According to the official Weibo news of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, as at 12 am on 18 June 2020, Beijing newly reported 21 local symptomatic covid cases, 3 suspected cases, and 3 asymptomatic infections. A total of 578 locally confirmed cases were reported, 411 were discharged, 158 were in hospital, and 9 died. 15 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under observation.
Among the newly diagnosed cases, there are 1 case in Haidian District, 14 cases in Fengtai District, and 6 cases in Daxing District.
There are no local newly reported confirmed cases in 13 districts in the city, specifically Pinggu District has no reported cases since the first outbreak.
The following Beijing districts have no reported covid cases for the specified number of days: 146 days in Yanqing District, 132 days in Huairou District, 130 days in Shunyi District, 127 days in Miyun District, 121 days in Changping District, 119 days in Tongzhou District, 3 days in Chaoyang District, 3 days in Shijingshan District, 2 days in Mentougou District, 2 days in Fangshan District, 1 day in Dongcheng District and 1 day in Xicheng District.
There are no new reports of confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic covid infections imported from abroad as at 12 am on 18 June. A total of 174 confirmed cases imported from abroad were reported, 173 were discharged, and 1 was hospitalized.
