interview with the news website Axio, Brinken also stated that the United States was determined to thoroughly investigate the origin of the new crown virus and at the same time hold the CCP accountable. He said, "China still has not given us the transparency we need, nor has it provided convenience or timely consultation to international inspectors."

Avian influenza outbreak in Shaanxi, China kills thousands of wild birds
Reporter : Qiao An / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/06/10/a103139862.html / Direct translation

According to Chinese media reports, the H5N8 subtype highly pathogenic avian influenza broke out in the Hongjiannao National Nature Reserve in Shaanxi, killing more than 4,200 wild birds.
The mainland reported that a H5N8 subtype avian influenza outbreak occurred in the Hongjiannao National Nature Reserve in Shenmut, Yulin, Shaanxi Province, and a total of 4,249 wild birds died.
This is the sixth highly pathogenic avian influenza reported in mainland China this year. Prior to this, the H5N8 subtype highly pathogenic avian influenza had been reported in Jiangsu, Beijing, Shandong, and Shanxi, and the deaths were all wild birds. However, the CCP authorities stated that these epidemics are "spotted" and did not constitute a regional outbreak.
However, on 1 June 2021, the National Health Commission reported the world's first human case of H10N3 avian influenza, which caused widespread concern.

EU leaders: A thorough investigation of the origin of the virus is essential

European Union leaders called for a full investigation of the origin of COVID-19 on Thursday.
Before the British Group of Seven (G-7) summit that began on Friday, European Council President Michel and European Commission President Von der Lein called for a full investigation of the specific origins of SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus, covi) at a press conference in Brussels on Thursday.
Michel said that the EU is “very certain” that “we need complete transparency in order to learn from the CCP virus pandemic”.
"The world has the right to know what happened in order to learn from it," he said.
Von Delane added that understanding the specific origin of the CCP virus is "critical."
"We must know where it came from in order to learn the right lessons and develop the right tools to ensure that this never happens again," she said. "Therefore, investigators need to have full access to everything needed to truly find the source of the pandemic."
In recent weeks, more and more attention has been paid to the theory that the Chinese Communist Party virus may have originated in a laboratory leak in Wuhan, rather than the spread from animals to humans that health experts have long believed.
Last month, Biden asked the US intelligence community to "double their efforts" to reach a conclusion on the origin of the virus and gave them 90 days to report.
The World Health Organization released a report co-authored with Chinese scientists in late March. The report did not reach hard and firm conclusions, but stated that laboratory theory was "extremely impossible."
According to reports, the European Union plans to support US efforts to investigate the origin of COVID-19 during the G7 summit.

According to media reports, the hotel where the German delegation was staying in England to attend the G7 summit has been closed due to an epidemic.
Pedn Olva Hotel is located in the seaside city of St Ives, which is adjacent to the three-day G7 leaders meeting in Cornwall.
The owner of the hotel said that the hotel has been temporarily closed based on recommendations from health officials and local authorities. Earlier, this hotel had an outbreak, and 13 of the 17 employees tested positive for covid.
"After extensive discussions with PHE (Public Health England) and the Cornwall Commission in the past few days, we have decided to close the hotel completely." A spokesperson for the owner, St Austell Brewery, said .
"Given the limited accommodation options in the area, we fully understand this inconvenience, but the safety and security of our team and guests is our top priority."
The spokesperson said that once a comprehensive covid deep cleansing has been carried out and there are enough staff to take care of the business, the hotel will reopen.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will host the United States, Japan, and Germany at the G7 Summit in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, starting Friday (11 June) followed by French, Italian and Canadian leaders. This year, the United Kingdom has invited India, South Africa and South Korea as guest countries to participate in the summit together with the European Union.

British Minister accuses the Chinese Communist Party of concealing the epidemic and causing the British to call for a thorough investigation of the origin of the virus
Image : On 10 June 2021, British Health Minister Hancock walked out of the Prime Minister's Office at 10 Downing Street in central London. (Tolga Akmen/AFP via Getty Images)

