In order to treat the covid patients, the Indian capital New Delhi announced the establishment of a dedicated plasma bank, and called on those who have recovered to donate plasma to help more patients get treatment.

Mumbai, which is also the hardest hit by the epidemic, has conducted door-to-door virus screening in poor neighborhoods, and some areas with high infection rates have once again implemented closure measures. As of 29 June, confirmed cases in India were as high as 568,000, and nearly 17,000 died.
