In Indonesia, a new day of  confirmed covid cases reached a new high, reaching 1385, and 37 deaths.

The Jakarta Post reported that Indonesia's cumulative confirmed cases and deaths are currently the most among Southeast Asian countries, with 52,812 cases and 2,720 cases recorded, respectively. 21,909 patients have recovered and discharged to date.

Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, Bali and South Sulawesi had the most new cases in the past 24 hours but there are no new cases in Riau Province, Bangka Belitung, East Nusa Tenggara and Gorontalo Province.

In addition, on a Citilink flight from Jakarta to Phnom Penh, nine passengers have been tested positive after disembarking in Cambodia, including one Indonesian citizen and eight Cambodian citizens. The other Indonesian passengers on the flight are ordered to be quarantined in Phnom Penh for two weeks.

The Indonesian tourists are the first ASEAN country tourists to pay Cambodia 3000 US Dollars entry deposit for insurance, covid testing and quarantine. Cambodians are spared.

According to the Cambodia Ministry of Health, tourists entering Cambodia should be prepared to see this deposit applied to a minimum of 165 US Dollars for mandatory covid testing, approximately 1,281 US Dollars more to support quarantine in the event one or more passengers on their flight test positive, and a minimum of approximately 3,255 US Dollars more for treatment and quarantine if the traveler tests positive.

As of 27 June 2020, Cambodia has a total number of 139 confirmed covid cases, of which 129 patients have recovered and discharged.
