Qingdao has confirmed 6 local covid cases and 5 asymptomatic infections on 13 October 2020

According to the Qingdao Health Commission website, on 12 October 2020, 6 new cases of covid are confirmed in Qingdao, of which 2 cases were previous asymptomatic infections. There are 5 new cases of asymptomatic infection. The relevant information was released to the public in the early morning of 13 October and the details are as follows:

Confirmed case 1: Jiang XX, female, 53 years old, confirmed as an asymptomatic infection on 11 October. On 12 October, combined with clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert team confirmed that the case was ordinary.

Confirmed case 2: Han XX, male, 58 years old, confirmed as asymptomatic infection on October 11. On 12 October, combined with clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert team confirmed that the case was ordinary.

Confirmed case 3: Niu XX, female, 50 years old, nursing worker, entered the Municipal Chest Hospital on 25 August to accompany the patient. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, combined with clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert team confirmed that the case was ordinary.

Confirmed case 4: Dong XX, male, 38 years old, a patient in the Municipal Chest Hospital, admitted to the hospital on 28 August. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, combined with clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert team confirmed that the case was ordinary.

Confirmed case 5: Jiao XX, male, 83 years old, patient in the Municipal Chest Hospital, admitted to the hospital on 22 September. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, combined with clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert team confirmed the case severe.

Confirmed case 6: Yuan XX, male, 65 years old, full-time escort, admitted to hospital on 22 September to accompany the confirmed case 5 Jiao XX. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, combined with clinical manifestations and laboratory test results, the expert team confirmed that the case was ordinary.

Asymptomatic infected person 1: Liu XX, female, 83 years old, is a confirmed case 2. Han XX's mother lives at No. 7 Wuyang Road, Luoyang Road Sub-district Office, Shibei District. On 11 October  a close contact of Han XX was sampled and quarantined for medical observation. On that day, the nucleic acid test of the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the nucleic acid retest of the Municipal Center for Disease Control were positive. On 12 October, the expert team determined that they were asymptomatic and transferred to a designated hospital for isolation and observation.

Asymptomatic infection 2: Sun XX, female, 27 years old, a patient in the Municipal Chest Hospital, admitted to the hospital on September 20. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, the expert team determined that the infection was asymptomatic.

Asymptomatic infection 3: Li XX, female, 23 years old, a patient in the Municipal Chest Hospital, admitted to the hospital on 7 June. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, the expert team determined that the infection was asymptomatic.

Asymptomatic infection 4: Wu XX, male, 25 years old, a patient in the Municipal Chest Hospital, admitted to the hospital on August 13. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, the expert team determined that the infection was asymptomatic.

Asymptomatic infection 5: Liu, female, 25 years old, a patient in the Municipal Chest Hospital, admitted to the hospital on 22 September. On 11 October, the nucleic acid test was positive, and the municipal CDC re-examined positive. On 12 October, the expert team determined that the infection was asymptomatic.

As of 12 am on 13 October, Qingdao has confirmed 6 cases of covid and 6 cases of asymptomatic infection.

As of 12 am on 13 October, Qingdao has confirmed a total of 71 cases of local covid, of which 64 were cured and discharged, and 1 died. There are currently 6 cases receiving isolation treatment in designated hospitals; 37 imported cases abroad, of which cured are 36 discharged cases, one case (imported from the UK) is currently being treated in isolation at a designated hospital; 55 cases of asymptomatic infection, 47 of whom have been discharged, are currently being isolated and treated in designated medical institutions. At present, there are a total of 144 close contacts included in the centralized isolation medical observation in Qingdao.
