The Thai Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) warned on Tuesday (29 June) that as many as 110 bottles of defective Sinovac CoronaVac vaccines have been found in the country. The bottle was blocked by a "gel block".
According to a report on 29 June by Thai PBS World, an online English news website of Thai Public Television, the TFDA has sent a letter on the 28th to notify all vaccination departments across the country due to the discovery of transparent gel blocks in as many as 110 bottles of CoronaVac. The provincial health institutions and hospitals using CoronaVac should beware of the batch of C202105079 vaccine that was produced on May 10 and expired on November 9, which may contain a gel-like substance.
The report stated that the bottles were found at a vaccination site and have now been returned to TFDA. At present, the Thai authorities require suspension of vaccination of any CoronaVac found with clots and report such findings to the TFDA.
According to a report by Coconuts Media, a trans-Asian multinational media company, the media translated the TFDA’s statement issued on Tuesday. The statement stated that the agency found that a batch of Coxing vaccine vials could not be properly mixed when they were shaken. As a result, the vaccine cannot be used.
According to the statement, TFDA seems to blame the improper handling of the vaccine at a certain link in the vaccine delivery chain, rather than an error in the Sinovac Biotech factory.
TFDA believes that some problematic vaccines may have been injected into patients. The agency urges medical workers to "emphasize" to patients that despite the current incident, the vaccine is safe.
Since February, 10.5 million doses of CoronaVac have been shipped from China to Thailand. It is expected that millions of doses of Coxing vaccine will be shipped to Thailand this year and next. It remains the most widely vaccinated in the country. Although some patients experienced unusual "stroke-like" side effects that Reuters called in April, the current regime in Thailand, which is closely related to the Chinese Communist Party, continued to use this vaccine candidate as its main vaccination product.
Like Seychelles and Chile, after the mass vaccination of CoronaVac, the number of cases of the CCP virus recorded in Thailand began to increase at a record rate and reached a peak in May. As of Tuesday, in Thailand, which has a population of nearly 70 million, 254,515 cases of the CCP virus and 1,970 deaths have been recorded.
According to Channel News Asia (CNA), despite the government’s efforts to convince the Thai people to trust CoronaVac, the public’s trust in the current government is very low and they lack confidence in the safety of the vaccines obtained by the government. The Thai public is "skeptical and even hostile towards the Chinese Communist Party, and products from China are widely regarded as cheap and of poor quality."
The CCP is actively seeking to establish a closer relationship with the Prayut government in Thailand, and has invested heavily in the economic field. Channel News Asia pointed out that part of the CCP’s investment in the Prayut government is in the form of military aid. Pro-democracy activists worry that this aid will be used against them.

In order to accelerate the recovery of the tourism industry, the European Union has officially launched the electronic version of the vaccine passport from today. However, the EU only recognizes travelers who have received EU-approved vaccines, and do not need to undergo virus testing and mandatory quarantine. Chinese vaccines are not recognized by the EU.
Radio Free Asia reported that the European Union is attempting to restart the tourism industry on the European continent. Therefore, from 1 July, EU residents can travel freely between member states as long as they hold a certificate of administering EU-approved vaccines without isolation. .
For a period of 12 months starting on 1 July, all EU member states must issue and recognize vaccine passports for free. EU citizens and legal residents in possession, as long as they have been vaccinated, or have recently been screened negative, or have been infected but have recovered, and meet one of the three conditions, they can freely enter and leave the EU countries. The relevant information will be recorded in the pass.
The scope of application of the digital vaccine passport covers the 27 member states of the European Union, including Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. The EU emphasizes that the opening of digital vaccine passports does not mean that passengers who have not been vaccinated cannot travel, but in principle, only passengers who have received EU-approved vaccines do not need to be quarantined or undergo additional screening.
At present, the EU only recognizes 4 vaccine brands, namely BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna, AZ (Astra Zeneca) and Johnson & Johnson. Passengers who have not received these 4 vaccines will enter the EU. and still subject to screening and isolation.
CCP vaccines are not recognized by the European Union, and these two vaccines have not yet been approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
The safety and effectiveness of CCP covi vaccines have been questioned by the outside world. On 24 June, Feng Zijian, a researcher and former deputy director of the Chinese Communist Party’s China CDC, and the current Secretary-General of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, admitted in an interview with the state media CCTV that the vaccine made in China could not produce enough antibodies and was against the Delta variant is less effective.
