The Malaysian Maritime Department has announced that it has arrested 60 Chinese nationals and detained 6 fishing boats registered in China, accusing them of invading Malaysian waters.

According to a report by Radio Hong Kong, the Malaysian maritime law enforcement agency stated on October 9 that it seized 6 Chinese vessels off the coast of the southern state of Johor that day. These vessels were all registered in Qinhuangdao, China. All 60 crew members arrested were Chinese nationals aged between 31 and 60 years old.

According to Malaysia’s official “Report of the Third Series of Inspector Generals in 2018”, from 2016 to 2019, 89 cases of Chinese border naval incursions in the waters of Sarawak, Malaysia and Sabah were discovered. 72 times were by the CCP’s maritime police, and the remaining 17 were by the CCP’s navy.

Since the beginning of this year, the CCP’s bullying in the South China Sea has been condemned in unison by neighboring countries in the South China Sea. The CCP not only sank Vietnamese fishing boats and prevented Malaysia's offshore energy exploration, but also unilaterally banned fishing and conducted military exercises in disputed waters.

The South China Sea is the main channel for global commerce and transportation. As early as July 12, 2016, the International Arbitration Tribunal made a ruling that the CCP’s "nine-dash line" violated the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. However, the CCP ignored international arbitration and continued to operate in the South China Sea. Want to expand.

In July this year, the United States raised its opposition to the CCP’s claim for sovereignty in the South China Sea for the first time. US Secretary of State Pompeo issued a strongly worded statement on July 13, stating that the CCP’s claim to offshore resource rights in most of the South China Sea is "completely illegal" and condemning the CCP's use of "power is justice." Intimidation methods undermine the sovereignty of Southeast Asian countries.

Since then, the United States has dispatched aircraft carrier battle groups to perform exercise missions in the South China Sea, emphasizing the need to maintain free navigation in the South China Sea and safeguard the sovereign interests of US allies.

At the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Video Summit held on September 9, the Chinese Communist Party’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi claimed that the United States is "the biggest driver of the militarization of the South China Sea."

Pham Binh Minh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, the rotating chairman of ASEAN, immediately stated, “We welcome the United States to the South China Sea to help ASEAN countries and make constructive contributions and rapid responses to maintaining regional peace, stability and development.”

Outsiders believe that the Vietnamese Foreign Minister’s speech undoubtedly embarrassed Wang Yi on the spot. This also shows that more and more countries bullied by the CCP have begun to join the U.S. camp against the CCP. Global anti-communism is the general trend, and the CCP is becoming more and more isolated in the international community. .
