Norway: Pfizer BioNTech vaccine is not directly related to deaths after vaccination

Report by : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

An investigation by the Norwegian Medicines Agency showed that Pfizer BioNTech's SARS-CoV-2 vaccines are not directly related to deaths after earlier vaccination. Norway launched an investigation after 33 nationals over the age of 75 died after being vaccinated. After analyzing 13 of these cases, the authorities found that all the cases were elderly, frail, and severely ill. Therefore, it is impossible to directly determine that they died as a result of vaccination, and it is difficult to prove that the vaccine was the direct cause of death. The authorities recommend that doctors consider the condition of individual patients before deciding whether patients who are weak or suffering from serious diseases are suitable for vaccination.
