According to Ming Pao, nearly 100 of the 141 testing centers under the Novel Coronavirus Popularized Community Testing Program (National Testing) have their places full today (1 September 2020), and 14 of them are fully booked on 7 September, and the Sau Mau Ping Community Hall is one of them . A reporter from Ming Pao newspaper visited the testing center this afternoon and found that many citizens did not need to register to enter. Some elderly people said that there were only three Hong Kongers in the test site. Later, the staff tore off the "full quota" notice. At the scene, at least two people took off their masks and smoked after being tested within an hour, and 5 people spit on the ground.

Hong Konger Mr. Deng went to the Sau Mau Ping Community Hall to undergo a virus test at 11 o'clock this morning. He did not register because his mobile phone did not have Internet access. He was introduced by the neighborhood to register. He said that there were 3 people in the venue for the test at the time, and there were about 30 medical and nursing staff. "There are more doctors than patients." The entire procedure was completed in less than 15 minutes. "It was not comfortable." He said that he would go to the family's home to eat every day and would continue after the test.

Mother-in-law Xie made an appointment with the former district councilor. She originally made an appointment for a virus test at Xiao Kwong Street Gymnasium a few days later. However, she saw that there were no people in the Sau Mau Ping Community Hall, so she came to register for the test. When she left, holding a mask distributed by the government, she immediately called her relatives and friends, saying "there are masks", urging them to come to the scene for testing.

Ming Pao counted the number of people admitted for testing from 11:30 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon. A total of 55 people were present within one hour. The reporter interviewed more than 10 citizens who completed the test, and about half did not make an appointment. A notice was posted outside the door saying "The quota for this time slot is full", but the staff tore it away at 12:10. The reporter inquired about the reason for tearing off the notice. The staff at the entrance said they did not know.