British Health Secretary Hancock said on Thursday (10 June) that the CCP's cover-up of SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus) / COVID-19) caused the United Kingdom to lose everything in its early response to the outbreak and suffered heavy losses. He also called for a "completely independent investigation" of the origin of the virus.
On 10 June, Hancock accepted questions from the “Health and Social Security Committee” and the “Science and Technology Committee” of the British Parliament. He said that he did not know whether the claim that the virus originated from a laboratory leak in Wuhan was correct, but he believed that it must Independent investigation of the origin of the virus. "It is vital that we conduct a completely independent investigation in China, find out everything we can, and not allow this to happen again."
"We need to reform the way the global (health) system works to ensure that answers to these questions can be found correctly, because the current (health system) cannot do it, and we really need to track it down," he said.
Hancock also said that due to the lack of information from China, the early response to the pandemic in the United Kingdom was not timely. He said that he could not obtain information on "asymptomatic infections" from the World Health Organization (WHO) or China.
Hancock said that the first time he heard about asymptomatic transmission in China was in January 2020, and he immediately arranged a conference call with the World Health Organization. "At that conference call, I was told that this 'may be a mistranslation'", he said, "After that, we did not get any evidence from China to prove this."
"One of the reasons that hindered our early response was the opacity of China (the CCP). To deal with future epidemics, this must be corrected." He said, "Once China understands that there is a problem, it should be transparent (tell the world), this is absolutely vital."
The British Government’s Emergency Scientific Advisory Group (Sage) reported on 28 January  2020 that there is little evidence to prove "asymptomatic transmission", so the British government did not recognize the possibility of "asymptomatic transmission" until 2 April.  Later British Prime Minister Johnson admitted that underestimating "asymptomatic transmission" was "the biggest false assumption we made."

Myocarditis appears after two doses of vaccine, the number of young men is higher than expected
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that after the second injection of Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna's mRNA Covid-19 vaccine, the number of young men with heart inflammation was higher than expected.
According to Reuters, the CDC is still assessing the risk of the disease and has not concluded that there is a causal relationship between the vaccine and cases of myocarditis or pericarditis.
The CDC stated that although some patients require hospitalization, most patients have fully recovered.
CDC said that after people received a second dose of Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, more than half of the cases reported to the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) were young people between 12 and 24 years old.
Pfizer stated that it supports the CDC's assessment of heart inflammation cases, noting that "considering the number of people who have been vaccinated, the number of reports is very small."
Moderna stated that it has not yet established a causal relationship with the disease and its vaccine, and said it is actively working with public health and regulatory agencies to further evaluate the issue.

CDC: B.1.1.7 becomes the most common strain in the United States
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Thursday (June 10) that at the beginning of 2021, the first B.1.1.7 variant found in the The proportion is extremely small. However, four months later, this variant has rapidly grown into the most common strain of the new coronavirus (CCV) in the United States.
The CDC said in its weekly report that as of 2 January 2021, B.1.1.7/ Alpha (all in short, Covi17),  accounted for 0.2% of U.S. cases.
By the end of February, tests showed that Covi17 accounted for 11.4% of U.S. cases. By April, it accounted for 66% of infections in the United States. Researchers "predicted" that it might account for 72.4% of cases by 8 May.
The research team wrote, "The rapid expansion is consistent with model-based predictions that B.1.1.7 may become a major variant."
CDC data shows that the P.1 variant first detected in Brazil appeared in the United States in late January, but only accounted for an estimated 5% of infections by April 24.
"These findings are consistent with reports that Covi17 and P.1 may increase transmission." The CDC-led team wrote.
They added: "It is estimated that in the two weeks ending April 24, there were four other variants of interest or attention (B.1.526, B.1.526.1, B.1.429 and B.1.427).  Each accounted for less than 1% of domestically transmitted infections. All four of these are the first to appear in the United States."
They added that these results "emphasize the need for robust and timely genome monitoring."

Commuter sues CDC and Biden for mandating public transport masks unconstitutional
A Washington DC man has filed a federal lawsuit against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), President Biden and several other agencies to challenge their regulations requiring passengers to wear masks on the public transportation system.
Lucas Wall, a self-proclaimed "frequent flyer", claimed in his lawsuit that the requirement to wear a mask on the transportation system is unconstitutional, especially when traveling within a state.
Wall wrote,  "Their exercise of administrative power is improper, illegal and unconstitutional."
Wall was fully vaccinated against COVID-19. He was denied security checks by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel at Orlando International Airport on June 2 when they saw him not wearing a mask.
"No, I don't wear a mask, that's why I was vaccinated," Wall told a TSA officer. The person told Wall that he needed to wear a mask to fly from Orlando, Florida to Ft. Lauderdale in the state.
Wall refused to wear a mask, saying he suffered from anxiety and breathing difficulties.
Wall said in the lawsuit that the mask injunction "ignores countless scientific and medical data that show that masks are completely ineffective in reducing the spread of the coronavirus."

