At present, these six major markets have been temporarily suspended, or some trading halls have been closed.

A well-known financial analyst "Financial Cold Eyes" posted a video on Twitter on 13 June stating, "Beijing has a large number of armed personnel taking over the new wholesale market at the source of the epidemic. This is comparable to the original Huanan Seafood Market in Wuhan."


Another Twitter account owner by the name of Alston Kwan posted an online video showing a large number of armed policemen entered the agricultural wholesale market in Beijing Xinfadi. So many people entering the "endemic area" also increase the risk of infection as they did not wear protective clothing in the video.

The screen shows that a large number of armed personnel lined up around the market, there were still many police cars parked on the road, and citizens wearing masks on the flyover next to them were using the mobile phone to film the scene.

Lawyer Han Lianchao also posted relevant information on the Beijing epidemic on Twitter. There are pictures showing important emergency notices. All units and schools have received emergency notices from their superiors to check personnel that have entered the wholesale market from 30 May to 12 June They warned that no one must hide the report or they will be held liable.