According to the statistics of Our World in Data, the online database of Oxford University, 9 of the 10 most severely affected countries in the world use Chinese vaccines.
JPMorgan Chase’s report in mid-June showed that after vaccinating the vaccine made in China, the epidemic situation in eight countries rose instead of decreasing. The more vaccinations, the more infections.
According to another report, five Chinese medical experts went to Vietnam after being vaccinated with domestic vaccines. All five people were infected, and the vaccine protection rate was 0%. More than 400 Chinese employees of Tianjin Electric Power Construction Company in Serbia were vaccinated by China's "Sinopharm Group" before leaving the country. 300 people were diagnosed with the disease, and the vaccine protection rate was 25%.

Indian covi vaccine Covaxin, developed and manufactured by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech, generates antibodies that can effectively neutralise the Alpha (Covi17) and Delta (Covi72) variants of SARS-CoV-2, the US National Institutes of Health has said citing results from two studies of blood serum from people who received the shots.
Covaxin comprises a disabled form of SARS-CoV-2 that cannot replicate but still stimulates the immune system to make antibodies against the virus.
The NIH said an adjuvant, developed by the agency, has also contributed to the success of the highly efficacious Covaxin, which roughly 25 million people have received to date in India and elsewhere.
Adjuvants are substances formulated as part of a vaccine to boost immune responses and enhance a vaccine's effectiveness.
"Ending a global pandemic requires a global response," said Anthony S. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of NIH.
"I am pleased that a novel vaccine adjuvant developed in the United States with NIAID support is part of an efficacious covi vaccine available to people in India," he added.
The adjuvant used in Covaxin -- Alhydroxiquim-II -- was discovered and tested in the laboratory by the biotech company ViroVax LLC of Lawrence, Kansas with support exclusively from the NIAID Adjuvant Development Programme.
The adjuvant comprises a small molecule attached in a unique way to Alhydrogel, a substance frequently called alum that is the most commonly used adjuvant in vaccines for people.
Alhydroxiquim-II travels to lymph nodes, where the small molecule detaches from alum and activates two cellular receptors. These receptors, TLR7 and TLR8, play a vital role in the immune response to viruses. Alhydroxiquim-II is the first adjuvant in an authorised vaccine against an infectious disease to activate TLR7 and TLR8.
Molecules that activate TLR receptors stimulate the immune system powerfully, but the side effects of Alhydroxiquim-II are mild. This is because, after Covaxin is injected, the adjuvant travels directly to nearby lymph nodes, which contain white blood cells that play an essential role in identifying pathogens and fighting infection.

Results from a Phase 2 Trial
Results from a Phase 2 trial of Covaxin indicate that it is safe and well tolerated, while unpublished interim results from the Phase 3 trial indicate that the vaccine has 78 per cent efficacy against symptomatic disease, 100 per cent efficacy against severe Covid-19, including hospitalisation, and 70 per cent efficacy against asymptomatic infection with SARS-CoV-2.
Bharat Biotech signed a licensing agreement with ViroVax to use Alhydroxiquim-II in their candidate vaccines in 2019. This license was expanded during the Covid-19 pandemic to include Covaxin, which has received Emergency Use Authorization in India and more than a dozen other countries.
Bharat Biotech developed Covaxin in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Institute of Virology. Bharat Biotech expects to produce an estimated 700 million doses of Covaxin by the end of 2021.
"This is something where we're still gaining data on a daily basis. But the most recent data was looking at convalescent Sera of COVID-19 cases and people who received the vaccine used in India, the Covaxin. It was found to neutralise the 617 variants," said Dr. Fauci, during a press conference on Tuesday.
How Covaxin Works Against covi variants
According to reports, 'Covaxin' uses dead viruses and teaches the immune system to generate antibodies in the body to fight against the deadly SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. When Covaxin is administered, immune cells recognize the dead virus, allowing antibodies to attach to viral proteins or the spike proteins that stud its surface. Clinical trials of Covaxin have shown that it has an efficacy of 78%.
"So, despite the real difficulty that we're seeing in India, vaccination could be a very, very important antidote against this," said Dr Fauci further adding, "We are making sure that we are locating some of the raw materials necessary to create more vaccines in India, which I think is going to be an important help there."
Covaxin was approved for emergency use on 3 January while still in a clinical trial.