According to British Health Minister Hancock, the B.1.617.2 / Delta variant (all in short, Covi72)  now accounts for 91% of confirmed cases in the UK.
Hancock, speaking in front of a special parliamentary committee on Thursday, said that he saw this number in his latest assessment on Wednesday night. The spread of Covi72 has raised concerns about the possibility that the UK will lift its final stage restrictions on 21 June, as planned.
Hancock told the committee that the government "looks at this data every day" to determine the impact of the variant on government plans. Hancock added that the government still has "a few days' worth of data to look at" but will "make a decision soon."
British Prime Minister Johnson is scheduled to speak to the nation on Monday on the final phase of easing restrictions. A surge in cases of this variant was observed in parts of northeastern England, prompting the British government to seek assistance from the British army.
The British health department said it will deploy troops in Greater Manchester and Lancashire to help with testing, door-to-door community involvement, planning and logistics, and to make decisions based on local needs.

British expert: Covi72 may spread 60% higher than Covi17
British epidemiologists pointed out today that the transmission power of Covi72 is believed to exceed Covi17 by more than 60%. Covi17 is previously the main pathogenic virus in the UK.
The Central News Agency reported that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that the British government plans to completely lift the epidemic prevention restrictions in England on June 21, fearing that it may be delayed due to the rapid spread of Covi72.
Neil Ferguson, an epidemiologist at Imperial College London, told reporters that the spread of Delta variants over Alpha variants is estimated to have shrunk. “We believe that more than 60% is the most likely prediction.”
Ferguson pointed out that the model shows that any third wave of the epidemics may be comparable to the second wave of winter epidemics. The virus strain that caused the second wave of the British epidemic was first discovered in Kent, southeast England.
"I think the number of people killed may be reduced, and vaccines are highly protective...but the epidemic is still worrying. A lot of uncertainty still exists."
The UK has reported that more than 127,000 patients who tested positive have died within 28 days. So far, more than three-quarters of adults in the country have been given the first dose of covi vaccine.
According to Public Health England, one dose of Pfizer or AZ vaccine is less protective against Covi72, and two doses are more effective.

The number of child workers in the world increases for the first time in 20 years, the epidemic may worsen the situation
The United Nations (UN) agency said today that the number of child workers worldwide has increased for the first time in 20 years, and the COVID-19 crisis may cause millions of children to fall into the same fate.
The Central News Agency reported that the International Labour Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) issued a joint report stating that the number of child workers worldwide reached 160 million at the beginning of 2020, an increase of 8.4 million from four years ago.
As the pandemic began to heat up, nearly 1 in 10 children in the world could not escape the situation of child labour, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Although the proportion of child workers in the global child population in 2020 is the same as in 2016, the overall population growth during this period means that the number of child workers has increased significantly.
The UN agency that issued the report also said that the epidemic puts the situation at risk of serious deterioration.
UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore told the media,: "We are losing ground in the battle to end child labour." She also emphasized, "The Covid-19 crisis has worsened the bad situation."

Taiwan thanks Japan for donating vaccines for great help, Japanese media reported massively
Japan’s TBS TV information program HIRUOBI! reported on Japan’s supply of vaccines to Taiwan on June 9. Japanese aviation critic Hiroyuki Kobayashi said in the program that conversations between the Taoyuan Airport Tower and the JAL captain carrying the vaccine are quite rare.
The Central News Agency reported that when the Japanese government provided 1.24 million doses of AZ vaccine to Taiwan for free and arrived at Taoyuan International Airport on June 4 by Japan Airlines (JL809), the flight controller of the Taoji Tower said in English: "We Taiwanese thank you for your great help (We Taiwanese thank you for your great assistance)." The JAL captain replied: "You're welcome, thank you. (You're welcome, thank you)".
This conversation was exposed after being profiled by aviation radio enthusiasts in Taiwan. Japanese aviation critic Hiroyuki Kobayashi said in the program HIRUOBI! that the communication between the tower and the captain is usually very concise and limited to work conversations. Dialogues via radio thank you are quite rare. It can be felt that the flight attendants of the Taoyuan Airport Tower are really very good. Happy, it makes people feel very warm to hear it.
The program also reported that the Taipei 101 building had subtitles such as "Taiwan-Japan Friendship Endures" that night, the Grand Hotel displayed the katakana "Thank you" in the room lights, and the entrance of the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association was filled with flowers to thank Taiwanese people.
Ito Satoko, who started her career as a TV host, said that Taiwan’s response made her feel that Japan is closer to Taiwan. Taiwanese vigorously assisted Japan during the 311 East Japan Earthquake 10 years ago, and Taiwan-Japan relations are quite friendly.

