Shen Jilan, known as the "living fossil of the National People's Congress", has recently heard news of cancer. It is said that Shen Jilan appeared unwell in Beijing at the end of May, at a time when the two sessions were sensitive. The Chinese Communist Party official has not responded to Shen Jilan's health status. Recently, a propaganda video about Shen Jilan's talk about drug control was suddenly broadcast. She passed away from diseases on 28 June 2020.
Recently, photos of Shen Jilan's critically ill intubation were spread online. In the photo, Shen Jilan closed his eyes and lay on the intensive care bed, with a nasal tube inserted in his nose and an open mouth, as if she had difficulty breathing. An escort was sitting next to the bed, wearing a N95 mask against SARS-CoV-2.
According to rumours in the WeChat circle of friends, the staff around Shen Jilan revealed that she was unwell in Beijing at the end of May. She was then sent to Anyang, Henan by the Naval General Hospital, and then transferred to Shanxi Changzhi First People's Hospital for treatment.
Radio Free Asia reported that Shen Jilan is in advanced stage of gastric cancer. Because she is more than 90 years old, the doctor recommends not to perform surgery, but to do conservative treatment.
According to time estimates, Shen Jilan was attending the two sessions in Beijing at the time of illness. Netizens suspected that Shen Jilan might have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 during the two sessions, causing physical discomfort, and the official covered up with other disease names.
Shortly after the end of the two sessions, the Beijing authorities announced new cases on 11 June, and a new round of outbreaks broke out in Beijing. According to the official estimate of the onset time of the confirmed cases, it should be the virus infected during the sensitive period of the two sessions.
Gao Fu, a senior official of the China CDC, also publicly stated that the Beijing epidemic may have occurred in May. There are rumours on the Internet that in fact the epidemic has already occurred during the two sessions, but the Beijing authorities have squeezed for more than ten days in order to maintain stability.
Recently, the news that Shen Jilan's suspected "poisoning" is critical is spreading, but the official has not responded to the matter. It was not until 25 June that the National Anti-Drug Committee of the Communist Party of China uploaded a short video of Shen Jilan on drug control on the official WeChat public account. However, the film did not specify the time when Shen Jilan was interviewed, only indicating that the film was produced in June this year. The outside world believes that the official's rumour has a strong meaning, but it has not confirmed Shen Jilan's current health status.
According to public information, Shen Jilan was a native of Pingshun County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province. In 1954, the 18-year-old Shen Jilan first served as a representative of the National People's Congress of the Communist Party of China. Shen Jilan once told the mainland media that the first time she was a deputy to the NPC was "designated by the province."
In the political struggle of the Communist Party of China over the past 70 years, when the Cultural Revolution overthrew Liu Shaoqi and Deng Xiaoping, Shen Jilan raised her hand in favour; when Deng Xiaoping came to power, she still raised her hand in favor. She once publicly stated that "to be a deputy is to listen to the party, I have never voted against it."
Shen Jilan’s proposals at the National People’s Congress include: suggesting that the TV remote control be cancelled and watching the central station fixed; suggesting that Chinese people who go online must undergo political review and the public security organs agree to register for the Internet service; and suggest that the use of “corrupt officials” be cancelled, In order to show that the CCP is a great and correct party, all "corrupt officials" are called "the masses of people who are mixed into the party."
Shen Jilan claimed to be a peasant on many occasions, but it was revealed that she was actually a retired prefecture-level official, and the whole family of Shen Jilan was a senior official of the Communist Party of China. Before her husband retired, she was the director of urban construction, one of her two sons was the director of transportation, and the other son was the director of food. Her daughter is a division officer. Shen Jilan also opened two companies, Shanxi Shenjilan Trading Company and Shenjilan Real Estate Development Company. In 2008, the profit was 70 million yuan.

On June 28, Shen Jilan, the deputy of the National People's Congress of China, passed away, commenting that, at the historical moment when the international situation has generally shifted to the communist party and the communist party, the death of Shen Jilan, who has supported the Chinese Communist Party and has never voted against it, has a warning significance.
The Chinese Communist Party officially issued an obituary on June 28, claiming that Shen Jilan was ineffective due to illness and died in the early morning of the same day, at the age of 91.
Earlier on the Internet, pictures of Shen Jilan's nasal cannula lying on the bed were circulated. Some netizens claimed that Shen Jilan was admitted to the hospital because of advanced gastric cancer. It is also reported that she was infected with Wuhan pneumonia in Beijing during the two sessions.
Shen Jilan served as the first NPC deputy from 1954 until 2020, and was the only Chinese NPC deputy to be re-elected for 13 sessions. He has never voted against it in 66 years. She once said publicly: "When you are a representative, you must listen to the party."
Current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan: "The so-called always follow the party, in other words, it does not matter whether it is good or evil, regardless of the morality of honesty and shame, and it is enough to always be a party tool or a thug. The value of Shen Jilan is very prominent. In view of the evil of the CCP system, it cannot allow any different opinions."
In 2012, Shen Jilan was asked in an interview in the Great Hall of the People, does he usually communicate with voters?
Shen Jilan: "I don't have... It's not appropriate for you to communicate."
Current affairs commentator Zhao Pei: "This answer can be viewed at two levels. The first level is that Shen Jilan knew to communicate with voters, but she didn't do it because voters and Chinese people have no right to speak. It’s useless for her to communicate with the voters. The second level is that communication is not appropriate, why is it inappropriate. That is, if she stands on the side of the people, the people’s opinion is demolition, persecution of human rights, then she does not go This is because she refuses to stand on the side of the common people, which also shows that the Communist Party stands on the opposite side of the common people."
Shen Jilan's death came just before the CCP Standing Committee expected to pass the Hong Kong version of the National Security Law on June 30. Experts believe that it is of alarming significance.
Current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan: "Now that Shen Jilan is dead, it is just a period when the Chinese Communist Party's current doomsday and the crisis are serious, so this can be said to be a heavy blow to the morale of the Chinese Communist Party. Of course, her death also To warn the world, that is to say the end of the CCP and the disintegration of the CCP, it is already an irreversible historical trend, so everyone should clearly understand this historical trend and make their own final choice."
