Under the SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus) epidemic, epidemic isolation policies across China have been exposed. A few days ago, 43 Chinese who flew back to Chengdu, Sichuan from Germany, asked for help through the Internet and told about their horrific experiences.
According to an exclusive interview on the Chinese website of The Epoch Times, on 27 January, 43 passengers on Air China flight CA432 from Germany to Chengdu asked for help through the Internet. Among the 43 people were a 2-year-old child and a 4-month-old baby.
They said that they were forced to quarantine at their own expense in the old Chengdu Hotel, where the room temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius, without heating, and with extremely poor sanitary conditions. In the case of ineffective communication with hotels, epidemic prevention departments and local governments, they were helpless to initiate online requests for help.
The official Chengdu report stated that on 25 January, the CA432 flight from Germany arrived in Chengdu. On 26 January, there were a confirmed covid case and 1 asymptomatic infection, both of whom were Chinese nationals.
The Epoch Times reporter interviewed two close contacts of the flight, and they told reporters about their personal experiences.

Old hotel room without heating, frostbite in 24 hours
Wang Yue (pseudonym) revealed, “I arrived in Chengdu on January 25, probably because we came back from abroad. The airport epidemic prevention staff tested us very strictly. The cotton swab pricked our nose very deeply and we cried all at once. Then we were caught by the bus. It was sent to the Spring Hotel. Although three cockroaches fell out of the hotel towels, now think about it, compared with the current hotel, there (Spring Hotel) is still much better, at least the room temperature is 25 degrees."
During the interview, Wang Yue broke down many times. She revealed that she came back to visit because her relatives at home were seriously ill but because the seat was close to the confirmed case later, he became a close contact.
"These 43 of us were close contacts of the two confirmed cases on the plane. We were sitting in three rows before and after the confirmed cases. On the 26th, we received a call telling us to pack our things and move to another hotel. I was confused at that time. ."
Wang Yue said that in her current hotel, the room temperature during the day was less than 10 degrees Celsius, and the winter in the south was wet and cold, and she had developed frostbite. "It is not allowed to use all heating equipment here. The doors and windows are not closed tightly, and they are all leaking. I put on a three-layer quilt and I will be awake at night.
Wang Yue said that she told the people at the hotel that the windows were leaking, but the other party's attitude was very bad and they did not repair it.
"We have formed a WeChat group to make it easy for everyone to contact. The toilet in some people's rooms is not easy to use. I told the hotel that the hotel staff asked us to take a bucket and flush the toilet by ourselves, but did not repair it."
Another passenger, Li Qing (pseudonym), who was quarantined in the hotel, was also transferred from Spring Hotel. Her feelings were exactly the same as Wang Yue, "This hotel is too cold, and the windows and doors are broken. I sometimes think about the outdoors. After a while, it’s warmer outside than inside."
Li Qing told The Epoch Times reporters that they also understand that the hotel said they were afraid of infection and therefore could not turn on central air conditioning. "But at least provide us with some heating equipment? We also have babies in isolation here."
"The hotel staff, let us buy hot water bottles by express delivery to keep warm. But this will not solve the problem."
In addition to the heating problem, Li Qing said that the wiring in the hotel room is seriously aging, and there are safety concerns. “When two electrical appliances are used in the room at the same time, there will be trips and sparks, which frightens us. So even if we have heating equipment, it’s impossible for more than 40 of us to use heating equipment at the same time. Even if the hotel allows the use of electric blankets, we are afraid that the circuit will short-circuit when we fall asleep and cause a fire."

