Report by : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

According to the recent notice from the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, all passengers who undergo IgM antibody testing on or after 3 December 2020 and are intending to board flights to the People's Republic of China (PRC) on or after 5 December must use venous blood sampling for testing and submit an indication of this Negative proof of various sampling methods in order to apply for green QR health code. If they submit a certificate issued by the laboratory to apply for the green health code, they must also indicate the venous blood sampling method.

Travelers to PRC are reminded to confirm the relevant information when making an appointment for the test and after receiving the test certificate to avoid affecting their itinerary because the test certificate does not indicate the venous blood sampling method.