The Hong Kong authorities announced today that the COVID-19 vaccination age will be relaxed to 12 years old. An estimated 240,000 children have been newly included in the vaccination plan, and vaccination will begin as soon as next week.
Prior to this, the authorities only allowed citizens over the age of 16 to be vaccinated.
According to the new arrangement of the authorities, there are three ways for children aged 12 to 15 to be vaccinated. One is to vaccinate themselves at the vaccination centers in each community; the other is to pick up students from the school to the relevant centers; and the third is to send medical staff to the school. Students, teachers and parents are vaccinated, but this requires a certain number of people.
Prior to this, because Hong Kong citizens were worried about the side effects of the vaccine, the vaccination schedule had not been satisfactory. It is estimated that only about 15% of the 7.5 million Hong Kong people are fully vaccinated and about 21% received at least one dose. Many private companies are racing to provide gifts and rewards to vaccinators, including million-dollar homes, shopping vouchers and private jet parties.

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga stated that all people who wish to be vaccinated can be vaccinated before November and expressed confidence to significantly ease the pressure on the medical system.
At present, the pace of vaccination in Japan is accelerating, and the Japanese authorities have been criticized for the slow pace of vaccination. However, Japan will face a new round of general elections in late October, and the authorities hope to speed up the vaccination schedule to control the epidemic.
Earlier this week, a government official stated that the covi vaccine must be vaccinated before the winter flu vaccine.
Yoshihide Suga previously promised to complete the vaccination for 36 million people over 65 years old by the end of July. According to statistics, about 11.5% of Japan's population has at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
Yoshihide Suga said, "I will do my best to take the lead in launching a vaccine promotion plan and prevent the spread of infection."

Jiangsu "transfer" publicly suspended, students under threat, a large number of web posts were deleted

After the "June 4th" student movement in 1989, the student groups in mainland China rarely experienced such large-scale protests. However, recently, student demonstrations broke out in 14 three independent colleges and universities in at least three provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shandong, protesting the merger of their undergraduate colleges with vocational schools, which turned them into “college” students. The degree is devalued. This is very different from the "June 4th" students fighting for the country, but under the high-handed rule of the CCP, it is also very rare to dare to speak out for their rights.
During the live broadcast yesterday, I introduced to you the CCP’s handling of the student wave, including sending special police and armored vehicles to blockade the campus, beating students, slandering students, and even some students reported losing contact.
So at present, Jiangsu Province has announced the "suspend" the merger of the three colleges and vocational schools, but only "suspend", but the students are not stupid, they see the problem.
First of all, the provinces are cooperating with the Ministry of Education of the Chinese Communist Party, so the provinces keep on stopping. Does it have the final say? The high-level CCP has come down with a paper, isn't it necessary to proceed again?
Secondly, it only said that it was a "suspend", so Jiangsu itself may "overturn the case" at any time and continue to implement it. The current argument is like a temporary "delay" under student protests.
Furthermore, since it is said to be suspended, is it necessary to give an explanation for the previous incidents of college students and their parents?
Moreover, some students found that the basic information in their online files had been "downgraded" to "undergraduates". They said one thing and did another thing. They just said "pause", but they just said it. The hand hasn't stopped.
On June 8th, the North China College of Nanjing Normal University, which had more serious protests, issued a notice stating that those who were absent from school and participated in rallies, marches, demonstrations and other activities would be given warnings and expulsion from school. Some students even circulated a message in private, saying that someone had found them and asked them to sign a non-assembly pledge, so that once they participated in the assembly again, they would be dealt with as a "riot".
At the same time, many corresponding remarks on Weibo, many of which were in support of protesting students, have been deleted, and related entries, topics, and items on hot search have all been withdrawn.
Outside the campus of Nanjing Normal University where the protest occurred, it is now heavily guarded, with a large number of police cars parked outside the campus, as well as armored vehicles.

From Shandong University System to Nanjing University's "Ambiguous Enrollment", what do colleges and universities treat girls as?
The CCP does what it wants. Others can only accept it. If you resist a little bit, you may be suppressed. The dignity of students is not taken seriously. Previously, Shandong University announced the "student companion system", which matched some students from the Middle East and Africa with Chinese female students as school companions.
And recently, another incident occurred when Nanjing University used some beautiful female students to raise placards for advertisement when enrolling students. The content written on the sign is extremely ambiguous. For example, a female student's sign says: Do you want me to be your youth? In addition, there is a female student sign saying: Do you want to spend time in the library with me? So, is this an advertisement for enrollment, or an advertisement for recruiting something?
The CCP does not pretend to discipline children from mainland China. In the past two years, Hong Kong students who participated in the democratic struggle have been severely suppressed by the CCP.

