 According to the website of the Qingdao Municipal Health Commission, on 11 October 2020, Qingdao has added 3 new cases of asymptomatic infection of covid, of which 2 cases are found when ordinary patients are under treatment. During the nucleic acid test, it was discovered that one case was discovered during the immediate nucleic acid test of the close contacts identified. After epidemiological investigations, the expert team initially judged that the above 3 cases of asymptomatic infections are related to the Municipal Chest Hospital. Han Moumou, male, 58 years old, unemployed, lives in No. 7 Wuyang Road, Luoyang Road Sub-district Office, Shibei District. On 9 September, Han XX was hospitalized at the Municipal Chest Hospital for tuberculosis and was discharged on 4 October. Because Han was going to be hospitalized again at the Municipal Chest Hospital on 12 October, he went to the nearest central hospital for a nucleic acid test on the morning of 10 October, and the result was positive. On 11 October, the city's Center for Disease Control and Prevention had a positive nucleic acid retest. Based on laboratory test results and clinical manifestations, the expert team determined that they were asymptomatic and transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and observation.

Jiang XX, female, 53 years old, working as an escort in a hospital, lives in Kangju Apartment, No. 81 Zhoukou Road, Shibei District. From 21 July to 29 September, she accompanied the inpatients in the Chest 1 Department on the 2nd Floor of the Municipal Chest Hospital. On 10 October, the nucleic acid test of the Central Hospital was positive. On 11 October, the city's CDC had a positive nucleic acid retest. Based on laboratory test results and clinical manifestations, the expert team determined that they were asymptomatic and transferred to designated hospitals for isolation and observation.

Shao Moumou, male, 57 years old, is Jiang Moumou's husband, a taxi driver, living in Kangju Apartment, No. 81 Zhoukou Road, Shibei District. Shao Moumou drove a taxi named Lu U•T4923, and said that he always wears a mask while driving and does not talk to passengers. In the morning of 10 October, he went to the emergency department of the Central Hospital for treatment with mild cerebral infarction. The nucleic acid test was performed due to hospitalization, and the result was positive. On 11 October, the city's CDC had a positive nucleic acid retest. It is reported that after receiving the report, the Qingdao City Leading Group for Coordinating Epidemic Prevention and Control and Economic Operation (Command Headquarters) immediately initiated emergency response and carried out emergency treatment. They quickly carried out epidemiological investigations, immediate nucleic acid testing and health management for all close contacts, close contacts of close contacts, and general contacts found. Fully enclosed control was implemented overnight in key places such as the residential unit buildings of the 3 cases of asymptomatic infections, the Municipal Chest Hospital, and the Emergency Department of the Central Hospital, and the environment was completely eliminated. All relevant epidemic prevention and control work is being carried out in an orderly manner, and relevant information will be announced to the public in a timely manner.
