Nature scientific report in 2015 provided a glimpse into Chinese bat coronavirus mutation

In 2015, a report appeared on the main scientific site of Nature Magazine, https://www.nature.com/articles/nm.3985. Its earliest version in the web archive dates back to November 2015, and to be more precise, the article was submitted for review on 12 June 2015. The news was translated into Russian that year, but also remained invisible to the general public.

Scientists from University of North Carolina synthesized "in vitro and in vivo" a brand new hybrid coronavirus involving SARS-CoV



What was it about in that scientific report? The report reveals the fact that in 2014 a group of scientists from the University of North Carolina began a study: They took the surface protein of Chinese bat coronavirus SHC014, which is harmless to humans, and transferred it to the human SARS virus (SARS-CoV) already known at that time. As a result, after a year of hard work, they successfully synthesized "in vitro and in vivo" a brand new hybrid coronavirus suitable for a human epidemic. 

The stated purpose of this completely civilian study (note: completely civilian, not military) was to "understand clearly" whether bat coronavirus mutation could happen in nature and whether it would become dangerous for people. It was for this purpose that the coronavirus was assisted to mutate in vitro and in the end they proved, "Hurray, this is possible!" 

The scientists happily reported in the publication, “A SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronaviruses shows potential for human emergence: We synthetically re-derived an infectious full-length SHC014 recombinant virus and demonstrate robust viral replication both in vitro and in vivo ... ". It is believed that scientists at that moment sincerely believed that they were conducting research useful for medicine on abstract horses in a vacuum.

Scientific experiment came after the U.S. government approved a moratorium in 2014 prohibiting experiments with pathogenic human infections

The work unnoticed by us was, nevertheless, noticed by colleagues in the scientific world. Moreover, still in the process. With the general verdict: "but what are you doing there, you whores, you have already beguiled the shores?" Well, in more accepted terms for the scientific community, perhaps even in Latin. In particular, the American government hastily in the same 2014 approved a moratorium prohibiting experiments with pathogenic human infections.

The moratorium was American, only extending to American institutions funded by scientific grants in health care (nih.gov). It has become impossible to complete the SARS / Bat coronavirus hybrid project in North Carolina. Therefore, the work was completed already in China. Where exactly? Oh, well, at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The completion of this study was apparently financed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, since the American USAID-EPT-PREDICT (indicated by the source of funding in the final article) does not finance scientists abroad.

An interesting detail: the notes to the article are more interesting than the article itself. In accordance with the rules of the journal Nature, after references to the literature, researchers are required to give a bunch of information: How humanely the experimental mice were treated, how lung tissue cells were taken from humans, and how safety measures were observed ... In particular, it states that the laboratory in Wuhan possesses the 3rd degree of biosecurity (BSL3). Although for such dangerous studies, the degree of protection should be at maximum 4th level (BSL4). Already well aware that they are doing something wrong, the Chinese researchers wrote that they additionally installed some fans with UPS, and it became the norm ...

Shi Zhengli was concerned how to transmit the bat coronavirus to a person

                                    


In the final article, started in North Carolina and finished in China, we can see several Chinese names in the list of authors. In particular, the lovely lady Shi Zhengli. All these years she did not calm down. In and before 2017, she continued to work in her not very protected laboratory on the problem: How to transmit the bat coronavirus to a person?

The logical result of this work: Shi Zhengli  diagnosed the epidemic of the novel coronavirus in Wuhan in December 2019, even at the stage when there were only 27 cases. It is clear that in any other city with a population of over one million no one would have ever paid attention to 27 new patients with pneumonia, of which there are already thousands in hospitals. I suppose, even in Wuhan, no one would have paid attention to this: It is unlikely that the city's hospitals reported daily to the virologist Shi Zhengli, who they had patients with pneumonia and diarrhea but if there was a laboratory worker among the 27 cases, this would explain a lot.

Summary. We have every reason to believe that a hybrid of a dangerous, but clumsy SARS and a very volatile, but not affecting people, bat coronavirus began to create the criminal bumblers of North Carolina for the sake of scientific interest in order to understand whether such a threat is possible. Having been banned from doing bullshit, the work on creating the virus was successfully completed by even more criminal Chinese colleagues in the inadequately protected laboratory of Wuhan. 

All of the above, as we can see, they happily write a joint article and report on the successfully created human coronavirus with the same pride and spontaneity with which Girkin once managed to report in the hour of the Boeing disaster, as he just shot down in the same place Ukrainian An-26 ... But then the Chinese did not keep track of the test tubes or employees, and the novel coronavirus went out for a walk.

Therefore editing of numbers (more on this under the cut of a specialist's research) it is most likely the purpose of the article is geopolitical, to defuse rumours and influence economic forecasts.

Work on the creation of the artificial coronavirus was carried out in North Carolina, completed in Wuhan


The evidence presented in the article is purely speculative. There are no markers to prove a "natural" or "laboratory" origin of the virus. The virus, of course, does not carry "tweezers and flask genes", and the work on the creation of an artificial virus was carried out, as we already know, precisely on pieces of the viral code of natural strains. Therefore, all the arguments of the article are in the style "it is unlikely that scientists would build a virus exactly as it is now built."

Russian: Demand the strains from 2015 to 2019 and compare with the code of SARS-CoV-2

It is clear that the only irrefutable argument in such a dispute is to demand the strain created in 2015 (and all subsequent strains that were created by the Shi Zhengli team in the Wuhan laboratory from 2015 to 2019) and compare with the code of the current SARS-CoV-2 but this is precisely what the authors of the "refuting" study did not magically try to do.

Moreover, repeating many times "there is no evidence that the virus was made in the laboratory" and making hypnotizing passes by hand, they never mention that the design of coronaviruses in laboratories has already been carried out. The scientists and journals do not mention the work of 2015, and generally diligently pretend as if they did not know its essence, although they simply could not have heard of it in their industry,  “If someone were seeking to engineer a new coronavirus as a pathogen, they would have constructed it from the backbone of a virus known to cause illness. But the scientists found that the SARS-CoV-2 backbone differed substantially from those of already known coronaviruses and mostly resembled related viruses found in bats and pangolins ... " pathogenic strains, and we see pieces of viruses from bats and pangolins ... ”. Surprise: it was with bats and the SARS virus that the work was going on.

PS: They are already asking me what, they say, evidence that this is the same virus. I answer: there is not and cannot be any evidence, since there is no sequencing code of the virus created in 2015, and all its possible sequels to compare. And even if the developers refuse to provide the code of the 2015 virus with the words “we just do not want to show it”, even this cannot serve as proof. But I repeat: I don't think this issue is important at all. Whether it is the same virus or its natural twin; whether the test tubes were securely stored in the laboratory or the mess reigned - it no longer matters.

Humanity created coronavirus in 2015 ready for a pandemic

It is important that humanity with its own hands, out of curiosity and out of the blue, created in 2015 a ready-made tool for a global pandemic. Do you understand? The village fools have unscrewed the nuts on the rails. We have speculation that the train derailed at this point for this very reason. But there is no proof. There is a second version that the passengers died for a completely different reason, from the "natural malfunction of the carriage." But this does not negate the fact that unscrewing the nuts on the rails is a flagrant crime that should be punished so severely and publicly that no one could ever think of doing something like that in the future.