2nd Anniversary of Reverse Delivery, Lion Rock reappears slogan, Rally blooms worldwide

The preparation time for our program is June 9th, which happens to be the second anniversary of the Hong Kong Anti-Send China Movement's million-level parade in 2019. In the past two years, according to publicly known information, from 9 June 2019 to 30 April 2021, the Hong Kong police arrested a total of 10,260 people involved in the return, of which at least 715 were convicted. Among them, many are Hong Kong students, even middle school students and elementary school students. However, the resistance of Hong Kong people did not end in the suppression, but went global.
First of all, at around 9 pm on 9 June this year, some Hong Kong people climbed to the top of the Lion Rock and played the shining lights of "FREE HK" and "FAITH", symbolizing the continuous belief of Hong Kong people in fighting for freedom. The people involved stayed on the top of the mountain for a full hour before leaving.
In addition, Hong Kong people and their supporters all over the world also plan to "Global Blossom" on 12 June  this year and continue to organize "Revolution of Hong Kong Era" protests, including London in the United Kingdom, Shinjuku, Japan and other foreign cities. . The suppression of the CCP can only make the free people's will to fight for freedom stronger and stronger, and the influence is getting bigger and bigger.

Xi blows the CCP, Guangzhou people waiting for quarantine are like "pigs await feeding", the old man shouted that they didn’t eat

When Xi Jinping visited Qinghai, what else did Xi Jinping say that Chinese brothers and sisters of all ethnic groups have "deep friendship for the party", like "pomegranate seeds, hugging each other tightly together." The leader of the Communist Party of China has always lied and will not blush. Naturally, such nauseous boasting can also be easily exported. However, what does the party do to brothers and sisters from all ethnic groups, to Uyghurs, to Tibetans, to Hong Kong people, and to Taiwanese who claim to be "comrades"?
Let’s not talk about anything else, just say that in Guangzhou, the current epidemic situation is very serious. A local place called Fangcun was blocked in the early morning of 26 May. Some people were under compulsory quarantine. The quarantine places include one The temporary board room under the viaduct is surrounded by barbed wire. If these people need to eat, the staff will pass a box of lunch through the gap of the barbed wire to the ground inside, and then throw a pair of chopsticks. Many netizens commented Said, this is for people to eat, or to feed pigs.
On 9 June, there was an old man on the high floor of Fangcun’s residential area. He was closed at home. He saw some community workers downstairs and shouted at them, "I don’t have anything to eat. Come here and wait for two." It will be dead for days and nights!
As of now, since Guangzhou first admitted the first recent local case on 21 May, the plague has spread from Guangzhou to Foshan, Maoming, Wuchuan and other places. In Guangzhou, it was announced on June 9 that a new round of nucleic acid testing would be carried out in areas outside the key areas, because so-called "sporadic cases" were not ruled out.

New variant found in Hong Kong? U.S. magazine exposes the source of the drug again, Biden lifts ban on WeChat
SARS-CoV-2 has spread so far, and a large number of "variants" have been produced. In Hong Kong, a girl in Tianshuiwei was also found in the local area. The type of variant virus infected can not be found in the global database. The genetic sequence of the variant found in Norway and Sweden is similar, but not exactly the same. There are at least 15 genetic differences in detail.
Regarding the source of the virus, the Wall Street Journal recently quoted news that the U.S. National Laboratory had a confidential report in May 2020, stating that the statement that the epidemic originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology “seems credible” and should continue to follow this. Ideas, study it.
The CCP has caused such great harm to the world, but what news is coming from the Biden administration in the United States today? That is, the Trump administration’s previous ban on WeChat, TikTok and other mobile apps with CCP background has been lifted, and a new round of censorship of relevant mobile apps by the CCP and other foreign regimes has been initiated. Then you have a new censorship.  Just review it, why bother to lift the old ban in such a hurry.
This move has also received a lot of backlash among American Republicans, thinking it is a major mistake of ignoring the threat of the CCP, but I am not surprised that Biden did it, and I think it will not be surprising to everyone. Everyone chooses the way they will be remembered in the future in this historical period, and Biden does the same.
