After the 46th US President Biden entered the White House on January 20, he signed 17 executive orders, many of which reversed Trump’s policies. These include the cessation of withdrawal from the WHO, return to the Paris climate agreement and immigration.

At 5:30 pm Eastern time on January 20, the 78-year-old Biden formally entered the White House. He signed 15 administrative orders and 2 agency orders in the Oval Office. On the day of his inauguration in 2017, President Trump only signed an order to reverse the Affordable Care Act.

Many of the executive orders signed by Biden overturned President Trump's previous actions. include:

1. Initiate the "100 Days to Wear a Mask Challenge" and ask the Federal Government to lead by example;

2. Stop withdrawing from the World Health Organization;

3. Construct the federal government to formulate a coordinated national response to fight COVID-19;

4. Extend the period of expulsion and foreclosure rights;

5. Extend the period of suspension of student loan payment;

6. Rejoin the "Paris Climate Change Agreement" and overthrow President Trump's actions on environmental issues;

7. Launch an entire government initiative to promote racial equality;

8. Overturn President Trump’s executive order to exclude illegal immigrants from the census;

9. Protect and strengthen the protection of Dreamers (Dreamer, DACA);

10. Overturn the Muslim travel ban;

11. Repeal Trump's internal law enforcement administrative order;

12. Stop the border wall construction;

13. Postpone the implementation of the President's Memorandum on Deportation of Libyans;

14. Prevent and combat discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation;

15. Withdraw the permit of Keystone XL oil pipeline;

16. Administrative orders on personnel ethics of administrative departments;

17. Supervisory program execution order and presidential memorandum.

Biden told reporters, "I don't think there is time to wait any longer and start working immediately. No other day is as suitable for starting work as today."

Biden's first executive order "100 Days to Wear Masks Challenge" required all federal government personnel and temporary employees to wear masks in the building and maintain a safe social distance.

At present, at the time of the SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus) pandemic, Trump is dissatisfied with the World Health Organization's collusion with the Chinese Communist Party to cover up the severity of the plague, causing the plague to spread globally, and he holds the WHO accountable. It was announced in May last year that the United States would withdraw from the World Health Organization, which was originally scheduled to take effect in July this year.

Biden overturned Trump's decision and stopped the US withdrawal from the WHO. He will also send his chief medical adviser, Anthony Fauci, to lead a delegation to attend the WHO Executive Committee meeting on January 21.

In addition, Biden signed the document to return to the Paris climate agreement, which will be submitted to the United Nations on the 20th. After 30 days, the United States will once again become a member of the agreement.

Trump announced in the Rose Garden of the White House on June 1, 2017 that the United States had withdrawn from the Paris Agreement in order to fulfill its campaign promises and fulfill its serious responsibility to protect the United States and its people.

Trump pointed out that the Paris climate agreement is a "scam" created by the CCP, which has harmed the US economy and put the US in an uncompetitive position. He said that he is deeply concerned about environmental issues, "but he cannot support an agreement to punish the United States."

He emphasized that withdrawing from the Paris Agreement is to safeguard the dignity of American workers. He also said that he would negotiate the conditions for joining the Paris Agreement again, or a new deal, and that the conditions must be an agreement that is beneficial to the United States and its businesses, labor, people, and taxpayers.

Biden ordered the United States to return to the Paris climate agreement on the first day of his tenure. The incoming climate adviser Gina McCarthy said that Biden will also instruct all federal agencies to consider revising vehicle fuel emission standards.

In addition, Biden also abolished the travel ban on seven Muslim-majority countries during Trump's tenure and suspended the construction of the US-Mexico border wall.

In fact, the Trump administration has not completely prohibited citizens of the seven countries from entering. Trump has stated that the "ultimate review" of their entry into the United States is to prevent bad guys (people with bad intentions) from entering the United States.

In order to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the United States, Trump vigorously advocated the construction of the US-Mexico border wall, but this implementation has encountered numerous obstacles. Before he took office, Biden opposed the construction of the US-Mexico border wall and advocated a lenient policy on illegal immigration.

Biden takes office, State Council withdraws China threat, 5G and other policy agendas

One day after U.S. President Joe Biden took office (January 21), it was discovered that six core issues were removed from the policy issues section of the State Council website, including China (CCP) Threats, 5G security, and illegal immigration.

On Thursday (January 21), only 17 Policy Issues were displayed on the State Department website of the new Biden administration, including anti-corruption and transparency, arms control, climate and environmental protection, SARS-CoV-2, etc. (https://www.state.gov/https://www.whitehouse.gov/priorities/) .

Compared with the policy section of the State Council website during the Trump administration, six project issues have been cancelled: 5G security, China (CCP) threat, illegal immigration, threat to regime Iran, Nicaragua’s return to democracy, Venezuela’s democratic crisis (https://2017-2021.state.gov//index.html).

