According to the "Central News Agency" report, the Tegel Airport in Berlin, Germany, which  had completed renovation in early November  will become a covi vaccination center from mid-December.

According to reports, since Germany suspended recreational and sports venues and banned indoor dining in restaurants in early November, the number of new cases of covid has stabilized, but the total number of cases is still high. According to data from the Robert Koch Institute for Disease Control in Germany, Germany added more than 22,000 confirmed covid cases on 27 November, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 1 million.

In view of this, Germany has deployed 60 vaccination centers across the country and hopes to increase the intensity of covi vaccination in the first quarter of 2021.

Brom, the person in charge of preparing the Berlin Vaccination Center, said that at Tegel Airport, "we will vaccinate 3000 to 4000 people every day."

According to the report, after the completion of the renovation of Terminal C of Tegel Airport, it will become a center for covi vaccination. It is expected that thousands of people can be vaccinated every day.

Although the German Minister of Health, Spand, said that vaccination is not mandatory, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that for Germany, vaccines are like "a dawn at the end of a tunnel."

Merkel said that the cold winter may be difficult, but "I believe we will see significant progress next year", describing the covi vaccine as a symbol of "hope."
