Beware of myositis around the injection site
The mainstream media have reported on concerns about the relation between myocarditis and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine/Comirnaty and Moderna vaccine. Both vaccine producers have added precaution on myocarditis and urged vaccinators worldwide to be wary of myocarditis. If they have condition of myocarditis, they should seek immediate medical attention. In fact, there is another condition that is related to COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2, covi, novel coronavirus, CCP virus) vaccination. It is myositis around the injection site for it can cost the vaccinator lots of money for medical investigation into the cause of muscle pain and treatment. Cervical radiculopathy may also be linked to covi vaccination.

Myositis more troublesome than myocarditis
Myocarditis is the inflammation and damage of the heart muscle known as myocardium. Commonly caused by a viral condition, it can be due to bacteria, fungi, parasite infection or reaction to a drug. In contrast, myositis is more dangerous.
Myositis is the inflammation or swelling of other body muscles. Injury, drugs, infection or an immune disorder can lead to myositis. This condition therefore is linked to covi vaccination.

Greek and Oxford scholars published study on myositis in connection with covi vaccination
The team of N Tsifetaki, Department of Internal Medicine of General Hospital of Ioannina, Greece, comprising three Greek and one Oxford scholars, publish their study on myositis in the international journal QJM on 27 February 2021.
Entitled "COVID-19 vaccine-related myositis", the Greek-Oxford study recounts a non-diabetic woman with no SARS-CoV-2 (covi) infection with "profound upper arm pain, soreness and curtailed movement" after covi vaccination. Her symptoms lasted for six weeks "with no residual loss of function" but she spent money on MRI for investigation into muscle pain and dysfunction.
The study revealed the woman's condition, "Upon physical examination, there were no signs of skin erythema or swelling. There was tenderness over the deltoid muscle, guarding and decreased abduction of the shoulder and arm. Serologic testing yielded increased serum creatine kinase concentration suggesting skeletal muscle damage. Urine analysis excluded myoglobinuria. At MRI for investigation of muscle pain and dysfunction, middle head of the deltoid muscle appeared severely edematous, with no apparent tearing or abscess (Figure 1a). Deltoid muscle architecture was preserved and edema appeared to track along the muscle fascicles. On contrast-enhanced MR images, affected muscle exhibited prominent enhancement indicating inflammation (myositis) (Figure 1b)."

COVID-19 vaccine-related myositis
A 56-year-old non-diabetic woman with no evidence of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection presented with profound left upper arm pain, soreness and curtailed movement. Because of disabling pain she could hardly carry her handbag. The patient reported no unaccustomed or vigorous exercise or heavy manual labor prior to the onset of symptoms. Pain had developed 8 days after a second dose of COVID-19 vaccine into her deltoid muscle and produced decreased range of motion and progressive weakness. She had no systemic symptoms as malaise and fever. Upon physical examination, there were no signs of skin erythema or swelling. There was tenderness over the deltoid muscle, guarding and decreased abduction of the shoulder and arm. Serologic testing yielded increased serum creatine kinase concentration suggesting skeletal muscle damage. Urine analysis excluded myoglobinuria. At MRI for investigation of muscle pain and dysfunction, middle head of the deltoid muscle appeared severely edematous, with no apparent tearing or abscess (Figure 1a). Management consisted of rest, cryotherapy, compression and NSAIDs to decrease subjective pain. Symptoms resolved over the course of 6 weeks with no residual loss of function. Interestingly, MR findings persisted almost 2 months past resolution of symptoms.

With intramuscular vaccination, muscle is exposed to modified contaminant agents through direct inoculation, which elicit an immune response to the injected antigen. When present, induced muscle toxicity may relate to the inciting agent, its components and the host’s immune or inflammatory response.1–3 Although in our attempt to eliminate needle myopathy4 in our patient, we performed no muscle biopsy, the temporal link between symptoms and vaccination procedure, coupled with reversible toxicity suggests diagnosis of COVID-19 vaccine-associated myopathy as the cause of symptoms. We presume that in addition to minor muscle injury at the site of injection, toxic myopathy may indeed comprise the underlying cause for reported pain5 of a variable severity at the vaccination site. Although similar to the COVID-19 infection itself the exact mechanism6 causing damage to the injected muscle is not known, it is worth reporting our observation of myositis suggesting a causal relationship to the novel, modified mRNA COVID-19 vaccine-adverse event, myalgia.

