The Chinese Communist government's promotion of so-called "bilingual education" in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has triggered a large-scale mass struggle against the cultural extinction of the Chinese Communist Party. At present, officials have characterized the protests of the people in Inner Mongolia as an anti-government incident incited by foreigners, which has attracted widespread international attention. On 5 August, members of the World Southern Mongolia Conference in Japan staged a protest in Tokyo.

Olhunud Daichin, secretary-general of the World Southern Mongolia Conference, read out a letter of protest, pointing out that the so-called "bilingual education" promoted by the CCP is essentially an assimilation policy of Chinese language education. If the Mongolians do not stand up and stop now, the next generation of Mongolian culture will disappear in Inner Mongolia.

Olhunud Daichin declared, "The cultural extinction policy is not introduced today. The CCP has never been interrupted since its establishment 71 years ago. There is little news about the persecution of Inner Mongolians, but it is by no means non-existent. On the contrary, there are too many conflicts. It is not known until it is blocked."

After the rally, before the Japanese and Mongolian representatives came to the CCP embassy, they shouted "Don't deprive Inner Mongolian children of Mongolian education" and other slogans in Mongolian and Japanese, and then put the protest letter in the mailbox of the CCP embassy.

Takayuki Kojima, principal of the European, American and Asian Language Learning Center, commented, "This is the first time the world has paid attention to Inner Mongolia regional issues, including Japan."

A Japanese said, "The so-called national purification is actually the extinction of national spirit and deprivation of national language. It is very sad that Mongolian children are deprived of their right to education. So I want to participate in the protests, hoping to help the Mongolians a little bit."

Representatives of human rights groups from Hong Kong, Tibet, and Xinjiang also participated in the protest rally and expressed support for the Mongols' resistance to the CCP’s policy of national cultural extinction.
