Yan Limeng explained to the host, “The genome sequence is like a human fingerprint. The source of the virus can be identified based on the genome sequence.” She also disclosed, “I will (use) this evidence to tell you why the virus originated from a Chinese laboratory and why China It is the virus maker...Even people without biological knowledge can understand and find out, identify, and verify by themselves."
She said that before she left the United States, the Chinese authorities had begun to release rumours about her and delete her information, which made her feel that her life was in danger. So, she decided to take the risk of fleeing. She frankly worried that China would "control my relatives and friends and make me disappear suddenly."
She revealed that she and a team of top scientists have completed two research reports on SARS-CoV-2. They will use scientific evidence to prove that the virus originated in the laboratory, and the first report will be released "in several days".
In August of this year, when Yan Limeng was interviewed by the US media Newsmax TV, she also disclosed that the Chinese military had modified the SARS-CoV-2 virus based on the two harmful viruses "ZC45" and "ZXC21", and a lot of evidence remains in the virus's genome.
Public information shows that before leaving the United States, Yan Limeng was engaged in vaccine, antibody and cellular immunology research at the University of Hong Kong. At the end of April 2020, she successfully fled to the United States. The University of Hong Kong issued a statement stating that Yan Limeng had worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the school, but had left. It also claimed that Yan had never conducted research on the virus at the University of Hong Kong from December 2019 to January 2020.