Cost of MRI in Singapore remains unaffordable for many with budget constraints
An MRI in Singapore may cost a range of S$965 to S$1500, depending on where the MRI is done, and the patient can only use up to S$300 of MediSave per year to pay for an MRI. For those with budget constraints, this poses financial burden on a vaccinator.
The vaccinator is advised to consider the risks of covi vaccination if they have issues of muscle pain although the government encourages people aged 12 years and above to get vaccinated.

Comirnaty vaccination may lead to cervical radiculopathy
The reporter revealing myositis above has intermittent muscle pain and cramps after Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccination. My first dose is on 14 May 2021 and my second dose is 6 June 2021. The muscle pain on the left arm was sharp because the muscle was swelling. The condition lasted for seven days from the first dose. The patient was given different painkillers such as Napan and Paracetemol after the two doses. These painkillers only temporarily stop the pain. Two weeks after one month from the second dose, an equally sharp pain returns to the injection site followed by arm muscle cramps on two mornings, waking the reporter up from sleep at 7 am.
The muscle pain on the right arm subsides faster and disappears after the second dose. Muscle knots are not felt anymore. Comirnaty is a drug for muscle knots.
Only the muscle pain on the left arm comes sudden with cramps. The polyclinic doctor told me to get a neck x-ray (cervical x-ray) done. He suspects cervical radiculopathy causes the pain from my neck to the left arm past the injection site.
I did not have cervical radiculopathy prior to the first dose although I had muscle knots on my right arm that were resolved after ultrasound functional wellness treatment at Narathea for one year and the remaining knots disappeared after the second Comirnaty dose.

Cervical radiculopathy signs and symptoms typically include pins-and-needles tingling, numbness, and/or weakness in the areas served by the affected nerve root. In addition to these neurological deficits, pain is also present in most cases. These signs and symptoms may be felt in one area only, such as the shoulder, or progress along the entire arm and into the hand and fingers.
Cervical radiculopathy signs and symptoms are most commonly on just one side of the body, but they can be on both sides. If neurological deficits become severe or go into the hand, they can reduce the ability to perform many routine tasks, such as gripping or lifting objects, writing, typing, or getting dressed.

The most common causes of cervical radiculopathy are when a nerve root becomes inflamed or damaged due to a nearby bone spur or cervical herniated disc, such as from spinal degeneration over time or an injury. The effectiveness of CCP covi vaccines is facing more and more doubts. The Ministry of Health of Singapore announced on Tuesday (6th) that only Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine) and Moderna are vaccinated. Vaccine talents will be included in the official national vaccination statistics, and Chinese vaccinators will not be counted.According to The Straits Times on Wednesday (7 July 2021), the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that the national vaccination numbers only reflect the number of people vaccinated under the national vaccination plan.
Singapore only officially uses Comirnaty and Moderna vaccines in its vaccination campaign. These two vaccines use unprecedented mRNA technology to produce antibodies against the Chinese Communist virus. CoronaVac is only circulated in a small area, and the Singapore authorities have largely kept the CoronaVac stock, which is said to be used by those who have an adverse reaction to Comirnaty or Moderna vaccine.
Singapore cannot trust Chinese vaccines. As of press time of The Straits Times report, the producer of CoronaVac has not yet fulfilled the request of the Ministry of Health of Singapore to provide more test data about its vaccination.
For those vaccinated abroad, the Singapore government will treat them as unvaccinated, and they can still be fully vaccinated against Comirnaty or Moderna. Kenneth Mak, Director of medical services at the Ministry of Health of Singapore, told reporters on Wednesday that the Singapore government cannot guarantee the safety of the mixed vaccine.
Singapore is one of the countries with the lowest rate of infection and death rate of the Chinese Communist Party virus in the world. As of Wednesday, the country had recorded 62,640 confirmed covid cases and only 36 people died. According to Singapore’s Yahoo News, approximately 65% of Singaporeans have received at least one dose of the CCP virus vaccine.
Singapore's concerns about Chinese vaccines are not groundless. According to an analysis by the US Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC), among the countries with high vaccination rates in the world, the number of infections per week (after adjusting for population) has been increasing in at least 6 countries. Yes: Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Seychelles, Mongolia, Uruguay and Chile. The latter five countries all use CCP vaccines.
