US President Trump announced on Twitter on Thursday (1 October) that he and his wife Melania were also diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2.
[22:14] "The New York Times" quoted news reports that Trump began to show cold-like symptoms, and the current symptoms are mild. The report also said that Trump appeared tired when attending a fundraising event in New Jersey on Thursday; the day before, he even fell asleep on the Air Force One plane.
In addition, Trump's daughter Ivanka and her husband Kushner, Trump's youngest son Barron, and Treasury Secretary May Mnuchin all tested negative for the virus.
[20:11] Vice President Pence's press secretary O'Malley (Devin O'Malley) announced on Friday morning (2 October) US time that the Pence couple’s latest coronavirus test was negative and said Pence is currently in good health.

US Secretary of State Pompeo, who is visiting Europe, said that he and his wife were tested again for the new crown virus, and the results were negative. The last time he met with Trump was 15 September and to be prudent, he will reconsider his itinerary to visit Asia.

First lady Melania said on Twitter that she is isolated from Trump at home and feels good now. She said that all subsequent activities have been postponed, reminding everyone to stay safe. Vice President Pence said on Twitter that he and his wife Karen Pence would pray for the Trumps and wish them a quick recovery.
The Boston Globe quoted an aide who met with Trump on Thursday as saying that Trump was behaving as usual and had no symptoms. White House spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany said on Twitter that it is a time for national unity and emphasized that Trump "will continue to give priority to people."
[14:00] White House doctor Conley issued a memo on Friday about Trump's condition. He said that Trump and Melania "feel good" after being diagnosed, and will temporarily stay in the apartment in the White House during their recovery period and will be closely monitored by the White House medical team. He expected Trump to continue to perform his duties as usual during his recovery, but did not disclose whether the other party has symptoms.
[11:50] US President Trump said on Twitter on Thursday that the 31-year-old White House senior adviser Hope Hicks was diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2. He and his wife Melania were waiting for the virus test results and began to isolate.
Hicks took the "Air Force One" on Tuesday (29 September) to accompany Trump to Cleveland, Ohio to attend the first presidential election debate. The two also took a helicopter ride from the Minnesota rally to the White House on Wednesday (30 September).
