According to a Shin Min Daily News report on 21 June 2020, a wild boar rushed into the Sengkang MRT Station in Singapore and smashed the glass door of the entrance on 20 June 2020 at around 6.15 pm.

Eyewitness and hair salon staff Yu Qiaotong (33 years old) said in an interview that when she went out to rest she found a wild boar slowly walking out of the grass. She immediately took out her mobile phone to shoot.

Qiaotong described that a man was smoking at the entrance of the MRT station. When the wild boar came to the MRT station, the man instinctively took a step back. The wild boar believed that the other party had an intention to attack and rushed to the man in fright. Fortunately, the latter successfully escaped.

However, the wild boar did not stop running. It smashed the glass door with one end, and ran straight into the subway station. Qiaotong immediately called the police. She pointed out that as soon as the wild boar collided, the whole door shattered, showing that the intensity was not small.

The nearby employee Ms Wu recalled that at the time, she only heard a loud noise, and then saw the wild boar running. She said that the wild boar is too big and ran fast. She immediately closed the door to prevent the wild boar from entering the store.

"There was no blood on the pig. I believe it was not injured. It passed through the subway station and then exited through the entrance and exit on the other side. Finally, it escaped without a trace." Soon after the incident, Miss Wu saw the police on the scene with a shield.
