Yan Limeng: Lab accident is an option that CCP wants people to believe

On 10 August 2020, an extract of Yan Limeng's War Room Pandemic interview was posted on YouTube by Hong Kong Epoch Times. In the extract, she said that an accident in the Wuhan Institute of Viology (WIV) P3 or P4 laboratory is impossible, given how strict the management in the P3 and P4 laboratories is. 

Yan Limeng said, "So basically, I can tell you after the very strict training and under the 24-hour surveillance, people come into those P3 labs or any of the above labs are the only ones who could come back alive. I mean, no animal, no other pathogens that get into that lab can leave the lab alive. All the animals or the pathogens have to go through either a very strict inactive procedure to make it lose activities or go through the autoclave procedure which means very high temperature, very professional procedure to make it hot enough to kill of those kind of pathogens from those garbage, dead bodies, all those things."

Yan added, "So basically if you want to believe the accident (there could be accident in a laboratory) then I can tell you that's just an alternative choice that the CCP government wants you to believe.  I can tell you before 19 January this year before I revealed that this virus comes from PLA lab based on Zhoushan bat virus through Lude's media our government always tried to let people believe that this virus had natural origins from the Huanan Seafood Market. But the next day, when they realized that I already revealed this message and delivered it out, they had a backup plan that when people try to find out it's not from nature, the can say this is just accidental release from the lab."

Yan concluded, "So that's why later they (Xi Jinping and his CCP agencies) stressed enhancing biosafety issues in the Chinese labs and also they quickly sent the bio-weapon general Chen Wei to Wuhan Institute (Wuhan Institute of Viology) and try to clean all the evidence and take over the whole institute." 

Shi Zhengli also revealed to Science that there is no accident in the WIV. She replied, "The virology research and experiment activities carried out by the Wuhan Institute of Viology are carried out in the corresponding biosafety laboratories in strict compliance with international and national biosafety laboratory management and experimental activity management requirements. Among them, P3 and P4 laboratories are very strict from facility to management. For example, scientific researchers must wear personal protective equipment, the air in the laboratory must be efficiently filtered before it can be discharged, and waste water and solid waste must be sterilized by high temperature and high pressure. The whole process of experimentation activities carried out by experimenters will be monitored by biosafety managers through video. The facilities and equipment of the laboratory and the implementation of the biosafety management system must be supervised and reviewed by the relevant professional departments of the country every year, and the operation can be continued after passing the review. The virus institute's high-level biosafety laboratory has been operating in a safe and stable state. So far, there has been no pathogen leakage or personal infection accident."
