Researchers at the National University of Singapore (NUS) have developed an aerogel that can convert air into drinking water.
This kind of aerogel, which looks like a sponge under the microscope, can condense water molecules in the air into water, and the entire process does not require batteries or other power sources to operate.Image : National University of Singapore In a humid environment, one kilogram of aerogel can produce 17 liters of water, and the water quality meets the drinking water standards of the World Health Organization. NUS stated that it is seeking cooperation from business partners to bring this invention to the market.
