SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus) continues to rage. Nearly 1 am on 2 October,  President Trump confirmed that he and First Lady Melania Trump are diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus) hours after his adviser, Hope Hicks, was diagnosed at night of 1 October. The couple have self-isolated at White House and will continue to be under quarantine for 14 days.

According to reports from many US media, Trump’s senior adviser Hicks was diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2. She and Trump only recently boarded Air Force One and the presidential helicopter, which greatly increased the possibility of Trump’s infection.

"Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19," President Trump tweeted. He added, "We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!"

A White House source told Fox News shortly after the President's tweet and he and Melania are "fine" and are in the quarantine process at the White House. They have postponed all upcoming engagements while Trump's only itinerary activity in the White House is a teleconference. Melania Trump tweeted, "Please be sure you are staying safe and we will all get through this together."

Meanwhile, Trump's doctor, Dr. Sean P. Conley, confirmed Trump and the First Lady's positive SARS-CoV-2 tests. He said, "This evening I received confirmation that both President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The President and First Lady are both well at this time, and they plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence."

He continued, "The White House medical team and I will maintain a vigilant watch, and I appreciate the support provided by some of our country's greatest medical professionals and institutions. Rest assured I expected the President to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering, and I will keep you updated on any future developments."

Bloomberg and NTD reported that Hicks has followed Trump's itinerary several times this week and traveled to Cleveland on Air Force One to participate in the presidential candidate debate in Ohio on 29 September She went to Minnesota on the same day to participate in the election campaign. She was witnessed by the media two days before the diagnosis, and she had not worn a mask in the same car with senior White House adviser Stephen Miller and Trump campaign adviser. She was immediately isolated from others on the return flight and was diagnosed positive on 1 October.

According to reports, Trump and the First Lady will be regularly tested for the virus, and White House staff must also be screened daily. In addition, anyone flying with Trump on a helicopter or Air Force One must also wear a mask.

As of 7 am on 2 October, the number of confirmed infections with the CCP virus worldwide has reached more than 34 million, and the death toll has exceeded 1.01 million. There are more than 6.8 million cases in the United States and the death toll exceeds 200,000. (Note: Because the CCP concealed the epidemic data, the real data is higher than the statistics).

President Trump has repeatedly criticized the CCP for concealing the truth about the epidemic and causing a global crisis. This epidemic is the most serious attack on the United States. Following his diagnosis, it is possible that Trump will mandate the US nationwide practice of wearing masks, safe distancing and urging CCP's accountability over the pandemic.