Image above: The picture is an archived photo from the policy section of the State Council website of the Trump administration. The Biden administration deleted 6 of the project topics, namely: 5G security, China (CCP) threat, illegal immigration, threat to regime Iran, Nicaragua’s return to democracy, and Venezuela’s Democracy crisis. (Screenshot of the website of the US State Department during the Trump administration)

Among them, the China (CCP) threat is a new column launched by former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in November last year, detailing the threats to global peace and security posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

"The CCP is the core threat of our time. It destabilizes the world and serves its hegemonic ambitions. Despite the CCP's efforts to defend its evil deeds, China under CCP control (PRC) is not a model world citizen. Under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping, the CCP has expanded its power and influence in at least six areas at the expense of the interests of others." The first paragraph of the column reads.

The content of the CCP exposed on the web page includes six major areas: predatory economic policies, military expansion in the Indo-Pacific region, secretly undermining global norms and values, threats and tricks overseas, disregard of human rights, and destruction of the ecological environment.

Among them, the "China’s Disregard for Human Rights" (China’s Disregard for Human Rights) webpage also specifically discloses the CCP’s violations of human rights.

This is the first time that the Trump administration of the United States (Trump) is different from the unwritten regulations of the U.S. government to talk about human rights with the CCP in a low-key manner. Suppression of freedom of speech and freedom of religion, arbitrary arrests of people, and establishment of concentration camps are facts that violate human rights.

At the same time, former Secretary of State Pompeo was also the first diplomat to distinguish in detail that China is not equal to the CCP and the CCP is not equal to the Chinese.

Faced with the US State Department’s practice of launching the Chinese human rights webpage, the spokesperson of the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs could only respond again by not admitting the account and slamming it.

The spokesperson of the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Wang Wenbin, said that on the issue of human rights, the United States has no qualifications and no right to call itself a "human rights teacher". But he did not give a powerful rebuttal to the US factual statement.

Secretary of State nominee emphasizes that the CCP is America’s biggest threat

At present, it is not clear why the Biden administration removed the six policy issues from the State Department website.

Biden’s next secretary of state, Antony Blinken, said in a nomination hearing in the Senate on the 19th that he agrees with the Trump administration’s tougher China policy, but does not agree with related strategies.

Blinken served as Deputy Secretary of State during the former President Barack Obama’s administration; from 2002 to 2008, he served as a foreign policy aide to Democratic members of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee.

“In the past, there was a general view that China’s economic liberalization would bring about political liberalization, but this did not happen.” He said at the Senate hearing, “There is no doubt that among all the nation-states in the world, (the CCP) ) Poses the greatest threat to the United States."

Blinken said that he supports former Secretary of State Pompeo’s latest determination that the CCP has committed genocide against Uyghurs in Xinjiang; he also supports military and global diplomacy to help Taiwan and counter the pressure of mainland China; he They also questioned the future of Hong Kong as a global business center; and criticized the Chinese Communist Party for misleading the outside world on the origin of the new crown virus and to some extent caused the epidemic to spread. This is consistent with the remarks of former President Trump and others.

He emphasized that unlike the Trump administration, he will focus more on cooperating with other democracies to jointly exert pressure on Beijing.

But Blinken also said that the US-China relationship also has a cooperative side. Biden's aides have hinted that they may cooperate with Beijing on climate change and other issues.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a regular press conference on Thursday (21st) that as long as you make up your mind, everything is possible. She believes that with the joint efforts of both sides, “good angels in Sino-US relations can overcome the power of evil."

Biden announces new anti-epidemic strategy and signs 10 relevant administrative orders

On Thursday (January 21), US President Biden, who had just taken office on the second day, announced the new government’s strategy to fight the CCP virus epidemic and signed 10 items related to epidemic prevention. Presidential Executive Order.

US President Biden said, "Let me make it clear that the situation will continue to deteriorate before it improves. The memorial ceremony we held two days ago will not be the last. Unfortunately, the number of deaths is likely to exceed 500,000 next month."

On the second day of his employment, Biden announced a national strategy to combat the CCP virus epidemic. The first goal is to complete 100 million doses of vaccine within 100 days of taking office.

US President Biden said, "This will be one of the biggest operational challenges in our country's history, and I promise to complete this task."

Biden signed 10 administrative orders on the same day, including increasing the number of vaccinations and tests, requiring all foreign travelers to provide a negative certificate of virus test obtained before going to the United States when entering the country. Americans are also required to wear masks when traveling domestically. This mask order applies to airports, airplanes, ships, inter-city buses, trains, and other public transportation in the United States.

The day before, Biden had issued an administrative order compulsory to wear masks, requiring people to wear masks and maintain social distancing in the buildings of all federal agencies.

However, a video posted by The New York Post on Thursday showed that just a few hours after Biden issued the mandatory mask order, he was photographed violating the order he had just signed. The screen shows that on Wednesday night, Biden appeared in the Lincoln Memorial without wearing a mask, and was quite close to the staff around him.

The White House did not immediately respond to a media request for comment on a video.
