Questions about the security of the U.S. voting system

The voting system of this US general election was exposed and deleted, and votes were secretly exchanged, which incorrectly counted Trump's votes to opponents. Jin Xiuhong, a Chinese American and former reporter from Beijing Weekly, once served as a poll supervisor when Bush was running for president. She told NTD that the insecurity of the voting system has been known for a long time. She said that the voting system is insecure, and everyone has already known it.

Trump retweeted a media report on Twitter on November 12, saying, "The DOMINION voting system deleted 2.7 million votes for Trump nationwide. Data analysis found that Pennsylvania had 221,000 votes. It was jumped by Trump to Biden. Another 941,000 votes for Trump were deleted. States using the Dominion voting system transferred 435,000 votes from Trump to Biden."

Jin Xiuhong served as a poll monitor when Bush ran for president in 2000. She recalled, "At that time, as an inspector in King County, Washington, I was also in charge of Chinese and English translation. At that time, we were still using the Diebold machine, and no one wanted to use it because it It can be tampered with remotely. There was an election-related case in Washington State. We are a Democratic state. At that time, an independent candidate had his vote tampered with and the number became smaller. Because this person understands computers, he sued it. In the end they gave him the answer, it was rounded up, so all his votes have disappeared, or something. But in fact, it should be said that no software is 100% safe."

At present, the voting machine industry is dominated by three major companies, ES&S (Election Systems & Software), Dominion Voting Systems and Hart InterCivic. Together, they account for about 90% of all voting equipment used in the United States. All three are private companies.

Xiuhong said, "It turns out that these voting machines have always had a problem, that is, no one is allowed to inspect them. How the voting machine and its procedures are written, do not allow others to know. Now this voting machine is private, and It’s not owned by a certain government, so it’s even less certain, saying that this will definitely be checked, tested, or something."

In addition to the security concerns of the voting system, Xiuhong is also concerned that the "night ghost vote" appeared on the night of November 3 during the general election. That night, President Trump got a significant lead in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and then suspended the votes. However, on the morning of November 4, the key swing states changed from red to blue strangely. Biden's vote suddenly rose, and Trump stopped at 214 votes since 9 pm on the 3rd, and there was no change.

She said, "Why is it the night ghost ticket? Because I saw that there were hundreds of thousands of votes. After closing the polling station and counting the votes, it suddenly rose up. Each state, especially the swing state, was on November 3 Eastern Time. When the ticket was suspended at o'clock. But among these ghost tickets, some states did not vote for President Trump with more than 100,000 votes, and all the leaps and bounds were added to Biden. And the time for the increase  was between 2 am and 4 am, that is to say, when the ghost was in the middle of the night, these tickets ran out all of a sudden. No one was watching and no one checked the tickets."

Xiuhong also searched for the phenomenon of "dead people votes" in Arizona.

She said, "We know Arizona. I just searched the Internet and saw a lady. She said that I heard the news that some people voted for the dead. My grandma passed away in September. Will my grandma vote? Was also voted for? Let me see. She was curious, she really saw that her grandma's vote had already been voted, then it must have been for Biden."

Xiuhong, who is in a Democratic state, switched to the Republican Party this year.

She said, "I voted for the Democratic Party for more than 20 years. This is the first time in my life I voted for the Republican Party. Because I don't want to make the United States become like China, going further and further from socialism towards communism, in the end, no one has freedom. So I think that protecting people’s freedom of speech and private property rights is a very, very important value."

Xiuhong said that the United States is a country ruled by law, so it should ensure that the presidential election is fair and just. It is not for the media to announce who has won.
