On 27 January 2021, with the strong support of relevant military aviation, the Civil Aviation East China Regional Administration organized and coordinated all relevant units to use China Eastern A350 and Shandong Airlines 737-800 aircraft to successfully implement the airport test flights of the Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport construction project.
Each test flight lasted more than 2 hours, verified the flight procedures and minimum operating standards of Jiaodong Airport, low-visibility operating procedures, inspected the operation of the airport operation support equipment and facilities, and inspected the airport flight area, taxi routes and parking spaces, and airport clearance.
The actual situation, etc., achieved the expected goal of actual inspection of the airport's operational guarantee capability, completed an important work in the key link of the airport construction project, and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent industry acceptance and transfer to operation.
