Recently, Singapore has added new requirements for short-term visitors to purchase travel insurance related to the novel coronavirus. The relevant content is as follows:
Starting at 11.59 pm on 31 January 2021, passengers who enter Singapore through Air Travel Pass and "Express Channel" arrangements must purchase travel insurance with an insured amount of not less than SGD 30,000 in advance to pay for travel medical and hospital expenses related to the novel coronavirus that may be incurred during the new period. Passengers can choose to purchase relevant insurance in Singapore or other countries, and pay attention to carry relevant insurance materials (electronic version or paper version) for reference.