A group of internationally renowned scientists have issued another open letter calling for a new thorough inquiry into the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic by an international investigation team. The letter also provided solutions to the possible scenario that Chinese communist regime won’t cooperate with such investigation.
On June 28, the “Paris Group” published the open letter with major French media Le Figaro. The group consists of 31 leading scientists and doctors from countries around the world, including France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, New Zealand, India, Australia, the United States, Canada, and Japan.
The letter noted that COVID-19 has been raging around the world for more than a year but the origin of the virus has not been identified.
A report by the World Health Organization’s (WHO) so-called expert team who visited Wuhan, China, a year after the outbreak—now shown to have included key members with a clear conflict of interest—was inconclusive and raised doubts globally, especially in Western countries.
The scientists added, “We believe that the joint study process that the WHO is currently calling for, in its current form, does not satisfy the conditions to be credible due to serious structural gaps.”
The letter addressed the Chinese regime’s attempt to erase related data, pointing out, “The measures taken by the Chinese government to hide the origins, and stop Chinese experts from sharing certain essential information and detailed data clearly show that the current process, without significant changes, has no chance of putting a complete or credible inquiry in place for all possible scenarios.”
The letter said that it is “particularly regrettable that no exhaustive inquiry on all the plausible origins has been undertaken, and that none is planned.”
“We ask for a new scientific enquiry into all the plausible origin hypothesis, which has unlimited access to all the pertinent files, samples and staff in China, and elsewhere if necessary,” the scientists urged in the letter.
The direction of the investigation should include the possibility of the virus leaking from the laboratory, the letter suggested.
In case the Chinese regime will not cooperate, the group suggested launching an international investigation mission without China’s participation, led by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) or the Group of Seven Industrial Countries (G7) or other institutions.
“A well-organised and concerted effort, free of interference, drawing on all available sources of information and involving a large number of experts, may well end up providing unambiguous evidence supporting one particular hypothesis regarding the origins of the pandemic,” the letter read.
The suggestion is based on the fact that sufficient data are available worldwide for such inquiry.
“A great number of very pertinent details can be collected without the participation of the Chinese authorities,” the scientists said. “Many governmental and individual scientists across the world have already gathered, and started to analyse, significant quantities of pertinent data.”
The letter further suggested that the inquiry would also need the cooperation of the United States and European Union in sharing documents and data.
The letter comes at the time when more evidence is emerging, with the international community now turning focus to the virology lab in Wuhan that has been conducting gain-of-function research on coronaviruses in cooperation with the Chinese regime’s military.
This is the fourth open letter this year calling for a new independent and thorough inquiry into the origin of COVID-19. The Paris Group issued another two earlier this year. In March, the first letter said that an inquiry into the role of major science journals in concealing information of the pandemic, such as The Lancet, is in order.
They issued a second open letter on 7 April, condemning the WHO’s report. The letter received significant coverage in French newspapers.
July 1 Global Quit Day, Abandon the CCP and Embrace the Rebirth
July 1st is the CCP’s Party Day, and it is also the “Global Withdrawal of the Evil CCP Day” initiated by the Global Service Center for Withdrawal from the CCP in 2004. On the same day, the number of people who withdrew from the CCP, league and team was declared on the Epoch Times website. It has reached more than 379 million.
In an interview with the Epoch Times reporter, Chairman Yi Rong of the Center for Quitting the CCP stated that in the past 100 years, the CCP has continued to murder and kill people. In the 1930s, rectification in the 1940s, suppression of counter-revolutionaries, anti-rightist movements, and the Great Famine in the 1950s. During the Cultural Revolution in the 10s, mandatory family planning in the 1980s, the June 4th Massacre in 1989, the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, and the suppression of Hong Kong’s freedom in 2019... No family in China has not been persecuted by it before. It kills people like hell and the crime is heinous. The CCP virus has poisoned the world.
The Center for Quitting the Party called on Chinese people who have not yet withdrawn from the CCP, regiment, and team to seize the opportunity to withdraw as soon as possible, and work together to overthrow the shaky and dying evil CCP, and let this scourge of China and the world for a hundred years. The Red Devil disappeared from the world, and it should not continue to do harm to mankind.
Today, Yi Rong also called on the Chinese to quickly abandon the sinking ship of the CCP, embrace the new life, and welcome a new era without the CCP.