Isolated at high price, eat cold rice, eat hair out of food
Chengdu Hotel is a three-star hotel located in Jinniu District of Chengdu. The reviews from online customers generally reflect that the hotel rooms are old.
Li Qing said, "Usually, the average hotel price is 187 yuan per person per night. Now the hotel charges us 240 yuan per person plus 70 yuan for meals, a total of 310 yuan per person per day. Hotel staff have revealed that the hotel has been a long time. No one lives anymore."
For the 43 people in quarantine, daily food hygiene is also a problem. Many people in the WeChat group composed of quarantined people have reported that they have found long hair in meals many times.
Wang Yue said, “In one day, after I had two meals and ate my hair, I really broke down. I told the hotel people that you don’t need to give me food. I would rather not eat than eat. I woke up from the cold in the morning, thinking that the rice delivered in the morning was hot, but the porridge, milk, a small steamed bun, a small flower roll and a small bun were all cold!"
Wang Yue revealed that a two-year-old child and a four-month-old baby were also isolated together. In this harsh isolation environment, many people dare not take a bath because the bath water is warm. "We are afraid that we will catch a cold in the bath, and it will be even worse to be treated as a suspected case."
"In addition to the hair, there is lymphatic meat in the food, and the beans have deteriorated." Wang Yue said, parents with children in the group only give rice to the children because they are afraid that these dishes will have problems. There are already several adults who feel uncomfortable after eating, have stomach pains and have diarrhea.

Traveller under quarantine suffers emotional breakdown and is unattended, and online help is restricted
Wang Yue said that some of the 43 people in quarantine have been in constant emotional breakdown. "Under such an environment, we are very worried about our health and safety. We respect and abide by the epidemic prevention policy and cooperate with everyone, but we really can’t hold on. We call the mayor’s hotline, 12345, and no one answers. No one listened to us on the phone or online feedback."
In desperation, a quarantine officer posted the whole thing on Weibo, but was restricted by current flow, that is, posts posted on Weibo, many people couldn't see it.
Wang Yue also revealed, “It seems that hotel staff are spreading rumors on our Weibo, saying that we have been transferred to a better hotel and the problem has been resolved. Later, someone may have a conscience and send a private message to our isolated people. Said it was instructed to do so."

According to the quarantined personnel, there was also a foreigner who was quarantined together. This foreigner has been moved to a higher-floor room, and the medical staff who were isolated together live on the higher-floor with better room conditions.
As of press time, more than 40 people in centralized isolation are still living in hotels without any heating, poor facilities, and serious safety hazards.

The Chinese authorities launched an "anal swab" test, which triggered a huge backlash from the Chinese people, calling it "very insulting." A few days ago, a video of the Chinese people after the "anal swab" test was exposed by the media, causing Chinese netizens to exclaim: "So scary", "Have you been taken out by a tongs?"
The mainland portal Sina News released a video at night of 29 January 2021, stating that it was the scene of "the people of Shijiazhuang undergoing a nucleic acid anal swab test" on 28 January.
The video shows that many people who have done anal swab testing, regardless of age or sex, walk with their feet wide open, limp and limp, seemingly suffering from great physical injury and pain.
The film also emphasizes that the current anal swab screening method is "only used for key populations at isolation points."
Many Chinese netizens were taken aback when they saw this video, exclaiming, "I'm going, it's so scary!", "Have you been taken out by a tongs?", "It seems that anal swab testing is not very comfortable!"
According to a report from Radio Free Asia, only mainland China currently uses anal swab sampling method in the world, compulsorily testing the general population for the CCP virus.
The CCP officially claimed that sampling through the anus can increase the detection rate and reduce omissions. The Beijing authorities announced on 23 January that they would sample throat swabs and anal swabs at the same time.
Recently, a new 9-year-old boy in Beijing was diagnosed with the CCP virus. After that, all students, faculty and staff of the boy’s school had nasopharyngeal swabs, oropharyngeal swabs, anal swabs and serum tests.
A few days later, the Chinese Communist Party’s CCTV reported that all residents in Daxing District, Beijing, where there were cases of infection, had to undergo throat swabs, anal swabs, and serum tests at the same time. The official also released a schematic diagram of anal swab sampling.

However, Chinese netizens are extremely disgusted with the sampling of anal swabs. Some netizens said, “It is not very harmful, extremely insulting”.
Some people also said that "I have dispelled the idea of going home for the New Year after reading the official propaganda pictures. The deaths and illnesses are small, but the accidents are serious."
A pharmacist in Beijing told Radio Free Asia that the amount of virus in feces is indeed high, but the official use of this method for detection may be due to the low sensitivity of the detection reagents in the mainland.
According to official reports, many patients were found to be positive after multiple tests. After the epidemic broke out globally last year, the testing reagents that the CCP exported overseas were approved for poor quality and low accuracy, and returned by many countries, making the CCP face losses.
